Museum Voorlinden

Inspirational museum with a focus on modern art and innovation. Part of the museum is dedicated to their fixed exhibition and other parts have visiting exhibitions. Appreciated the leaflet given at the entrance with information about the various artworks. Go early in the morning if you want the swimming pool to yourself!

Love this hidden gem. A fabulous building set in beautiful surroundings, with state-of-the-art exhibits. It doesn’t shout, yet its presence is quietly powerful - refined and delicate. I visit this museum multiple times a year.

Very nice location, interesting art. A bit difficult to get to without a car. It's about 1,2 km from the next bus stop. Very friendly personnel. Restaurant/Cafe is next door. Quick service, very friendly personnel as well. Great park, although in the winter not very attractive... Open every (!) day! Worth a trip (we came from Gouda).

Had a wonderful day exploring the museum with friends. There was lost of variation and the set up of the rooms is so nice and easy to navigate. It is spacious so even when crowded still does not feel full. The little book you receive at entry gives lots of background on every art piece. Some of the art would place in my house, so interesting and cool. Also enjoyed the pop-up shop and regular shop. The candy special that required a time-slot was very nice, go in line timely, but it goes quite fast. This special part required shoes off. For those that can’t take off their shoes there are shoe covers. Spent around 2,5/3 hours in the museum. Also beautiful landscaping outside.

Love this museum, had so much fun to look at all those art work, my fav one is the skyspace by James turrell I was there for 10min and just enjoying the color changing Impressive art work by Richard Serra as well

The pool is very famous yes, but if u go there just for that I would say it’s not worth it. But there are so much more to see. The environment surrounded is just so good to be true. Highly recommended even if just for the view outside. And the museum inside itself must be one of the most beautiful museum I have ever seen.

Museum VoorlinMuseum Voorlinden is a beautiful and well-curated modern art museum, worth visiting if you are in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, which made the experience smooth and pleasant. The artworks are all special in their own way, and each room offers something different. A standout for us was the marshmallow house — playful and unexpected, it really stood out as a highlight. There are a few practical things to note. You are not allowed to take even a water bottle inside, so plan accordingly. Also, the toilets are located outside the main building, which means you have to walk a bit to reach them. It's a very enjoyable place. Kids can enjoy it too. But we loved the cafe right next to it. The forest where the museum is located was wonderful. The landscaping was beautiful. You can also take a walk around the area.
