"A family favorite on the southern tip of Sanibel Island, Lighthouse Park Beach is home to the island’s famous lighthouse. It’s also a popular spot for shelling, windsurfing, and fishing off the pier. Restrooms and picnic facilities are available, and leashed pets are welcome."

Great beach on Sanibel. The sand is so soft and full of shells. The lighthouse was cool to look at, but you can't get close to it. The views were nice as well. For an island there is a lot of parking, but it fills up fast so get there early. You do have to pay to park. It's $5 and hour. You pay via text or website and they tell you when you have 15 minutes left on your time.

Beautiful beach. Calm waters and a little bit windy (November). Parking may be challenging after 10am on weekends. The whole area is very clean and well maintained with bathrooms and showers. There's also a small bbq area.

Great spot to enjoy the beach and look for seashells. Sand is soft and easy 1-2 min walk from parking to sand. Restrooms and showers. Like everywhere else on Sanibel, the parking enforcement is relentless and they are circulating the parking lot all day to find violations. Better to pay the $5/hour than risk the $150 ticket. they even check at night around sunset.

The beach is great! Soft, white sand. The bathrooms are very CLEAN, which cannot be said about alot of the bathrooms at other beaches. I spent all day there, and it did not become overcrowded. 2 👍🏿👍🏿 The water was warm and calm with occasional waves created by boats in the distance. I would have given it 5 ⭐️s, but the water is not quite as clear as Siesta Keys'. A great place to go.

We visited Lighthouse Beach Park and were struck by both its beauty and resilience. Despite the devastation left behind by Hurricane Ian, the historic lighthouse still stands tall, a powerful reminder of the island’s strength and endurance. Walking along the shoreline, you can see the impact of the storm, yet the park retains a quiet charm that makes it worth the visit. Lots of shells everywhere and many fishermen along the water too.

We found shells, water was pretty clear. BONUS: If you have an RV smaller than 30 ft they have 2 reserved parking spaces right up front by beach. We parked there for 2 hours in our 25' RV, and it only cost $10

Stunning beach, big and clean and you can relax with plenty of real edtate to use. Parking is steep at 5 dollars per hour but they do have good facilities you can use.

Beautiful sand; good parking and restroom / changing facilities. Gentle slope in from shore, didn't experience any sudden drop offs. Very gentle ocean, no crashing waves when we were there - good for kids. Enough sea shells to keep the kids happily hunting. Almost had a teenager eaten by a pelican 😆. Saw dolphins while we were there.
