Hearth and Hill - Sugar House

We are so happy we have this place a try. The location is great, right in the heart of Sugarhouse. Their food was outstanding. It tasted so fresh and hit all the right notes. I also appreciate how they sent a text before hand explaining where to park, and how to get it validated. One of our favorite restaurants ever is Urban Hill (Downtown SLC), which is owned by the same group. I can now confidently say that both of these restaurants are 10 out of 10. Give this place a try, you’ll be happy you did.

Super cool atmosphere and incredible food. The cheddar biscuits, gyoza, and truffle mac n cheese were all incredible. the biscuits came with a honey butter which was beyond good. Servers are very friendly and on top of things. I orderd the smash burger and while it wasn't a true smash burger, it was still delicious! The fries were perfectly salted and classic crispy shoestring. Dessert wise, the cookie skillet is unbelievable and worth every penny! Very reasonably priced and would highly reccomend!

This place is proof that talent, flavor, and good looks can exist in one human. The food? Unreal. Thoughtful, fresh, and clearly made with skill and passion. The chef? Cute enough to distract you from your plate (briefly). Highly recommend!

Such a Beautiful restaurant and loved the ambiance. Went for my bday lunch and it was excellent. I had the Smash Burger without the bun, and the soup and it was great! We also had the biscuits with the honey butter and the root appetizer.. So good! Finished with the chocolate cake. It was really amazing. Loved the place!

I live right next-door this restaurant. I’ve been there once before and had their breakfast burrito, which was amazing! Decided to take my son here while he was visiting town and did not disappoint. I had the eggs Benedict Florentine, which means no meat and we shared the bacon. And he got the hamburger. Our meals were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was very, very busy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was not any long waits between getting our food getting our check, etc. The pancakes went by on a plate to another table and they look so yummy! I will definitely be coming back here again. I might try to go during the week because the weekend was very loud and busy. It didn’t interrupt our meal, but it was loud so just FYI.

I have never eaten anything like the pork tenderloin - incredible! I’ll be thinking about that amazing combination of flavors for a while. Definitely recommend that dish. My wife got the birria tacos and loved them. The biscuits were a tasty starter with or without the honey butter

Boyyyyyyy this place aiighhhttttt - the interior design I would rate a solid 7/10; they really should've gone with better lights to a sorb some of the space. The food though 8.5/10 I had the fish something and my wife had the burger. It was delicious but man I was still hungry. I want that whole filet. The burger was muy deliciouso as well. We upgrade to truffle fries... Ehh wouldn't do that again. They were wack. Last but certainly not least.... The bathroom - 8.75/10; eloquant, and peaceful. Really just makes you want to push out a log, so you have more room for the burger and fries. Service was 10/10 I said it was my birthday (it wasn't) for the free dessert and we ended up getting dessert because she fooled us. I thought she wasn't going to give my free dessert but she waited until we ordered and boom! Two desserts! The birthday one was really good (8.75 /10) but the one with rum and fire was mediocre maybe a 6/10 (+0.5 for the experience of FIRE) but the taste was meh

Definitely my favorite restaurant in SLC! Great service, amazing food and good prices. The staff always treats you with so much kindness and attention, and they really make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. It’s one of those places where you feel at home every time you come back, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed
