"At the Center of Main Street Right in the middle of Main Street, 501 On Main restaurant is a great place to sit back with some delicious food and drink and watch all of the action. Downstairs is a casual, almost sports bar kind of vibe, while upstairs is a bit more formal. I cannot get enough of the mushroom risotto, served in a hand-shaped potato nest, or the 14-hour braised pot roast. Lots of bar food, sandwiches, salads and soups make up the casual fare. They have the largest selection of sulfite-free wines in Utah, and the owners are just so nice you'll want to keep going back. (And you can afford to!)"

Fun, winter ski vies. I went there for the first time. I honestly didn’t understand about the negative reviews comparing with the food in NY. The food was fine, even though the poutine was a bit off from original, pretty much French fried in French onion soup, which taste good but not as expected. The bison burger and soup taste good. I enjoyed everything. After a long day doing snow activities, I had a good meal here while getting my body temperature up. Would come back again.

Google
Great food and drinks. Our service was fast. Servers, bussers and other staff was very attentive and regularly checked with us on our food and drinks. Bistro seating works out pretty good during summer time. No reservation was needed for us in the month of May.

Yx G.

Google
Overall decent food given this is at a ski resort. Maybe I’m from New York so might be harsher on food… Pro: Bison Burger is what they recommended. Bison Chili is worth trying. Friendly service and welcoming. Con: I would appreciate it more if waiter can ask if we want ice in water. I had a hard time drinking cold freezing water with lots of ice. Beet salad rarely has any beet. Also, not everyone wants cheese on salad. But don’t worry, not just here, it’s nearly everywhere in Park City.

Google
A great spot for a snack or dinner. We stopped in just for a glass of wine (house wine was very good…I had the Cabernet) but ended up being tempted my the menu for a little bite as well. I had the poutine which was an upgraded version of my younger diner days of French fries and brown gravy.. it was irresistible and I have to admit I ate the whole thing. My husband had the roasted beet salad and also ate every bite. Not everyone would think this comment was a big deal, but the glass ware was absolutely spotless…a rare find in almost any food establishment these days unless it is a 5star restaurant. I want to go back when I am hungrier and try the lobster bisque!

Google
As someone with celiac, it is hard to find tasty comfort food that is safe. I emphasized my need for gluten-free food, and my husband and I shared the fish and chips as well as an order of poutine with our whole table. It was way too much food for us, and we ended up taking a lot back to our lodging. I had gone to 501 on Main years ago and it was disappointing so I’m so glad it was better this time around. My only concern was it was rather hot inside. I know with the door is open there is very little to be done with that though! And for those fellow celiacs wondering, I did not get sick after eating there and would gladly return on my next visit to Park City.

Jacob D.

Google
We dined at 501 after reading good reviews, especially for people with a gluten allergy. We started with the poutine fries and they were the best thing I had. If I went back, I would choose that as my meal. I got the bison burger which was delicious, although, I got a really bad stomach ache later that night. My wife got the fish and chips, which she really liked.

Google
It was not what we were expecting at all. From outside it looks like a nicer place to dine. But once inside it's a dump! A few hundred bucks could go a long way to paint the place and clean it up. Stuff is everywhere! The employees were fine. It's the owners who need to wake up. The food was lousy. It's sad because this place has so much potential

Felipe C.

Google
The portions are really big, and the food is really good. We had salads and burgers and we were very pleased. Also, the atmosphere is great. We went on lunchtime on a Sunday and didn’t get any waiting. We ate at the second floor, that has a nice view for Main Street and the houses on the mountain. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
Perfect Spot to Unwind -- Fresh, Flavorful, and Friendly We were killing time in Park City before a late-night flight home and, after a full day of adventures, just wanted to relax and enjoy a good, nourishing meal. As we walked down Main Street, we spotted 501 on Main and decided to give it a shot -- so glad we did! The hostess was warm and welcoming, and our server, Gonzalo, was fantastic. The menu had lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which was amazing for me -- and plenty of great choices for the less picky eaters in the group, too. The Buffalo Cauliflower Dippers were a total standout -- a generous portion and absolutely addictive. Ideal for sharing, though you might not want to! My daughter had the gourmet grilled cheese with tomato soup, my husband had the Slow Roasted Turkey Melt, and I had the Roasted Red Beet Salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is relaxed yet charming, and the experience overall was just what we needed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a welcoming, satisfying meal in Park City!

