"Comedic Magic at Rio Penn & Teller is one of the longest running shows in Las Vegas , and these guys have been cracking up audiences with their antics at Rio Las Vegas for the entire tenure of their run. Penn & Teller is a comedic magic show featuring the boisterous Penn Jillette and the petite Teller, who doesn't speak a word throughout the performance. There are a few magic shows in Las Vegas, but this is one of the best because there's always something going on that takes audience members by surprise. One of the most interesting tricks happens when Penn has you believing that you're getting an insider's peek on how a particular magic trick works. Don't blink or your sure to miss something when you watch Penn & Teller. By AFAR Traveler , AFAR Local Expert"

11 Best Shows to See in Las Vegas | Condé Nast Traveler

"Penn and Teller is the longest-running magic show in town and though their act is well-honed, it's never boring. Penn is the talker, his schtick is sarcasm (occasionally sounding off on politics and religion), while mute Teller is the performer. The duo like to let their audiences in on some of the tricks of the magic trade (and put down some of the “showier” magicians in town) but their own illusionist stunts will leave you scratching your head." - Juliana Shallcross

Watched this for the first time in 2021 after years of seeing them in action on TV. It was a mesmerizing experience then, and it was even more mesmerizing as I went back to relive the experience last month. In the last four years, they have only grown sharper, wittier, and even more creative with their performances. I have always been a fan of the combination of storytelling and silent illusion they present, and this year they took it to a whole new level by introducing an even higher degree of apparent uncertainty and randomness to their pieces. Do not miss this if you are around.

After 50 years you might think these guys are phoning it in, especially with the affordable ticket prices. Instead, the show was well paced, funny, and far beyond our expectations. There is a lot of active and passive audience participation. No one is shamed or made the fool. It’s just all great fun for everyone not sensitive to a few “f-bombs”. We left with our jaws on the floor! Skip the $150 show and see these guys. You won’t regret it.

We sat in row b seats seats 1 to 5. Let me preface these remarks with the fact I LOVE live music. They had a Jazz duo before the show and it was nice. We were seated literally 10 feet from the piano. I was shocked to find the pianist stayed and continued to play during the show. The problem is the Piano overpowered the content. I struggled to understand Penn's set up for the first trick. My point is here that these are higher priced seats, and you cant enjoy the show because the Piano covers up Penns remarks. So if you do pick these seats understand you will have a hard time hearing much of what Penn is saying. I heard the lady behind me say "why are they even playing the piano, I cant hear what he's saying" So I wasn't the only one who was disappointed. I would definitely go back to the show but I would sit on the same seats, but on the Left side fo the stage. Penn and Teller are very entertaining. I wish their audio department would provide a wedge speaker on the apron of the stage to balance the loud level of the piano. I'm sure that only a small group of seats are affected. I asked people after the show seated in seats 6 to 8 if they had troubles and they said no. As an audio engineer I truly believe this is easily fixed. And perhaps the production staff is aware of this issue.

It was surreal, seeing famous/celebrity personalities in person and close enough to the stage (thanks to my wonderful husband)! Penn and Teller put on a fabulous show! They had me on my toes for every set and trick they delivered! Corny, but I think it was the most mind-blowing trick to me. Teller turned coins to fish 🤯, well done!

Great show that blends creativity of magic tricks, and each of them leading into the next one. Standup comedy with big personality, and gets whole audience to be engaged

Review for hearing aide wearers... Amazing theater and performance. Penn and Teller were masterful The seating is all very good, albeit some areas maybe better for hearing aide users The acoustics are ok (even with hearing aides) the volume when they spoke was fine if the music wasn't playing I would recommend being more in the center or middle third and back . We were front row, right side facing the stage. It's a great seat but there is no monitor visible On the right side you also have the organist/music director who plays frequently prior to and during the show. For hearing aide wearers, It was a little bit difficult to hear the spoken audio with the music I couldn't find a Widex Moment(r) app setting that balanced the music and spoken audio. I suggest sitting more in the center of the stage. The theater was large, good comfortable seats. Easy to find in the hotel and had ample free parking available by the theater on Rio property. Choose a great seat and enjoy an amazing show

We love watching Fool Us on TV so seeing Penn & Teller perform in person was added to our bucket list. The show was a lot of fun and a pure delight. It was very funny and both magician's personalities really shone through during the performance. The magic acts were great. We'd seen some of them on the TV show already but that in no way diminished how fun it was to see them live. Penn & Teller did a great job of including audience members in the show, which added another dimension to attending the show live. If you're headed to Las Vegas, add this to your itinerary. You'll be so glad you did!

What a fun show!! Not a bad seat in the house. Clear vision of the stage withdrew monitors. They are very entertaining and the magic tricks are pretty amazing!!
