Niigata Katsudon Tarekatsu - Hibiya Store

Nice quality Katsudon restaurant. I like the meat quality and big portion of soup. However, they didn’t offer extra salad or rice like other place do. Understandably they are busy during lunchtime but felt like they were kicking me out as soon as I finished the meals.

Words can no express the joy this meal brought on me. A ratatouille moment. A religious experience. If you do nothing else in Tokyo, please visit and have the best katsudon you'll ever have.

They serve delicious and large serving katsudon that is reasonably priced. The tea that they serve is also a good pair to their food. It could get crowded during lunch time so customers might need to queue for a bit.

Amazing food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone that is going to Tokyo. Probably my favorite katsu restaurant that we had in our trip to japan. Going back next year and this will be a stop.

Came here 2 days in a row after the first time being so good. Pork was so light and crispy not heavy oil smell or heavy when eating it. The service is amazing the chef was so hospitable. Small little restaurant seats roughly 10 people and it’s so comfy and warming to see people pour their heart and soul into amazing food and service!

I ordered the ヒレカツ定食 (hirekatsu teishoku) which was placed in front of me in just a couple of minutes after sitting at a counter seat. As the shops name suggests the tonkatsu came with tare (sauce) and basically melted on my tongue releasing a taste that will be hard to best.

A small Katsudon restaurant. Their pork fillet or pork chop are hammered to very thin and lightly breaded. The pork is very soft and fried just right. I personally prefer fillet. Vegetables and shrimp katsu are delicious too. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect! The pork was on the thinner side, but the vegetables were really good. Owner was very very friendly ❤️