Yelp
We've lived in town for a couple years now and this is one restaurant we've never been to. They always seem busy, but it's never made our list. We went for lunch and I was quite surprised that our complimentary water was serviced in a plastic "solo style" cup; Not even a washable plastic cup, but single use. The food was decent but all the food seemed just stocked Sysco foods, not chef inspired. I guess if you know what you're getting, it's fine. Though this is a restaurant, it really feels more like a bar. Maybe it was the plastic cups. Maybe it's the small main room having a prominent bar. Maybe it's sitting at a high top. It's not bad. It's just mid.

Yelp
We came here for the upstairs patio, thinking a drink outside was the perfect addition to our day. My husband got the Kentucky Mule and I got the West Coast Flight. My wine flight was solid but his mule was only okay. This is the first mule we've had with lemon instead of lime. The service has been fine. The food has just been "fine." It has a mass-produced feel to it that doesn't justify the cost. I know I'm paying for the location, and truly, my outside patio spot is the highlight. My husband's comment was, "This is straight up diner food." I ordered the Pick Two and got Lobster Bisque and the Turkey Melt. The Mister got a Rueben and Bison Chili. All of it was meh. No complaints, but nothing to write home about. For the price, the portions were small and the quality wasn't worth the price tag. I do love that view though! Also, our server was great. No complaints there at all.

Yelp
Meh. This place is a huge miss. Main Street in park city can be a tourist trap with restaurants catering to non-locals. 501 on main does nothing to differentiate itself from other establishments in the area. We were hungry so decided to give them a try, and should have turned around. The inside is crowded, loud and the hostess table is directly in the front of the main floor. Service is extremely slow, food mediocre at best. I'm sure it's fine for some but we enjoy a higher end experience regardless if it's just lunch. I do not recommend and will not be back.

Yelp
My first time here but my wife and daughter visited the day before and loved it so we returned the next day. The food was great and the service was excellent. The wedge salad was huge and well prepared. The fish and chips was crunchy and flavorful and the turkey sandwich was excellent. The only issue was my son felt that the burger was a bit salty and the fries had no salt. Eating outside was a bit hectic for those that did, as we saw a couple of people come in to escape the bees.
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
Writing this while still sitting here because this place has the most amazing buffalo cauliflower I have ever had! I would come here for that alone! They also have the cutest little upstairs patio.
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
So hard to not knock off because of $$ But honestly, $17 for the Bloody Mary plus &6.50 for the bacon But alas, the bacon always wins Lobster bisque - no chunks of lobster polo
google avatar

Paloma D.

Yelp
Nothing here was good. The service was only ok and the food was terrible. We sat outdoors which was cramped and the table next to us got attacked by bees. Issues were constantly brought to the attention of the staff who seemed to not care. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
Stopped in on valentines day after not getting reservations elsewhere. No wait and were seated right away. Simple but elegant interior. Service was very attentive. We ordered the turkey melt, and the tomato soup and grilled cheese. Both were very tasty and hit the spot on a cold night. Definitely a spot worth checking out for a quick bite to eat! The wines are a but on the expensive side though as an fyi. I had a $17 rose, which not sure if it was worth that much nor was it a larger pour.
google avatar

Kerry S.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Found was tasty and hot. They accommodate my gluten free needs beautifully

