Can't say anything bout the rooms, but when we ran out of water on the island without any chance to buy something, the lady owning the b&b was super helpful and friendly and gave us drinks for free. Not something we take for granted... We appreciate this and so we wanted to leave a comment.

😊: The location - well situated. Cute garden.. 😢: 1. Cleanliness : the shared bathroom had black mold and had canalisation issue (stinking smell). The bedroom could have been cleaner as well. 2. Too much « Do it yourself » : self check in, self breakfast, need to wait 2 hours in the morning and need to come back again in the afternoon to pay the room because the B&B owner didn’t show up on time. No communication. (Lucky we were not in the rush to get a ferry..).

Cool place to chill and eat fresh fish an chips, enjoy the sun and have a good time with your family, you can drink a tasty local beer :-)

😊: We have been here before and it was good value. I was surprised and sad how depressing it was, and I wouldn’t pay this for a room with shared bathroom and sharing. It was dusty, dirty, and in the garden pretty much every chair was broken, and old tent layed by the entrance. A sign told us we couldn’t use the kitchen but we also couldn’t lock the front door at night, so that staff at the restaurant could come in and also use the bathroom when ever, often times it was staff that USED to work at the restaurant and place. So little care about the guests… breakfast had milk that was expired and dry bread, cold eggs, not warm! I appreciated this place before, now I will never go back. I was so sad because I am a single mother, saving up to go with my teenagers. We also got food poisoning from the restaurant - same owner - and the staff was really rude.. 😢: It’s lovely location. It’s sadly not comfortable and clean enough for this price!.

😊: The girl that hosted us was super kind and friendly. The house is nice, unfortunately the “Jacuzzi” outside that you see in the photo wasn’t working. We loved the breakfast!. 😢: Bränno is an unbelievable islands, no cars, only bikes, super quiet and relaxing, and everything well looked after. Except for the area surrounding the B&B. It’s a pity that before entering the house you need to walk through what it seemed to be an abandoned area..

Easily accessible via public transit ferry from Gothenburg proper. Friendly owners, great breakfast, and bikes can be borrowed to explore the island. Beautiful rooms and the entire inn has marine decor with Scandinavian simplicity. One of my best stays around Gothenburg. Minutes away from nice beaches for bathing or sunbathing on the island. Highly recommended.

I will remember this place for a long time. Absolutely brilliant for the room rate! Perfect place to relax in the sun in the garden browsing all the books and then go for a long walk around the island. Very spacious rooms compared to other Swedish B&B's I have stayed before. There is a kettle, so you do not have to bring one along. Bring an eye mask when here in spring/summer as the windows do not have any curtains

We took a coffee (espresso not available), a small piece of cake and a beer all for 15 euros. The place is not really clean...and...I really do not find the way to describe it. Some people may like this kind of place, nothing for us, sorry.
