Google
Came into Happy Lamb for my daughter’s birthday and it was the perfect dinner. There was four of us in our group and we all tried different broth: clear, hot&sour, hot butter and curry. We had the original combo with beef and lamb and it was all delicious. In addition to the beef and lamb we had, pork, fish, seafood, veg and some cooked foods (beef and potato, noodles, chicken wings, etc…). The service is great with staff offering suggestions, refilling broth and brining foods over for the kids. Overall was a great dinner, fun and delicious food. We will be back.

Google
Happy Lamb Hot Pot offers a wonderful dining experience in the Golden Square. We went on a weekday for their $20.99 AYCE lunch special and it was well worth it (caveat is you have to pay for the soup base which is around $8-12 depending on which you get). The quality of the meat was amazing and we enjoyed the beef slices - they paired well with the broth. The sauce bar was very complete with everything you need and also offered a selection of 3 appetizers. They have free unlimited drinks to complement your meal: Coca-Cola soft drinks, lemon water, plum juice and orange juice. We also really enjoyed the fried buns and condensed milk and the ice cream they offered at the end. The servers were incredibly attentive and overall, we had a great experience.

Google
Thank goodness we went a few minutes earlier to beat the rush. By looking at the line, you can tell that this place is good. Can't beat the price with the amount of food it offers including drinks. Definitely recommend the plum juice. I think I ate around 4 plates of seafood alone. I enjoyed the robots that came around the restaurant serving tables and with music playing. Reminds me of the beat, L.L. Cool J, "Cars ride by with the Booming system". Will definitely come back again.

I had a great experience at Happy Lamb Hot Pot! The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. There were so many fresh ingredients and sauces to choose from, making it easy to customize the meal just the way I liked it. I’ll definitely come back again for another cozy and satisfying hot pot experience!

Google
I’ve been here so many times and it never disappoints. The place is always clean with a chill, nice vibe. The food selection is huge and everything is fresh and super tasty every time I come. The staff are really nice and friendly, and service is always smooth. This spot has become one of my favourite hotpot restaurants. I’ll keep coming back for more!

Google
I was very happy to visit Happy Lamb for my birthday. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was great too. There is a great selection of meats, vegetables and mushrooms, as well as some cooked food that are ready-to-eat. Overall my experience was very positive and I'm happy to visit again or recommend this hotpot place to others.

Google
Amazing hot pot experience! The soup base was rich and flavorful, with both spicy and non-spicy options that were perfectly balanced. The sliced meats were fresh and beautifully presented, vegetables crisp, and side dishes very authentic. The dipping sauces were well-prepared and customizable to taste. Service was attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience very comfortable. Portion sizes were generous, and the environment was clean and cozy. Definitely one of the best hot pot restaurants I’ve been to — highly recommend!

Google
The restaurant is clean and well-organized, with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of options. The staff are very friendly and attentive — dishes are replenished and cleared promptly. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and great value for the price. Highly recommended for anyone who loves all-you-can-eat hot pot!

Yelp
This place was so yummy! It was my first time trying hot pot, so I might not be a reliable source when comparing to other spots in the GTA, but I thought this was amazing. There were so many options of meats, veggies, noodles, rice cakes, and mushrooms and they all were fresh and delicious. It's so fun to cook all of it in the pot. They also have lots of cooked food like chicken wings and spring rolls. They bring a selection of meats to your table, and everything is included for around $29, with the individual hot pot for about $4 per person. The broth was so flavorful, and it's such a fun and interactive meal to share with friends. The ambience was great, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Drinks are included in the all-you-can-eat, and they even give ice cream at the end. The taro flavor was soo good! Overall I left this place stuffed and very satisfied!!

