Rayon d'Or Paris Châtelet : Magasin bagage et valise

Due to or love of secondhand clothes, (vintage shops), we seem to always end up here, they have an awesome range of bags, the staff are always friendly, and the products are good value.

I've never encountered such a dissatisfied and disinterested salesperson in Paris. We practically had to beg for an answer. Other than that, the products in the store are decent, but it's hard to get a straight, well-formed answer.

Good collection of suitcases, bags for every price

You went to Paris and bought more than you could fit in your luggage? Yeah, me too. It's okay. It's literally why there are so many places like this in the tourist areas of the city. I walked in and told the employee what I was looking for and about how much I was looking to spend. He presented me with several options and I was out the door in a few minutes. The suitcase held up well on the trip home and I expect it will last for future trips.

The visit at the store was alright but the bags don't look new. Also, the lady told me that the guarantee card is very important and that she's putting it in the bag. Only that she either didn't (on purpose or otherwise) - and I realized that upon reaching back home. I went back in the evening with pictures of the bag, but they didn't give me the guarantee card and said they can't do anything without seeing the bag. I felt like I was cheated. I'd avoid this store at all costs and recommend people visiting the Samsonite store nearby or just doing an uber to the stores further out from the center.

Good choices although the store clerk kept saying that polypropylene is better than polycarbonate and kept trying to sell us polypropylene luggage. Do your own research and decide how accurate that is. I don't think he was right about that. Edit: Not sure why the owner is responding to me as if they aren't directly involved with the seller/are the seller.