Yelp
We were starving after a long day exploring Park City and decided to have some pizza here. It was a busy evening because the wait was about 30-45 min and they don't take reservations. You have to walk up to the host table and put down your name and party number. They then call you when there's an opening, you go to the registers to order and then they give you a table number to place where you are seated. The pizza was alright. It wasn't anything to drool over but it did it's job by providing us food to make us full. There are a lot of different food options so it's a good place to go on a whim or if you're very hungry. It also is on the more expensive side considering the type of food it offers.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Sat outside for a quick lunch. Nice sandwich/salad combo on the menu, turkey was good. The half Caesar looked a little wilted and the parm on it gave it an overall slapped together feel. Very nice chowder with a lotta seafood. Felipe was a good waiter. Nice stop. Would recommend if you need something quick and want to sit outside.
google avatar

Shari S.

Yelp
We had a very enjoyable dinner at 501 Main this past Friday. The service was friendly and polite. The warm artichoke dip was excellent. I wasn't overly hungry so I had a house salad. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips dish. The atmosphere was buzzy but not crazy loud.

Yelp
WARNING - for your safety, think twice about eating at this restaurant! It got sick eating at this establishment a few weeks ago and when I reported this to the restaurant, I did not receive a return phone call for three days. And while Alyssa March is apparently the manager of this establishment, she is refusing to speak to me. Had one of her wait staff contact me to let me know they are very sorry and would provide a full refund which never arrived. Then I received an email from '501 Admin' recanting the refund and offering gift certificates instead. As if someone would ever want go back to a restaurant a second time once they've been poisoned once! The owners remain unresponsive. The Utah health department has been contacted as well as the local hotels in order to minimize additional exposure.

Yelp
Overall, this is a great place! Great drink options, good food, and decent service. It is a little bit expensive, but still one of the nicer places we have been while on Main Street. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Overall, this is a great place! Great drink options, good food, and decent service. Yelp
Nice selection of vegetarian dishes and NA cocktails. I had the daily vegetarian selection (mushroom risotto) and my husband had the vegan chili. Both were excellent.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Ehh. Truly was bummed and not impressed. We stopped in here because it was the only place that didn't have longer than a 20 minute wait. The glorified grilled cheese was not that at all. Sure, they used a fancy bread that was good because it had a ton of herbs baked into it but it was nothing more than cheese on bread. The side soup was eh. The reuben was probably the best thing we had as the smal bison chili my husband got was also less than exciting. I'm sure there are plenty of other places to get dinner at.
google avatar

Audrey M.

Yelp
Stopped in and it wasn't our first choice because of the rating, but not much was open. We were seated right away and our waiter was friendly and prompt. The building is old and unique, but the interior lacks that vibe. Ordered the bison burgers and I tried the tomato soup. Loved the soup! Very good. A little sweeter from the coconut milk, but fantastic flavor. The burger was big and filling. Nice flavor. Overall, we were pleased and would return.

Yelp
Delicious! We got into town late on the 4th of July and seemingly nowhere was open! Stumbled upon this gem and so happy we did. Great & quick service, and the food was tasty. We got the bruschetta, bison chili, and pot roast.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Cute little place. The breakfast burrito is awesome!! Eggs, potato and chorizo and cheddar. Bloody Mary was tasty and came with celery and olives as per usual.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
We picked this restaurant because it was closed to where we parked. Our waitress was really helpful, she even noticed we spoke Spanish and she spoke to us in Spanish so I though it was very thoughtful of her to try to make a connection and make it easy to communicate. The food was pretty good, we had some mimosas and those were good too. Even though we chose this place at random it was a really nice place to get a meal. I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Yelp
Best tomato soup I've ever had. Portions are generous and staff is absolutely superb!