Yelp
Tips: - The lunch hot pot is $20.99. The dinner hot pot is $28.99. Both don't include broth. - There is a promotion going on (May 2025) where if you get the dinner hot pot for lunch or dinner, pay an extra $1 to get broth. - I'd skip the meat at the self-serve area. You get enough beef and lamb already. Last Wednesday, our departmental meeting was pushed from its usual 1 pm start to 2:30 pm. Our team meeting was cancelled due to this move. I asked my friend what his schedule was like. It was clear, except for our afternoon meeting. It was the same for me. We had talked a while back about going for hot pot. I asked if he wanted to do hot pot for lunch. He said yes. Yay! We found three hot pot places roughly twenty minutes away from the office. We decided to try this one. We both hadn't been here before. I drove us over here. There was lots of parking in front of the restaurant. I backed into a spot and we walked in. We were promptly greeted by a woman. We got a table of two. We were quickly seated at table 37. Our seats were comfortable. The table was large enough for our hot pot, and all our food and drinks during our meal. We got menus. The lunch hot pot was $20.99. The dinner hot pot was available for $28.99. The only difference is that there's a section in the self-serve area that has dinner items only. We were told that there was a special going on. If we each got the dinner hot pot for $28.99, we could add $1 for broth. We said yes. Broth is separate. It's an interesting pricing structure. We wanted two types of broth for $9.99, but we added the $1 on the dinner hot pot to check everything out. For the broths, we got clear and curry. The woman said that she'd bring the pot out with the broths and we could help ourselves to the self-serve area. We liked both broths. My friend liked the clear one better. The curry tasted like Japanese-style curry, which had my heart. There was a lot of food. I made the mistake of getting dumplings and beef meatballs that were raw. I also got fish balls that were cooked. I recommend sticking with the beef and lamb slices, and skipping the proteins in the self-serve areas. There's enough protein already. Lesson learned! The fountain drinks are at the back. My friend loved the orange juice. He said that it was addictive like Tang. Oh, wow! I alternated between the Diet Coke and plum juice. They were excellent. I was happy with getting veggies, udon, and rice sticks. The mushrooms, potatoes, and sweet potatoes were fun to cook and eat. Any green veggie also worked well. We got thin slices of beef and lamb. They cooked quickly. I liked the beef more. The lamb was gamey even after you dip it in whatever sauce you have created. We felt that the pot itself was up high on the table. The depth of this pot was probably three inches. The cooking element was not sunken into the table. Trying to figure out where our food was swimming and whether it was cooked took more care than usual. We are fairly tall people and the added pot height took us by surprise. The pot also wasn't centred properly. Our curry broth was boiling away, but the clear was at a low simmer. I shifted the pot, which seemed to have made a difference to get both broths to do the same rolling boil. Sadly, one of my huge lamb dumplings wasn't cooked properly when I checked because of the weird discrepancy with the boils. I ended up putting it in a small bowl, pouring hot broth on top of it, and cooking it that way. I had already opened it up to check for doneness and didn't want to drop it back in. I felt like I overdid the cooking, but at least it was fully cooked! I somehow managed to get some dessert, which was a small section in the self-serve area. I got a small chocolate cake square, which was delicious. There were also peaches that were clearly out of a can. The honeydew melon chunks were fresh. I frankly feel that the lunch hot pot with a broth purchase would have been sufficient. I was happy to have tried mini corn cobs, enoki, and more from the dinner section. I would have been fine without it because there were so many food options. Our server asked if we wanted ice cream. It came with our meal. We were so full that we skipped it. The washrooms are in the back, just before you hit the beverages. The women's was clean. My friend paid for both of us at the front counter. I ended up paying him back when I got us back to the office. It's not bad paying roughly $35 after taxes for such a feast. We had a good time. It was a lot of food. We learned what not to do, so we'll be back to perfect our hot pot skills and try to squeeze in some ice cream! (160)

Yelp
After dining here tonight I wondered why it's been years since I've visited this location for hot pot. The hot pot dining experience didn't disappoint and had many options. It was $28.99/person plus an addition charge for the soup. The group of us all got the small clear broth. Kids under 4 are free. Happy Lamb Hot Pot is pretty much 90% self serve because majority of the food is located in the main part of the restaurant and it's buffet style. The only meats that are brought out by the cat robot or the server is the beef and the lamb. For the ice cream, you just asked a staff at the front of the restaurant. It's also rare that drinks are included in the price so there is a self-serve drink fountain where the food is located. The only negative I can think of is the broth making me thirsty. I will be back whenever I have a hot pot craving!

Yelp
Really cool Mongolian Hotpot spot. Modern and spacious space. Great for large or small parties. Food is abundant and fresh. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We tried the lamb and beef in the Spicy Broth. Both were delish.

