Fairmont the Palm, Dubai

"How did it strike you on arrival?Set on the “trunk” of Dubai’s famous Palm, The Fairmont opened in 2012. With its own impressive beach and large rooms with views, it’s remained a popular choice for all kinds of travelers who want a taste of Dubai luxury. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The rooms are clean and contemporary, if a little simple. Decor isn’t over the top here—just a touch of Arabian latticework and a few pops of blue. All rooms have large balconies with furniture, but beware that rooms facing the road deal with traffic noise. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? You'll be greeted with chocolates, fresh fruit, and dates. Rooms have 40-inch TVs and espresso machines. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms, decorated with blue mosaics set against tan marble, are a little dated. Regardless, they're still luxurious with deep tubs, separate showers, and Le Labo toiletries. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wifi is expensive (and of marginal quality) in the rooms. It’s free in public areas, but doesn’t reach to the beach or pool areas. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Restaurants are expensive, but there's lots of variety (including a Brazilian steakhouse and Chinese fine dining). One of the four pools is specifically for families. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The beach is impressive, but an ongoing construction project has dulled the experience. Bottom line: worth it, and why?A luxurious resort at the base of the famous palm means easier access to the rest of Dubai than some of its competitors on the island." - Laura Ratliff

"Though the airport and city highlights are all a quick drive away, the Fairmont feels like a true getaway thanks to its setting on Palm Jumeirah island. There, surrounded by views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai Marina, you’ll find 381 guest rooms and suites, each with warm, contemporary-Arabic décor, marble soaking tubs, Le Labo bath products, Nespresso machines, and furnished balconies. Many of the rooms are designed to be connected to form their own locked-off section, making the hotel ideal for family travel. Also great for groups is the wealth of amenities, starting with the 10 restaurants and lounges featuring everything from authentic Indian, Korean, and Taiwanese fare to Brazilian churrascaria and American burgers and shakes. A Kid’s Club, four pools, beachfront loungers, a health club, and a Willow Stream Spa help keep everyone entertained, as do off-property activities like water sports, speed boat rides, and golf at three nearby clubs."

Been here 3 days and everything this very good. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional at all level (cleaners, housekeeping, reception, waiters - everyone). The food is excellent with a lot of choice. We made a good decision in coming here. • Would like to see a level of sunbed control in that some people reserve beds that are then not used, which is unfair. • It is a pity the Kymo beach bar has their music so incredibly loud!! It is appreciated it is out of your control but ...

I had an amazing experience at Blowfish! The atmosphere was great, but what truly stood out was the excellent service. Everything was smooth, friendly, and very attentive from start to finish. A huge thank you to Khin, who was incredibly kind and professional. She really made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be coming back!

🌟 Fantastic stay 🌟 We were there from October 7th to October 14th, 2025. We had great weather. We had an excellent stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it! The food was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. We felt very safe at all times and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, providing truly first-class service. The beach was also great. The water was clean and pleasantly warm, and there was always plenty of space, which was very relaxing. I recommend only booking breakfast or half board. It is important to note that drinks are only included with breakfast. We had to pay extra for drinks with lunch. We believe that half board should at least include non-alcoholic drinks with dinner, as you end up paying a considerable amount. Apart from this minor point, everything was really first class and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay at the Fairmont Hotel. The staff are very attentive, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. Special thanks to Tahsin for his attentive service and kindness. The only downside was the soundproofing in the room (which faced the road). You can hear cars and their horns at night, especially at weekends.

"I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the General Manager of Fairmont Hotel on his new role. I'm confident that his leadership will bring positive changes to the hotel. During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of meeting with Ugur, who listened attentively to my concerns and promptly addressed the issues I faced. His helpful approach and dedication to improving the hotel's services were truly impressive. I'd also like to thank the exceptional staff members who made my stay memorable, including Ajayraj (supervisor) from housekeeping, Luke from the pub, Sukaina and Omar from the front desk, and the team at the spa. Our spa experience was wonderful, thanks to Dinny and Jum. While I appreciate the prestige of the Fairmont brand, I did notice some areas for improvement in the restaurants. The half-board menu options at Blowfish, Bold Asia, and Little Miss India could be reviewed, as I encountered some hidden charges at Little Miss India and found the selection at Bold Asia to be limited. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing the hotel continue to improve under the new GM's leadership. Wishing him all the best and thanking him again for his hard work and dedication."

This is the most incredible hotel I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff members were incredibly polite and accommodating, always ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. We consistently felt well-cared for and welcomed throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the half-board option, which allowed us to experience several of the on-site restaurants. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements, offering a wide variety of choices. We never had to repeat a meal, and every dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Our sincere gratitude goes to Kalorus and Edan for their exceptional efforts in making our stay truly memorable; we always felt well-attended to. We also extend our thanks to Rodgers for initiating our five-star experience from the very beginning and maintaining that high standard throughout our visit. We would also like to commend the housekeeping and onsite staff for their exceptional service. Thank you all for contributing to our incredible and memorable stay.

Amazing hotel with friendly environment no one will bother you unless they feel you have a question or request. My great experience built on everyone from the hotel family starting the 2 Egyptians receptionist during check-in, Sri Lankan guy in the restaurant next to the pool, the Indian lady at reception ending with Rashmita at the lobby. What a great experience
