Quite rare to find a coffee shop like this that opens early! Been here several times and the drinks and service have been top notch. It's generally packed inside so YMMV if you can secure a spot. Come early enough, and there will be plenty around. The music being played by these gigantic vintage speakers further bring out the uniqueness of this cafe too. If you prefer a quieter environment, the seats in the far back are your best bet.

Rooms is one of the BEST cafes in Toronto for interior and vibes. It’s comfortable, modern, and unique it’s hard not to want to sit for a bit and get some work done, this is the best part of rooms. I’ve been twice and gotten an iced matcha latte and they were polar opposites in flavour. The first time I went it was very grassy which was to my liking. Most recently, it was quite bad, watery tasting as the matcha was flavourless. It is a shame the drink has been inconsistent in my visits. Staff are chill, maybe too chill? Sometimes it is a bit difficult to get their attention, one time they didn’t even talk to me just waited for me to order. I don’t mind the relaxed service and I like it at times but I’d be lying saying it’s warm and welcoming. 3/5 flat, atmosphere carries the rating

Ts is some peak performative male cafe I rate it. Dirty pistachio latte was surprisingly really delicious, I actually think pistachio pairs really well with the bitterness of coffee. They had a lot of super cozy seating in the back, but it was completely packed. The patio in front gave real Montreal vibes and I had a nice yap session. Also everyone around was fitted up.

I love it. Stepping into the space can instantly transport you somewhere else. For me, it’s back to Tokyo. For you, it might be someplace else from your memories. Super cozy, and the drinks always hit.

This is one of my favorite cafes to chill and/or study in. Their matcha latte is one of my favorites, but the vibe is what makes it special. Their music choice is so good!

At first I thought this place was called music and coffee when I saw the sign in the window, until my sister told me it's a coffee shop with multiple locations called rooms lol. I love the ambience here, it's very cozy with the dark wood paneling and very well thought out interior design. Lots of chairs and table options to sit at, it's great for people looking for find a place to read and do work or catch up with someone. They have a pretty hardcore sound system in here, so there is moderately loud music playing but it lended to the nice ambience here. I got the pourover coffee, maybe I just didn't like that type of roast, but it was a bit on the sour side - I know some roasts are like that though. would love to try their espresso drinks next time!

This Rooms location is such an aesthetically pleasing coffee shop with a live dj & lots of room in the back area if you want to stay longer to do work as the front area is meant to be a non laptop space. The coffee shop is quieter in the back as well as the music doesn’t go all the way to that back area. I tried their vanilla latte (my go to) & it was good; up to my personal standards. I’ve also tried the Bacon Egg n Cheese Sandwich & the Sausage Egg n Cheese Sandwich. Both were also good and filling if you’re looking for a bite to eat as well. They so have seating outside if you prefer to be outdoors

- One of the chairs was really wobbly, as if I’d fall apart any second. A potential insurance hazard. - Got to-go cups when I said I was eating in. - The matcha latte was delicious, albeit slightly on the pricier side. - Atmospheric and cozy