Yelp
First time going to this location! Arrived on Saturday at 7pm and had a huge line around 30mins. The price was reasonable with $40/person incl tax and had a buffet selection of frozen meats, fishball, vegetables, drinks, sauce creation, desserts and side dishes like noodles and chicken with unlimited drinks. The quality of the lamb and beef rolls was disappointing - very dry. The wait staff also took a long time to bring the meat over. You get an ice cream at the end which was nice but overall, I felt the service and quality to be lackluster. Probably won't come back here.

Yelp
We went there for lunch during their promo. It's 21.99 including broth and drink. We got the original and tomato broth. It tasted amazing although we are pretty thirsty after. The meat quality was good. The selection for lunch is amazing. We were so satisfied and would definitely go back! They have birthday promo if you go there on your birthday. We wish we knew this earlier. The service was prompt and friendly. We also really liked the ambiance. The place was clean and comfortable. It's also kids friendly. Kids 4 and under are free!

Yelp
Great experience every time. Amazing food amazing staff. Came here for my siblings birthday and we had a great time ( there is a discount on birthdays)

Yelp
This was a super fun experience! I was craving hot pot and Happy Lamb delivered. From great service, decor, and food I'd highly recommend. There were robot waiters all over it was so funny! Ordering AYCE is done by checking off boxes in a menu that consists of 3 rounds. We went way too hard and I was super full by the end of round 2. We tried cow tongue, lamb spine, an actual pork belly, very tasty! We ordered a Yin Yang broth, one mild and one spicy. Spicy one had us dying haha! Price wasn't bad either it was around $25 per person!

Yelp
My ongoing hot pot spot in sauga cause it's the one and only spot but I like it there. The self serve station has improved and it help fasten the service. Meat qualities are great and tasty, lots of varieties. Having small cooked meal station is a nice addition for those who can't wait to cook their raw foods. My fav broth is spicy but I warn u... make sure u remove mountain of hot peppers out before u dive in or u can choke w spice

Yelp
Was here for dinner with my boyfriend as we realized all the Mongolian Sheep has rebranded to Happy Lamb so we decided to give it a try. There were no host or hostess. No one seemed to acknowledge your presents as you walked into the restaurant hence creating the illusion that they were a busy restaurant. You had to wave or speak in CHINESE to flag someone and then they didn't even know where to put you. Definitely have to agree with some of the Yelpers' comment on services. VERY SLOW service to the point where it made no sense to me. How can the tables that came after us and have a large party got their food first and we, only have 2 people, got their SOME of their food after asking for it? Also, the staff seemed like they were in Dreamland as they forgot what was asked and just walked away. We ordered something in the first round, asked about it, and still haven't gotten it by the time we were done eating. Seriously, get your sh*t straight and organize your staff better.

Yelp
This is a short review. Food was good, restaurant was clean and it wasn't busy. Highly recommend going.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
I typically do not come here and purposely write bad reviews nor do I like to. But this was probably the worst service I've ever received in my life. Starting the the beginning to the end - the service here was not it. They are incredibly rude and give you attitude for just try to eat at their establishments. The seats were stick and the sauce station was horrendous to say the least. The food itself is okay , you can go wrong with frozen stuff to put into boiling soup. But I give this a one star because of the lack of hospitality which was non existent. They would roll their eyes and even threw the plates onto our table. Save your money and go elsewhere!
google avatar

Karen Y.

Yelp
Come for the food, not the service. This isn't my first time here at this place as their spicy broth is flavorful and numbing. Although the restaurant can seat at least a hundred people, it's usually not that busy here even on the weekends. Despite that, their service is pretty darn slow and inattentive. I came in and stood in plain view while waiting for at least 10 minutes while I saw 3 waiters servicing no more than 10 tables coming in and out of the kitchen. I was not acknowledged in any way until I had to walk up and approach them. The hot pot is AYCE but you do have to pay for the pot containing the broth which comes in a large shareable size or a small individual one. They have a plain, spicy, and tomato broth to choose from but you're able to order a pot with a mix of 2. If you're looking for flavour and heat, I suggest the spicy broth. You're able to order and re-order items for a maximum of 3 rounds. Dessert items have a maximum of 1 round. I suggest ordering the lamb and beef slices as they tend to soak up the broth better than other meats. Other noteworthy items include tofu, king mushroom, watercress, and starched vegetables such as lotus root. I would highly recommend to avoid the house meatballs as they have an odd smell to them that reminds me of an unclean refrigerator.

Yelp
The category of menu is not good. Need waiting a longer time. It is not good as the Happy Lamb Hot Pot in Scarbough .

Yelp
Came here using the latest Groupon deal, in a party of three. My family is from Hong Kong, so hotpot during the winter is comfort food for us. We have it at home (or at friends' homes) often during this season. We've had various hotpot experiences dining out, including other Little Sheep locations, and lower & higher quality restaurants too. This particular Little Sheep location falls somewhere in middle of the pack. If it's your FIRST time hotpotting - go with an open mind! It's going to be very different from anything you've had AND everyone does it a little differently. :P Just make sure you mix a good sauce. Again, everyone does it a little differently - but I highly recommend using the one labelled "satay"... it's a classic! ATMOSPHERE: Slick, clean and bright interior. Average noise level. Good spacing between tables. We were there for an early weeknight dinner buffet. So the restaurant wasn't busy when we first arrived. And it being a Monday, it didn't get to full capacity at typical dinner time. There were other patrons - but it wasn't packed. This probably contributed to the better (read: quieter and less rushed vibe) atmosphere than on a Friday or weekend evening. I like that there is an option to choose a shared large pot, or individual small pots. (Induction stove-top is built into the tables - so they'll seat you in a different section according to your table/pot choice) SERVICE: Surprisingly good. I know others have commented on this, but yes, I was still shocking to experience good service. :P All our liquids were topped up regularly (soy milk, plum juice, and soup for the pot). Sauce Station was always stocked in all options as well. Would be better if there were more sauce stations - I only saw one for the whole restaurant. On a busy night, it would cause quite a queue... But otherwise, service was great. Always many servers available to answer your call, and very patient to explain how everything worked for first-time visitors. Most staff speak Mandarin and English fluently, and a few speak Cantonese as well. PRICE: $21.99 per person (extra $1 on weekend & holidays) for our weeknight meal. Drinks are extra. Free refills on plum juice and soy milk only. Broth is extra, ranging from $2.50 to 5. Sauces included. We had a Groupon, which helped. Overall, average cost for such a location, food and service. (Of course comparing to doing it at home - this will seem much more costly! But dining out for hotpot, this is average. And also: NO PREP or CLEAN UP. For those who have hotpot at home - lots of prep & clean up is involved) FOOD: In general, we enjoyed everything we ordered. First came the free side dishes: 2 cold veggie dishes and a plate of hot pork bone (similar to what you find in Korean pork bone soup). That was unexpected (and filling). Greens and veggies were good quality. We ordered multiple portions of watercress and various mushrooms. For carbs, I recommend the hand-pulled/made noodles (wide and flat; chewier in texture), and the spinach noodles (much thinner; texture is similar to soba). The sliced meats were great. We tried the beef, lamb and pork belly. Liked the quail eggs. Most of the seafood we tried were great! Especially the shrimp and mussels. Squid/calamari was a bit small, but texture and flavour was good. Skip the fish. It was very mushy and kind of fell apart as you pick it up to eat, and not much flavour at all. I would pass on the meat/fish balls. I prefer denser/chewier variety... there's was very soft and mushy. Wontons were good - the filling inside was very fresh. My piece had a whole shrimp in it that was pretty good quality. I usually don't eat wonton/dumplings in my hot pot (it's considered a filler in my house) but these were so good we were glad we got them! *** Generally, I'm a fan of dining at home for hotpot, where you can customize and have exactly what you like. BUT if I wanted to introduce someone who's new to this cuisine, I would bring them here for their first experience. - it's not too pretentious an atmosphere, and still has good food options.

Yelp
good food, nice environment. Staff is friendly and attentive, the establishment is very clean.

Yelp
This place has very attentive staff and a great overall atmosphere. They also have a large selection of vegetables and meat on their menu, so you have a lot of options to choose from. The robot serving food was pretty cool as well, this is a great place to eat!

Fernanda C.

Yelp
Loved the food and the service! I think it's very much worth the price. The buffet might get a little messy as the night goes, but nothing too crazy. Great place to ter your family.

Zhengchong G.

Yelp
Based on the Morale Village, this place is the other Chinese famous chained hot pot restaurant. We came here for lunch. The price here is a lot attractive compared to the other one. The quality of the lamb and the beef meat were very fresh. Even though the lunch menu is a lot limited than the dinner one, the selections are still adequate to meet our demand in terms of the wide variety of vegetables and all kinds of tofu products. The price for the soup base is reasonable. We ordered Yin Yang Pot, so I enjoyed the clear pot without the spice and my partner met her needs for the spicy dipping. I have to highlight the customer service at this place. I was impressed by how often these servers came to take away the empty plates and refilled the empty glass for us. They also came to inquire if we would like to order more food and provided extra napkins for the cleaning needs. I had come to this place a few times in the past. The service quality is fairly consistent.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Though the restaurant has reduced capacity the food was still good and the bots were really cute :)
google avatar

Nada S.

Yelp
I don't know why everyone is hating on this place! My friend took me here the other day, and I must say I absolutely loved it! Service was fast! Almost too fast! Our server was so pleasant and went out of his way to make sure I had a great first experience, even bringing us an assortment of appetizers that we didn't request. The soup was delicious and I left so full and happy. Love that they have an assortment of sauces you can add yourself, and the smell of the entire place was divine! I have no complaints here. I highly recommend you try it out!

Yelp
I got a Groupon for Mongolian Hot Pot for $20 off for minimum of 2 adults. I came with my kids and didn't see that fine print and was charged one of the kids as an adult price which I didn't find it fair but it was my fault for not reading the fine print. I came on a day when it was -39 degrees Celsius so perfect day for hot pot. little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot was located in a plaza in Mississauga. It's a huge restaurant where maybe only a quarter of the place was filled. But for some reason there's a huge line up. Not sure if they're doing it on purpose. We got seated and I asked for a clear Broth since my girls are picky with broth but it came with a creamy chicken broth and had these weird preserved stuff in it. The food didn't look too fresh. I lived Scarborough before and that's where you'll find the best hot pot places. I was not happy with the quality of the food. I would only give this place a 2 star. With $20 off our bill still came over $70 with tax and tip. Very pricy for 1 adult and 2 kids for mediocre hot pot. Was not impressed.

Yelp
The Restaurant is very well designed And bright inside. It's a great first impression. Service was lacking at this place. We went on a Sunday night for dinner for 3 adults. It says 23.99 per person for dinner and you Also have to pay extra $5 for choosing the big shareable pot, circled in my attached photo. You get 3 rounds per order cycle. Service was so slow that they didn't even take our sheet for the first round at all, my cousin had to drop it off to the front after waiting 30 minutes. They gave us the appetizers right away and Water with Lemon( this is used to suppress appetites haha). Waited another 30 minutes for the first round to be brought to our table. After waiting for so long, they didn't even bring us everything. They only brought the beef when we ordered 4 items on the first part. We had ordered lamb, beef, garlic chicken and garlic beef. They never came until after an hour later and re ordering on the second round. Nobody checked on us when we needed broth refill, my husband went to the front to ask for broth refill and he was ignored, my cousin went 10 mins later and they finally went and filled the broth 25 mins later. Service is really slow, might I mention again. You have to be really patient if you want to eat here, or speak Chinese. I saw the table next to us served with all their meats before we got ours an hour later. Don't come hungry or you will become "hangry" lol Dip station is my only favourite part for they have a lot of selection. Food was okay. Service was bad. Price was okay. Will I be coming back again? Probably not.
google avatar

Sadia R.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday for dinner. Soup base is very nice and you can also get a spicy soup base. Plenty of meat variety(beef slices, garlic beef, garlic chicken, lamb slices, seafood and many more) So the food was very tasty and you can make your own side sauce. Server was very nice but the only thing I don't like is the servers can't speak English we were communicating with pictures which we showed them on our phones.... that was the only thing we don't like everything else was very nice. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner get together with family and friends.
google avatar

Jimmy M.