Yelp
Visited 501 on Main on a busy, summer Friday night. We were able to get right in for dinner. We sat inside as the patio was full. The food was adequate - not memorable. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer. Heavy on the mozzarella - could have used more tomatoes and balsamic for a better balanced flavor. The tomato soup was great and grilled cheese was surprisingly tasty. The Slow Roasted Turkey Melt was good and would get again. The fries were not very flavorful. The drinks were great - enjoyed the Espresso Martini and Ginger Bull. Service was good - they were attentive and prompt in taking and turning around our orders. Ambiance was calm but lacked pizzazz. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about 501 On Main. There are many restaurant options on Park City Main Street. This place is a good option if you want to get in quicker on a busy night.

Seth M.

Yelp
The servers were nice and helpful but my god was the food bad. Not even close to worth the price. The salmon was served in a bowl full of tzatziki? What are you even supposed to do with that? 2 stars because the servers were very kind.
google avatar

Jaimie C.

Yelp
I think the rating for this place is fair. We ordered the Bison Burger and the mediterranean chicken dish. The burger was ordered at medium but came out well done. The ciabatta bread was great but the dryness of the bison was a disappointment. The chicken was also dry as well as the mashed potato's. The sun dried tomato's saved the dish. I think the price point is not where it should be. Expect to spend big city money for a less than average meal.
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
They serve solid food that's hits the spot. The ambiance was a bit busy for my taste, but I guess we were seated in a highly trafficked area. The professional service was much appreciated :)

Z W.

Yelp
Had lunch here while spending the day in Park City. My server was very friendly and made excellent recommendations for me to choose off the menu. Opted for the Reuben sandwich and was thoroughly satisfied. For the price I paid, it was worth it!
google avatar

Julie D.

Yelp
The food & service was incredible! The best bruschetta was the best I've ever tasted! And the Norwegian Chowder was phenomenal! I highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Hannah J.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. We shared 3 orders of soup: bison chili, lobster bisque and norwegian chowder. Bison chili and lobster bisque was bland. The lobster bisque had no lobster chunks or flavor at all. The norwegian chowder was the best one out of them as it had actual pieces of seafood. Soup comes with 2 pieces of bread. Service was good; servers were attentive and friendly. Ambiance was cozy and it's a nice place to have drinks and chill but I wouldn't come here solely for food.

Dawson S.

Yelp
This place had amazing service and incredible food. Ate here for a quick lunch and was pleased with choice!

Yelp
My family of 5 came here for dinner around 4:30pm, and everything was fantastic! We were seated immediately, and the food was brought out not too long after we ordered. I'm vegan, and I was very happy with their abundance of vegan options. They also have a very nice kids meal. Our waitress Mayra was especially fantastic and gave us quite a few laughs during the meal. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are a little small- I was expecting the 501 Choose Two to be enough for a full meal, but I was still hungry after dinner. I assume the entrees might be more filling though. The food is really excellent, and I would especially recommend the vegan chili. The vegan focaccia they serve alongside the soups is also really fantastic.

Yelp
CHOOSE ANYWHERE ELSE TO EAT IN PARK CITY.. I should have ran after our gross poutine appetizer, instead I decided to give them a chance so I ordered the grilled cheese / soup dinner combo.... The tomato soup was cold , and was sweet and tasted more like a coconut soup... specifically COSTCOS KIRKLAND SIGNATURE TOMATO COCONUT SOUP.....THE "Grilled Cheese" was not cooked all the way , It was cold and 80% of the cheese was not melted. That's truly gross.like it's supposed too be oooey gooey and exciting! So yeah it's not famous... they should change the name of this menu item.... My partner had the fish and frites, hardly any fish and all gross breading, also not warm or hot. Also for being high a dollar cafe I still can't believe I was served drinks in plastic water cups !!!! Like get yourselves together!!! Beyond basic and tacky! I'm still shocked! I have been to third world countries and have never been served in the basic disposable cups... like whatttttttttt I left a note on my receipt expressing how bad our dinners was, and the things that should be brought to the cooks and owners attention. My food was not worth $20 nor our grand total of $160....(I just paid and left, not the waitress fault the food is cold and awful) This place needs major love in the kitchen. Just because you're a busy popular location doesn't mean you CAN SLEEP ON QUALITY OF GOODS.... This place needs to really work on quality control... before you guys find yourselves begging Chef Gordon Ramsey to come film you guys for KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. Food 1/5 Service 3.5 Cafe dirty and cute. The French fries were the only "okay" thing here... oh and the vodka. For real... this place needs work. Legit nobody while Dining really touched their plates.
google avatar

Courtney H.

