Soda Tipica Las Palmeras

This was a delicious place for lunch and dinner! I received my order quickly and the juice was so refreshing after a day in the sun! Great prices, beautiful view, and a monkey even stopped by to say hi!

I ate here at least once every day while I was in Montezuma. Amazing food, good service, good prices, nice views from the balcony, and good cocktails. I loved the casados and quesadillas.

Incredibly cheap place to get food. The food isn’t absolutely mindblowing, but you’re definitely getting good food for your money. The smoothies were delicious and I’d definitely recommend getting the lemonade. We had a few geckos sitting above us on the ceiling and there were some droppings on the table during our dinner, which kind of rubbed us the wrong way. The atmosphere in general wasn’t lovely and the chairs were plastic. But again the food was good and it’s really not that expensive. So I’d recommend coming here for a quick and cheap meal.

We had a very good dinner here during our one night stay in Montezuma. I had the steak casado and my wife had the fish fillet. Both the taste and presentation of both were fantastic. Smoothies were also great. Finally, the prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely eat here again!

Beach front location. Really good sea food. The best margaritas in Costa Rica. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this soda. Reservations are not required, but pre-order the specials.

We just spent eight days in Costa Rica, and this was our favorite place that we ate! The food was so simple, fresh, and delicious. I had the Curry Mahi Mahi and my husband had the Garlic Shrimp. Both plates were soooo good! The charred garlic was perfection. We loved the location, also. We were able to walk right across the street and spend time at the ocean before we left. The service and drinks were also great. Can't wait to go back one day.

If you want good homemade typical costa rican food or homemade pasta and quesadillas… look no further. This Soda does an amazing job at making yummy quesadillas but even better seafood pasta, it had me drinking up the sauce at the end. Their selection of refreshing juices, drinks and cocktails is truly amazing and by far one of the most refreshing selection around