Yelp
There was not a hostess even. No body cares about you when you stand there for 10 min even. Finally a totally not friendly waiter seated us with almost no room for chair. IT was all occupied by other customer from next table. When I pointed this out to the waiter, the answer was shocking, "you can seat at the other side of table." ... ... I would like to say, the food, dipping sauce was excellent that is the reason I give one star. I honestly do NOT recommend this place. There are hundreds of other Mongolian Hot Pot restaurants in Mississauga to
google avatar

Darren L.

Yelp
Was pretty much the only non-asian couple there so I think they are catering more towards the asian crowd which is fine. Food was ok. You make it yourself in a soup bowl but the selections of what to put in there was not all that interesting. (at least from my perspective from a guy who does not like seafood.) Staff was very very friendly and helpful regardless of my lacking skills. I would say if you like this sort of place and/or seafood and/or soup, you would really like this place.
google avatar

Ann R.

Yelp
Good spot for hot pot dished. Fast and attentive service, good selection of menu items. Seem to be very popular with Asian crowd which is a good sign. Good for groups although this changed slightly in the COVID era due to capacity restrictions. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I've been here twice with my boyfriend. Saturday April 6th we went for his birthday dinner and half way into our dinner we saw two roaches crawling behind me. Immediately we told the waitress and she wasn't even shocked about it. She discreetly killed one and the other one got away underneath the walls. All we could do was imagine if two roaches roam freely during the day in a BUSY place, imagine the place at night, that place must be CRAWLING with roaches on the walls, food, furniture etc *cringe*. Needless to say, we stopped eating mid way and left! Although my bf and I like this place, we will never go back after that.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
Overly priced for a very poor experience from the staff members. When we arrived, we were not acknowledge for almost 15 minutes or more. My group of friends and I thought about going next door for Hot Pot instead of sitting down here. My friend had to make a subtle scene to grab their attention. The waiter had it out for me since I kept asking for our missing items. He became passive aggressive towards me and it showed. All of my friends noticed. They take cash, credit and debit I believe. Make sure to check groupon before eating here, they usually have deals!

Wader L.

Yelp
Food was good, service was good, the interior was nice and clean. They even have a cute cat robot that brings you the food. I reserved ahead of time so didn't have to wait. It's a buffet so you can order as many rounds of lamb, beef, food, etc. as you want, just be careful to not order more than you can eat or they will charge you for food waste. So far this was the best hot pot place I've had in downtown Mississauga, the value was alright so overall I can recommend it if you like to eat hot pot.
google avatar

Karen G.

Yelp
We have been here lots of times before it changed it's name. Food is the same. Still good. However, the service last friday night totally sucked. We waited so long for the food to come. I know the place was really busy that night but that was really not an excuse. At the end of it, not everything we ordered came. Dessert came quickly though. I guess they couldn't wait to get rid of us.
google avatar

Rochelle A.

Yelp
Broth was good and I thought the quality of their meats, especially the beef was good. However, service was a bit slow and they didn't take reservations when we went but when we walked in for a table of 7, hostess looked shocked and annoyed, almost like we inconvenienced her. The little robot server was fun though.

Eric G.

Yelp
Horrible service from the start. There's no concept of greeting and or acknowledging their customers. We waited for some sort of interaction with the staff but none even bothered. We had to grab their attention in order to be seated. The food came out fresh and fast, quality of food hit or miss varying on the items ordered. Drinks are not complimentary unlike their counterpart in Markham. Overly priced for what the experience we received.

Yelp
Slow Service, Good Food, and Affordable. If you don't mind the waiting a little longer for food/table. Then this place works out just right. I reccomend the lunch over the dinner, for one it's more empty during lunch periods, the food is about the same price difference included. Service is almost always slow and understaffed, but servers are always nice things never get refilled and the paper trial to order food with causes so much confusion that sometimes you just don't get your order or you get someone else's. Food tastes good! Quality Is medium, and maybe 5 options for meat and lots of vegetable options but the price can show for it. It's always a good idea to order lots at first and never have to order for a while. I do recommend at least trying this AYCE at least once if you live in the area!

