For reference, I take my fish and chips seriously. I’ve just had the best cod and chips of my life. Amazing fish, firm inside, crispy outside. Perfect chips. Cleanly pickled onion. Do yourself favour and get to Deal.

Rude!! It was too much trouble to tell us how many pieces of scampi were in a portion to be able to judge how much to order. We had explained we wanted to sit and eat but after we ordered we were told the restaurant was now full and we could only get take away. Very disappointed as we had been recommended this restaurant by a local we had met on our walk. Shocked!! Another customer even took the time to come out and tell us how rude the they had been to us and I’m grateful as I’m not someone who usually would post such a negative review but feel very upset by how myself and my family were treated

We ate our meal in their restaurant area, good service, tasty F+C, the room was a little away from the fryers so it wasn't too noisy. My only criticism is that the 'cider' on the menu is a can of Strongbow and I'd say £5 is a bit steep for that!

Really lovely fish and chip shop in Deal and recommend it. Fish was excellent and the batter was delicious. I had the small chips and large fish and it was a tough finish, so maybe you could get medium fish small chips. Great place to get fish and chips when visiting. I didn't get a photo as I was soooo hungry I ate it too soon but got a snap of the inside and you see the excellent fish at the right of the photo

Superb fish and chips, the best I've had in absolutely ages eaten out of proper chip paper on the beach a few feet away in a summer's evening - perfect. Everything cooked to order, fresh as can be with a good batter (not too thick) and very good chips too. Friendly customer service. Cash only. Really recommend, the queues outside tell you all you need to know.

Small chips are literally small. Prob about the size of a small crisp Packet and a piece of ( large) Cod @£9.00 looked like it had been cut in half. Good quality fish but most deffo overpriced for the portion size and a bit of a challenging staff member….
