Park is surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants. In the middle you will find pond with swans. Tango, salsa- bachata or one man band bring you great atmosphere. If you're not in a mood than by night tarot prophets will dream your destiny for you. What a beautiful park in the middle of cdmx chaos! The gardening is exquisite and completely manicured. The city definitely takes some great pride in this park. Not only the beautiful landscaping this park has multiple dog parks, outside gym equipment, playgrounds.

Probably one of my favourite places in CDMX! I live for the quiet zone where you have to stay silent and you can sit on egg-seats, listen to the meditation music and lose yourself in a book. I wish we could bottle that feeling of bliss!

Beautiful park at the heart of Hipódromo. Over the weekends there are always activities for the whole family. During the week you can chill out at Foro Lindbergh and enjoy people watching or dog watching. Can’t miss spot!

Oh I love this place. Thats not a dog park its a zoo, with lots of salsa and hiphop dancers and taichi practices around it. Occasionally the trumpet is good as well.

I love Parque Mexico! It's definitely one of my favorite parks in Mexico City. Great for a nice stroll, working out (in the gym area), a salsa lesson or just people watching. There's so much happening in this park - especially on the weekends.

One of my fav parks in cdmx, there's so much greenery you feel like you're in a jungle, there is a huge activity space and you can often find ppl doing anything physically active related, also has many pockets of really calm and serene places def check out if you're in the neighborhood

We spent a few hours walking around Condesa a few days ago when were in Mexico City. Parque Mexico is really great - large, beautiful (so many trees, so much shade), and such a great asset to the neighborhood. Definitely stop by for a stroll through the park if you're in the area!

The park was really cute to walk around and it's clean. It's in the Condesa neighborhood. You'll see tons and tons of foreigners here, and tons of dogs. The day was beautiful and there were salsa classes going on. Vendors were selling the traditional chip snacks and even a coffee stand! There was a massage stand set-up in the park and wow, the 2 employees were busy. There were 3 people ahead of me so I had to wait. One was doing massages and the other guy was doing adjustments. I don't know the qualifications of the guy who was doing adjustments so I only opted for a 20 minute massage for $9 USD :) what a steal! If you have a couple hours to stop here, there's a lot to see, good place to people watch and walk around.

In A Nutshell: -Parque Mexico is a big park. -It's encircled by the popular Amsterdam oval walking path, which was a former horse rack track. -This park is especially lively on the weekend. -You'll find all sorts of street vendors selling handmade dolls, flowers & plants. -You'll even find vendors selling puppies & kittens for adoption. Overall, it is a very busy park w/ plenty of things to see.

Parque Mexico is a respite within a big city. The moment you walk inside you feel like you're walking in the gardens of a queen with fountains, trails and lots of seating. There's a large playground that our five-year-old daughter loved. Next to it is an adult workout area. In the evenings, vendors sell balloons, etc.

Before our five-day trip to Mexico City, my husband Matt B. and I--die-hard basset enthusiasts--had been given to understand that basset hounds were extremely popular with the local dog lovers. A friend had spent a month in CDMX and told me he'd seen one or two bassets every other day. An astonishing claim that had my hopes raised to almost unreasonable levels (in L.A., where we live, we see maybe one in the wild every four to six months; more often, it's a basset we already know). When another friend confirmed the popularity of bassets, and noted that people often took their dogs to Parque México, Matt and I decided that we had to go to this park. We made three separate visits and spotted three basset hounds: a resounding success. Parque México is a nice park for other reasons, too. It's a big, beautiful place with tons of greenery and several different points of interests; duck pound with fountain, an open air theater, a gated dog run. There were calm, winding paths that took us through, a bit muddy on a rainy day but otherwise very pleasant. It felt like a friendly, cheerful place, with lots of families out enjoying some fresh air. The park was elliptical, and we also enjoyed walking the oval of restaurants and businesses in the surrounding streets. It was all just very harmonious and lovely, an idyllic place to stroll around. And, of course, there were bassets. We met two--Floyd and Lorenza--as they were leaving the park. (We spotted them from a block away, and then I ran to greet them like a psycho--I'd been practicing my Spanish and went in panting, "Podemos acariciar a su basset hound, por favor?") The third, a mischievous guy named Chase, we spotted at the dog run. He came right up to me--my hand had recently been dripping with taco juice, and I think he smelled it from several feet away. Parque México is an ideal place for dog spotting--we had a fantastic time on our basset hound safari. But even if we'd only seen one, or God forbid, no bassets, we still would've enjoyed exploring this wonderful city park.

This entire park smells like piss. But also, there's a dog run. Possibly related. There also seemed to be a sanitation truck suctioning up sewage while we were there, so that's nice. There are also some food vendors nearby. People selling crisps, and also fruit by the kilo.

Parque Mexico is a beautiful park in the Hippodrome/Condesa neighborhood. It's larger than the neighboring Parque Espana, and is full of great places to take a walk, ride a bike, or go strolling with the dogs! This park is full of all kinds of water features, like little ponds and bridges, which were out of commission at the time of my visit. The park is home to the bike rental kiosks, which seemed to get a lot of use. Also, surrounding the park are many great places to grab a drink or a bite to eat. Surrounding this park are many very busy streets, so be sure to watch where you're going! The park felt safe, as there were cops rolling by on a constant basis, actively pulling people over for traffic infractions. Most of the parks in Mexico are laid out in a traditional method, with straight lines running the length of parks- however this one is much more natural, with paths that curve and meander around past works of art, cool fountains, and sculptures to various strange things. Be sure to check this park out- it's a nice place, and there's lots to see and do.

I walked through this park so many times and had such a good time at each one. I love how the art is mixed in with all the trees. I loved how much attention was paid to the puppies. It does such a wonderful job of mixing the natural with the engineered.