Yelp
Been here a few times and honestly this place is a hit and miss. This place is usually fairly busy even during the weekday but I find their service to be hit and miss as well. Most of the time we get neglected and our food comes out slow and the portion does not reflect what we order on the menu. Sometimes the meat is very nice fresh looking and there are times they look like they have been sitting for a while. This visit was one of the better visits I've experienced with fresh meat and service was pretty good. They also have plenty of sauce options from the self serve sauce station located at 2 different spots of the restaurant. I do like how you can have individual pots or a big pot with a split to share. There are also few different soup base options like regular broth, spicy broth, tomato based broth, I usually go with the spicy and tomato split pot. There are plenty of meat option, dumpling option, vegetable options, soy options, there is enough options for even the pickiest eater. There is plenty of space in the place and most tables have multiple burners so pots won't be an issue. Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time and come hungry.

Yelp
The service here is terrible. The restaurant is only half occupied and the line is still out the door. They need to hire more staff ASAP. (1/5 for service) However, the food here is quite good and I always come out happy and full! The restaurant is also decorated quite nicely. This place would be awesome if they hired twice the number of staff and cleaned up the tables so people can sit there instead of having leftovers all over the place.

Yelp
My sisters love to go here cause it's All You Can Eat. We had to wait in line for a bit but once we got our table the service is pretty fast. We ordered the half and half soup - one clear and the other tomato soup. Omg it's sooo good and with all the different sides and ingredients to choose from it's so good. I love how we can experiment with the sauces to make your own signature sauce. This is also a good place for a date cause you are sharing food and it's a pretty cute setting. I'll be back again soon

Yelp
My first time trying Mongolian style hot pot! Similar to Korean bbq, with hot plate in front of you and a menu of ingredients to choose from. You have 3 rounds in each you can order any number of toppings, including meat and vegetables. We lasted two rounds. The soup base is offered in spicy or non-spicy. I wish I had tried non-spicy now that I think back. The spicy soup contains alot of cloves and red chillies, so not for the faint of heart! Among ingredients, you can add, mushrooms daikon, spinach, sweet potato, Chinese dumplings to name a few! Way too much to finish in one sitting. It's kind of all you can eat but they cap the rounds of orders you can make here. I enjoyed adding mushrooms and lamb slivers to my soup, "Cooking" is easy you just add your ingredients into the pot and let it slowly boil on the hot plate. Not bad but wish I had eaten more! Recommend for those who are into hot pot cooking!

Yelp
Fantastic Hot Pot spot! This establishment is very spacious with tons of seating, with wonderful decor and ambience. It was our first time having Hot Pot, and we were really impressed the service and the mechanics of the meal! We got two different types of broth, spicy and classic. And the array of fillings, toppings and sauces you can get amazed us! I really appreciated the amount of quail eggs our server gave us, since I kept asking for more lol. I'd really recommend this restaurant if you want to spend a good amount of time maybe catching up with an old friend, or maybe a first date to get to know someone. Definitely do not come here if you want a quick in-and-out meal. You'll spend a fair bit of time at this restaurant but it's well worth it for the food and the experience!

Yelp
Came here for the first time with about 5 other people. I was the sole vegetarian in the bunch, so I was a little worried about how my experience would go. Veggies have no need to worry here, staff and menu is very accommodating. They do not have non-animal meat broth. What they do for you is have a plain water base, but include a lot of spices to flavor the broth. That mixed with all the stuff you add makes a really tasty meal. Here they have the half pot option where you can share with someone even if they eat meat! I have never been to a hot pot dinning experience because, well, really hard to share stuff with the people I go out to eat with. Had a great time here. For the veg options, there is tons of stuff to have. There is a little sauce bar where you can go up to it and choose your own condiments to add to your meal like fresh garlic - cilantro - green onions - sugar - soy sauce - chili oil - ect. Prices are reasonable, and the servers are very nice and always come by at a good time to get empty dishes and give water refills.

Yelp
Boiled meat It all starts good but after a while all your have is a big pot of boiling fat . It even looks a bit nasty . If you order the hot you get so many chilli skins that you have to pick the hard shells out of you soup. They charge you for drink not like other hot pot places that don't. For about $22.00 a person for boiled meat no thanks very over priced. If you a big Eater good luck to you they will avoid you table after a while. They do have great decor I gave them one star for that.

