Sloans

Sloans is recognized as Glasgow's oldest pub. Opened in 1797 It⁰ has a very comfortable rustic bar,an open courtyard and a historic first floor ballroom.It has a big selection of wines beers and spirits. service is great and staff are friendly unfortunately didnt see the ballroom cos its upstairs which are the enemy due to an arthritic condition. This is a very unique slice of Glasgow's history. A must visit for any tourist.🤗

Not tasted food yet, but going back so I will defenetly update 😋 Taking Husband for the legendary Macaroni Cheese! So keep posted! I went with a friend, I had Latte and a Rum, service was really good, all ages, card only payments, plenty of drink and food options. Staff were friendly, plenty entertainment on, something for everyone! Defenetly worth a visit.

We came to this restaurant on our last day in Glasgow. I'm so very happy we found it! The food was fantastic. We had the chicken strips, macaroni and cheese, and steak and Guiness pie. Everything was bang- on. The service was great. As we were about to leave, she said that a group of musicians were about to start so we should move into the bar. That truly made the night and ended our trip on a high!!

Full of history, this is a jack of all trades! Great pub, great smoking area, offers lots of events - such as ceilidh every Friday and film nights! Historic photos of Glasgow around the walls, and looked like amazing food too. Haggis and pork sausage roll - yes please!

Just noticed this place today so thought we'd try it out and definitely not disappointed staff were friendly and helpful restaurant is very clean and traditional with old Glasgow pubs /restaurant food was lovely and fresh if you like mac cheese there's a big choice of different types so I'd definitely recommend this place to try plus where else can you get a DEEP FRIED TEA CAKE

Really cool spot in Glasgow. The fish and chips was a really nice portion, and the fish itself nicely cooked. The macaroni was a solid "restaurant mac and cheese" with a clove of crumble toppings. Good local beers, and some musicians played folk music at just the right volume. Well worth a visit and not hard to get to in the city center.

The Mac and cheese. Whatever you’re thinking of ordering, make sure it’s the Mac and cheese. The pub itself is lovely, the staff are great and there’s loads of history in the building. The Sunday lunch was fabulous but honestly… it’s all about the Mac. It’s on another level. They say they’re famous for it, and I can absolutely see why. Am I considering driving three hours just for the Mac and cheese? Yes. Yes, I am. Incase you haven’t guessed, I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese.

Had my mum's 80th birthday in the private room on the second floor, food was lovely, staff we're excellent especially craig who went out his way to make everything just right, would definitely recommend 😀
