I ordered the banana bread matcha and the strawberry yuzu matcha off Ubereats - both with oat milk. Not sure if I was just unlucky but the drinks were not good at all. The delivery didn’t take a long time either so I wouldn’t attribute the poor taste to the fact that we didn’t get to taste it right away. Even if that was the case, it should have been considered in the recipe conception whether the drink still tastes good after 10 mins. Both were extremely watery. Not even milky.. just pure water. I could barely taste the banana bread flavour and even the matcha taste itself was barely there, despite good color. The strawberry yuzu is a weird combination with the matcha and comes off as medicinal. I’ve heard the matcha is electric mixed.. if so that makes sense why it’s so frothy/watery as opposed to creamy and smooth. Overall, it was hardly worth $20 for two drinks.

Rich, deep matcha flavor, yummy pastries and lovely employees. Banana Matcha & cold foam are not very sweet but still so yummy. Matcha croissant was flaky and the filling was delish. My Matcha Haus mini vlog on TikTok, @pelsandaplate, shows a better view of the cozy but cute atmosphere and good eats.

I wanted to try their matcha for very long time. I tried the strawberry yuzu ngl the best one I had so far. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and suggested me to try this drink. Truly mesmerizing experience for a small matcha place like this.

Tried Matcha Haus on Bathurst and loved it! We ordered the Double Pistachio, which was so creamy and flavorful. Definitely a must-try if you’re a pistachio lover or not. The Earl Grey Lavender was also really nice and had a lovely floral touch. The place has such a cozy vibe too—perfect for an afternoon treat!

As a self-proclaimed matcha connoisseur, my friends kept sending me this spot... and for good reason. I’m so tired of matcha that’s practically white and tastes like a cup of oat milk, so I drove quite a ways for this, and it was so worth it. The space is clean, aesthetic, and calm, and the staff was so kind!!! Hassan was an absolute angel; he helped me curate my order, chatted with me, and shared a bit about the company. I got the seasonal Earl Grey Lavender Matcha, and wow, she was GREEN. The flavor wasn’t too sweet, and the lavender was so beautiful and floral. You could actually taste its authenticity. My new favorite matcha spot. I’ll definitely be back 💚

5 stars for Matcha that is perfectly balanced, I can see that they make their flavours themselves in-house. I had so many matchas from other places that are overly sweet like icha tea in both of their locations, and I never went there again. I have been to Matcha Haus twice now and will definitely comeback. Staff has been nice and efficient. Advice to the owner: we noticed that the smell inside is a bit strange when you come in, the ventilation/fan that pulls the air out needs a little work, or a cheaper option is to get a hypoallergenic air freshener.

My friend and I randomly stumbled upon this cafe, not realizing it was their soft opening. We both ordered matcha lattes. I got mine with oat milk and sweetener, and my friend had theirs with regular milk and no sugar. The drinks were actually really good. I’ve been trying matcha at a bunch of different cafes lately, and this was easily one of the best. It was smooth and not too sweet, which I appreciate since a lot of places tend to overdo it. They nailed the balance here. The only downside is that the cafe is pretty small. It got crowded pretty quickly after we sat down, and there were quite a few people standing around waiting for seats.
