the blinis were not small pancakes, but just toasts ... little food for the price charged. The duck risotto was tasty.

Outstanding--one of the best meals I have had in Rio. Located in Jardim Botanico, away from the tourists. Started off with couvert which contained homemade focaccia and roasted garlic--excellent. Upon my waiters recommendation I had the lasagne, which could have been the best I have ever had. Washed it down with a glass of Malbec and finished it off with an Apple Tartine with rich vanilla ice cream. With tip, came to about $42-44 US....need to come back for their famous 11 hour marinated chicken next time. Owner of this French-Mediterranean bistro also operates Cafe Candalai, cafe/epicure, just up the street.

Lorenzo was a great restaurant, with excellent food and a cozy atmosphere with exceptionally nice staff. It was my absolute favorite restaurant in the Jardim Botânico Neighborhood but unfortunately closed its doors in late 2019.

The atmosphere was quite lovely. The service impecable. The bread and garlic plate was savory. The main dishes were all tasteless. All five of us in our group tried each other's dishes and we all agreed that the flavor was severely lacking. You could find a tastier meal at Olive Garden. I do not recommend this place.

This is a very charming bistro located on a small tree lined street in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood. It has a nice covered deck on the ground floor, where you can sit outside. I don´t recommend the third floor deck, it feels empty and unwelcoming. The food is usually quite good with some crass misses, last time I ate there I had their Moules à la Provençale it was very tough and rubbery and their french fries are the worst ... dry and mealy. The menu has all the traditional dishes you might find in a Parisian bistro. Service is pleasant and very attentive, enhancing the experience.