Yelp
This place was amazing for the food quantity and the taste! Very small space inside and not good for large parties. More pricier then some of the other restaurants but the food is good and you get large portions. It's very old style it feels like you're back in a different time cause the buildings are historic so they've kept that charm. The servers were very nice and welcoming. A must try if you're in the area!
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
We had a reservation nearby for dinner and decided to pop in for a drink because it was giving off fun and stylish vibes. The bartender took awhile to get to us even though we were the only ones sitting at the tiny bar area. The drinks were pricey for what you get. My boyfriend had an espresso martini and I had a s'mores martini. I paid $49 for our drinks including the tip. My s'mores martini had no marshmallow on top or in it for that matter, which may have somewhat contributed to the lack of s'mores taste. I think there was a rim of graham cracker but I can't be too sure because it tasted more like sawdust. Overall, it was not good and it would've been nice for the bartender to mention that he was missing some key ingredients, before making it but I guess a s'mores martini without marshmallow isn't worth mentioning. When he finally had some time to spare and asked how the drinks were, I asked why it lacked sweetness and his reply was "they were out of marshmallow." How could a drink with that much chocolate syrup still manage to not taste good was the real question. My boyfriend's drink was pretty good though.

Yelp
Had a pretty good lunch at this place. Small cozy restaurant located on Main Street. I had the Bison Chili . It was OM, nothing special. The staff was nice and helpful.
google avatar

Connor M.

Yelp
The fries were bad, we asked for new ones thinking they were just a bad batch and discovered that they were inherently bad. Service was poor. We waited way too long for everything, after flagging down someone when we needed anything (menus, to order, silverware, water). We've been here before and it wasn't so horrid, but since then the prices have increased and the noodles my sec guy have been swapped tfor craft made boxes. Burger was good though
google avatar

Susie T.

Yelp
I would not recommend this place. It's difficult to mess up avocado toast but 501 succeeded with an Olympic medal. The toast tasted like a crunchy overcooked stale crouton. I asked the waitress what had happened and she explained that it was because it was on focaccia bread ??? with no apology or further explanation. Nice balcony though.

Carlos S.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Basic but well prepared and reasonably priced breakfast. Service was friendly, but slow. Ate outside on their shaded patio on Main St. Not the restaurants fault, but some road construction started nearby shortly after we ordered.
google avatar

Fred S.

Yelp
Had a very nice lunch. Sitting outside on the deck right on the street, great for people watching. I had the best Ruben I've ever had!! My wife had the avocado toast, she said it was quite tasty. Overall very nice lunch and the service was good for a very busy lunch period. Sit outside!!
google avatar

K S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at 501. Burger and fries were amazing as well as the fish and chips. Service could have been a little better but not bad.

Yelp
This is one of the best spots on Main Street. I put my dad in memory care this year and was sure missing his home cooking. The pot roast was just delicious!! Big serving with mash potatoes, carrots and gravy and it was even just as delicious left over the next day. This place is family owned with a lot of obvious care and friendly service. They even let me sit next to a spot where I could charge my phone. Reasonably priced compared to other spots and really yummy food! Highly recommended!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good Lunch- fish frites, sandwich and salad was perfect! Stuffy inside but nice to sit outside! Would return for lunch!

Yelp
We ventured in just checking out the area. We were asked if we had a reservation which we did not but then was seated right away. The same man that was the host also was our waiter. We were informed they were out of grapefruit juice when we were ordering drinks. I got the steak with chimichurri sauce and a salad. The salad was bigger than the steak. The steak was not good. The only thing I liked was the salad. Our service was great. Just a little disappointed in the food and then the price of it.
google avatar

Pepper C.