Yelp
I have been to Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot two times now and both experiences were decent. My favourite item on their menu is the shrimp as it was very fresh. The homemade fish balls and shrimp balls were not very good however. They fell apart easily and were mushy in texture. Everything else such as the beef, lamb, pork and veggies were good, but typical. The service in my opinion was exceptional for a Chinese place, as the servers were very polite and helpful. Food came out quickly and our drinks were always refilled without having to ask. However, the place was very empty during my last visit, so that may explain why I had such attentive service. They were also doing a promotion where you get bottomless soy milk and plum juice for free if you pay in cash. I thought that was a pretty sweet deal!

Yelp
Dreadful snow storm here in Canada calls for a warm bowl of soup and that's when hot pot comes into action. We order the yin and yang broth- one large pot , half spicy and half regular broth. There was a huge selection of sliced meats like beef, lamb, pork , chicken . The broth itself was very flavourful and would very much warm you up. There was a variety of vegetables and noodles as well. There we even a dipping sauce station where you can help yourself and mix your own chilli sauce with peppers and green onions to your liking. Dinner price was $21.00 and was very worth it. Here's how it works: 1) order the broth - spicy or regular or a large pot of half spicy , half regular . 2)pick your sliced meats - beef, lamb, chicken, pork. 3)you have three rounds to pick any assortment of vegetables , noodles , wonton, meat balls , tripe, and more to go in your broth. It's all up to you. Overall it was a great experience. The place is huge and can seat up to 210 customers.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place for our first time! There were enough simple options for the hot pot ingredients (we got chicken, spinach, broccoli, potato, beef, daikon, dumplings). We ordered garlic chicken and garlic beef but the soup was garlicky enough on its own. We should've ordered the regular chicken and beef. The chicken broth was very salty but delicious and savoury. The spicy chicken broth had a very deep spice to it that just hits the back of your throat. It's not a burning spicy, more of a flavourful spicy. Loved it when I mixed in a little more regular chicken broth. Lots of chilli pieces in the broth that kind of got in the way when I was drinking the broth. Service was slow. The waiter rarely came to check on us and we had to ask for tea and more buns a couple times in a row. I LOVED the sweet buns and seaweed appetizers. Delicious. The pork was so tender and flavourful. I would come here again! The price was reasonable at lunch time but I would make sure I come with 5+ people or people who have a big appetite!

Yelp
It's my second time here and still quite impressed! This time around I came for lunch and paid for the lunch menu. They give a choice of whether you want to pay for the lunch or dinner menu. Lunch menu includes: all veggies and meat (lamb, beef, garlic beef & chicken). Dinner menu includes: all veggies, all meat options above and all seafood. Your options double when choosing the dinner menu. The soft broth has quite a kick to it but very delicious! And FYI it's got TONS of chilies! They give you 3 rounds of ordering...it may not sound a lot but it is! Once you get the feel of how much food you get during the first round you'll know what to order for the next! Ummmm white rice on the side is FREE! But it was cold and kinda overcooked but whatevssss! And they have a "sauce station" where you can make combinations or grab just one to add more flavour to your food! DELISH! Will be back again!

Yelp
free parking. access to public transportation. I didn't notice bike wracks but the restaurant is located in a plaza I'm sure there's bike wracks near the restaurant. if you're looking for an authentic Mongolian restaurant this is definitely a great place to go. If this is your first time... there's a lot of rules to know. So basically when you first walk in there's no hostest so you can walk up to the counter and ask the staff for a table. Then you pick the raw food from the green columns and red (menu) choose from meat, seafood, noodles, tofu, vegetables.. the broth pot will come in a few minutes after sitting down. you can choose from spicy broth to regular or half and half. once the raw food comes out you can cook it while that's cooking in the hot pot there's a table with sauces you can also have on the side and dunk your cooked meat in. the staff doesn't explain jack to you nor are they fluent in English. I hope this helps first timers! This is a buffet style restaurant please don't waste food order what you can eat and they bring it to you. dinner for four was 130.00$ bucks for me. no alcoholic beverages
