Evergreen Escapes

We did the “Best of Olympic National Park from Seattle Tour”. What a great day. Our guide Evan, from the time we got on the van to the end of the day had us all involved. By the end of the day we felt like one happy family. His knowledge was amazing. I learned so much. Besides making sure we had a great experience, he always made sure we were comfortable. Throw in a delicious lunch, it was a perfect day. It was such a great experience we booked the Mount Rainer tour for tomorrow. Thank you Evan We had such a great time that 2 days later we did the “Mt. Rainier National Park Day Tour”. This time our guide was Brent. He was great. Another amazing day. The view of the mountain is breathtaking I highly recommend tours with Evergreen Escapes Tours

We booked the Olympic Park tour. Marty picked us up from the hotel at the promised time, and after a short introductions with everyone else we went on our way. First we crossed the Puget Sound by ferry, Marty prepared some coffee/hot chocolate and a delicious coofee cake for us for the ride. While we ate he explained a bit about what to expect and about the wildlife and marine life in the area. When we arrived, it took a bit of a drive to get to our destination, but Marty kept the conversation with explanations about the nature and the local communities, as well as a brief history of the native American tribes in the area - we even had a short stop at a local native American community. First we got to see a bit of Elwha river and took a walk to see a small waterfall nearby. Then we kept going to Lake Crescent and got to see it from multiple locations, and even took a small hike to see a bigger waterfall. Later we had a lovely picnic at one of the lake shores, which Marty also provided (the soup was delicious). Next we went to the the Olympic Peninsula and saw some marine life. Unfortunately the tide was high so we couldn't go down to the tide pools, but the views were great nonetheless. We couldn't see the mountains as there was a closure for some reason, but we were out of time anyway as we had to catch the ferry back. Through the adventure Marty kept explaining and answered all our our questions patiently, we even got to try some wild mushrooms and berries together. Marty returned us to our hotel tired but satisfied. We were expecting to hike a bit more, but we got to see so much regardless.

Our tour guide Evan customized a fantastic trip for us. He was very kind and courteous, and structured our adventure to our abilities and what the mountain conditions provided. He knew just where to go to give us the tour we needed but didn’t know how to ask for. He was extremely knowledgeable about Mt. Rainier and the surrounding area. The nice warm soup for lunch was tasty and hit the spot.

I had an incredible tour to Mount Rainier today with Evergreen Escapes. Our guide, Lindsay, was absolutely fantastic! He was super friendly, funny, and full of great stories and photography tips that made the day even more enjoyable. He kept the group laughing and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. As always, Evergreen Escapes thought of everything: from snacks and a delicious lunch to all the little details that make the day run smoothly. My husband & I took the Mount Rainier & Olympic National Park tours; we are 70 & 66. On September 1, we visited Olympic National Park with Alex as our tour guide; she was knowledgeable, funny and impressively well organized. My husband and I were both a bit under the weather, not at our peak for hiking but Alex made sure we had an equally amazing experience as the most avid hiker. On August 29 we visited Mount Rainier with tour guide Hannah, she was incredibly knowledgeable and she kept us moving at a nice pace with wonderful stories of the area but left plenty of time for breaks and photos. I highly recommend Hannah, Alex and Evergreen Escapes, they are a great company and with highly experienced tour guides.

Had a wonderful trip to Olympic National Park with Evergreen Escapes. I happened to be there during the floods, and my original plans had to change, but the team made sure I had alternatives instead of simply canceling. They even put together a whole new itinerary just for me that stayed as close as possible to what I’d hoped to do. That was truly above and beyond what I expected. Special thanks to Marty for making my day in Olympic National Park so much fun, and for helping me find at least one of the trolls in Seattle! He is extremely knowledgeable and very fun and this is an easy recommendation.

We had the absolute best experience on our Olympic National Park tour with Evan! He is hands down one of the best guides we’ve ever had. Evan was not only extremely knowledgeable about the park and its history, but he also had a wonderful way of bringing our group together so everyone felt included. I did 2 day tours with this company, Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park, both were absolutely spectacular. A must-do experience if you're in Seattle! Lindsey was our guide for Mount Rainier and was truly exceptional. He is a 100/10 guide. Super knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely cared for everyone on the trip. Great food and tons of snacks made it easy to just show up and enjoy the views. Alex guided our Olympic National Park tour and was equally wonderful. She gave us great flexibility and shared amazing indigenous stories of the place, which I find it unique and meaningful touch. Highly recommend this company and both guides. Perfect for solo travellers to make your journey less lonely and convenient, seamless experience, unforgettable memories!!
