Food was great. It really has that homemade taste. If you go try the pistachio ricotta cake it was AMAZING!! The pastas also superb they were also super busy for Christmas Eve but that didn’t change the taste at all

Always great service and food. Very authentic. I have had the cacio e Pepe, carbonara, bolognese, meatballs, arancini, pizza. Everything was delicious.

La Mucca Ballerina absolutely exceeded my expectations. The meal started with their incredible bread—fluffy on the inside, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. Then came the main dishes. The steak with blueberry sauce was such a pleasant surprise—perfectly cooked and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. And the braised veal? Truly to die for. Melt-in-your-mouth tender with rich, comforting flavor in every bite. If you’re looking for a memorable meal with standout dishes, this is definitely the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!

Everything about this place was great. The waitress was very friendly and took good care of us. She was from Italy and was very engaging when our friends were talking about going to Italy. All the food was so fresh and tasty. It was probably the best lasagna I have ever had. The portions were big making it a good value for our money.

Great first experience at this restaurant and wish we tried it sooner. Staff was constantly on the go without leaving any table wanting. The food was just as good as any we've had around town (and then some). From the starting focaccia we knew we had a winner. Followed that with friend calamari selected as it's a telltale staple for many Italian restaurants. It was crispy and came with fried peppers and pickles, but the most impressive and important aspect was how tender it was. Superior! Entres of caccio e pepe and a stuffed pork chop sealed the deal. Pasta was perfectly prepared and sauced while the chop was absolutely succulent. This coupled with a achingly delicious Montepulciano had us completely in love with La Mucca. If only we left room for dessert.....oh well, next time!

5 Stars I had an incredible experience at La Mucca Ballerina in Sarasota. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and authentic Italian dishes that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. The service was equally impressive; the staff was friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast without ever feeling rushed. Every moment felt thoughtfully curated, from the warm welcome at the door to the perfectly timed arrival of each course. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian cuisine paired with top-notch service, this is the place to go!

We had an early 5:30 reservation the night before Valentines day, we sat outside comfortably. Our server was very attentive. The calamari was excellent, as was the bread. We had the eggplant parmesan and the homemade sausages and pasta. Excellent. The disappointing part comes in that we had looked at the menu the night before and both landed on the lobster ravioli plate, reviews were excellent on it. Mind you, ordering at 5:30 and told that there isn't any. Cannot figure how that is possible. Really disappointed, slightly soured an otherwise great experience