Yelp
So so many weird things were going on. Food sub par. No soap in the men's bathroom and while we were waiting we watched a server/busboy clean his shoes with the bar towel then PUT IT BACK to clean tables later? No water was offered or cups to drink the sparkling water on the table for 3.50. Beer tasted soapy and strange my kids children's wreck was the end parts of a top sirloin.....not good. The kicker my salad bowl came in a Genghis grill bowl so that was fun but not for a 17.00 salad that was not chopped well for a chopped.
google avatar

Kris K.

Yelp
We had a nice view of Main St. while seated by the window but, that was the only part of our lunch we enjoyed. I ordered Fish & Chips & my husband had the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in both of our meals. While I understand that most restaurants portions might be smaller or prices slightly higher, my Fish portion was shockingly small. Please see my picture. They were not much larger than the old Frozen Fish Sticks I ate as a kid. There were 3 pieces & 1 of the pieces wasn't even a whole piece. Enough about the portion size, the fish was dry & chewy. The best way to describe it would be if you opened up a can of tuna & took a bite straight out of the can. The Server took a while to visit our table once we were seated. However, she did apologize for the delay once she approached us but, we didn't see her again until the end of our lunch. We were never checked on, were not offered refills on our waters/drinks. We weren't asked how the food was. The most that was said by our server was Thank you & Happy New Year once she brought the check.
google avatar

Johanna S.

Yelp
Stopped in Park City during a road trip in the summer and settled on this restaurant for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. The avocado toast was not my favorite but it wasn't bad either. The location is great for people watching and appreciating the beauty of Park City. We did have to wait a bit for a table but we used the time to walk around Main Street. The server was very pleasant and finding a parking meter was super easy.

Yelp
I'll round up to 3 for the supreme Bloody Mary because I can't give 2.5. We went for dinner and hubs ordered an espresso martini and I ordered a supreme Bloody Mary -not my normal dinner drink but I've been craving one with breakfast all week on our trip and this dumb state doesn't allow alcohol to be served before 10:30/11. (What horsesh*t rules I can only imagine are inspired by the religion of the area). The espresso martini was weak. I'm not sure there was a full ounce of vodka in that drink. With that complaint out of the way my Supreme bloody was delicious. I ordered a second bloody but got a regular and it was not as good. Onto the food- we ordered poutine for an appetizer and it was meh. It was more French fries with melted cheese. Dear management add a hefty laddle of gravy to make a much better poutine. I ordered the market cut steak which was an 8oz flat iron steak. To be honest I was hoping for a ribeye when we arrived and disappointed in the other menu options so I reluctantly settled for the flat iron. It was just meh. I guess if you love flat iron steaks maybe you'd have enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes and au jus were good but the season veggies were a total of 4 modest sized carrots.... Come on it's freaking carrots you can't give a few more? Hubs ordered the "seasonal" pasta -per recommendation of our waitress-which was a pappardelle pasta with lemon crème sauce. It was the most boring sauce that I've ever had. Completely lacking flavor. Even for him so he didn't finish because it wasn't worth the calories. When the bill came it was the most expensive meal of our trip but also the most disappointing. Can't say I'll visit again because we picked the two best looking options on the menu and they were both underwhelming.

Yelp
Delicious food, cozy building and very good wait staff. The vegetarian chillin was so good!

Yelp
Phenomenal service from Bree today! I didn't catch the hosts name but she is the reason why we picked 501 in the first place! She greeted us and started up a friendly convo and asked us if we would like to have some lunch. We sat at a high top table. Our daughter had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and I had the salad/tomato soup combo. I recently quit drinking and tried the Athletic brewing company non alcoholic beer and was shocked how close it tasted to the real thing. Excellent lunch, great service, tasty food. I'd give this place a solid 5 stars and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Park City/ Main Street. We'll be back!
