Monte Real Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Monte Real in La Fortuna and were very happy with both the service and the location. The property has a lovely natural feel, with a peaceful rolling river at the back that creates a true Pura Vida atmosphere, quiet, green, and relaxing.||The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always ready with a smile and assistance whenever needed.||The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with several delicious options to choose from each morning. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, with thoughtful touches like a fridge and a modern shower with convenient dispensers for both body wash and hair products.||The hotel is centrally located and very walkable to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and nearby parks, making it easy to explore La Fortuna on foot.||Overall, Hotel Monte Real offers great value, charm, and warm hospitality. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Location was perfect, room was spacious and nice. The facility itself was well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. Service, top notch. From reception, to house keeping and especially at the restaurant. Everyone was nice, but Tony especially stood out. He was attentive and professional and always on point with checking if we needed anything. All around, our stay at Hotel Monte Real was amazing and I could not recommend them more.

Wonderful spot. Gorgeous grounds with wildlife. Toucans right outside our door. The restaurant is top notch. Easy to walk around. View of volcano. All tours picked up right at front.

Budget hotel that is a few blocks away from center of town. Rooms are very clean, the grounds are well maintained and breakfast is really good. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we will defiantly stay again since the staff from the reception to the restaurant are very professional and helpful.

Best place in La fortuna. Next to everything but still have wilderness in your backyard. Gorgeous views of volcano, exotic outside your door, and the best food in the restaurant. Plus towel animals. Never need to cruise.

Old building but looks clean. We found many small bugs in the rooms. The gardens are beautiful and the breakfast was decent.

It's a nice little place with the advantage of being in the middle of the town so it was easy to access food and other stores. Breakfast is included, but it wasn't really good. It also wasn't bad. I did love the cleanliness of the rooms every day.

Large comfortable room with air conditioning and a king-sized bed. Well cleaned and the property includes a walk by the nearby river. Easy walk into center of town.
