The hotel was very good and the staff was excellent. The front desk staff especially was very helpful. There was no dedicated concierge, but everyone on the front desk essentially did concierge-level work at things like arranging transportation; finding a doctor for a member of our party who became ill; finding a pharmacy nearby to fill prescriptions; making restaurant recommendations; etc. It was wonderful having them to ask about things.||The rooms were comfortable and had everything you would need. This is in a beautiful converted building and the rooms are a bit small and can be a bit idiosyncratic, but I don't consider that to be a downside. There was coffee available in the room and a minibar. There was not iron for pressing clothes, but otherwise everything you could want was there.||The breakfast that is included with the room was very good. Included were pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, charcuterie, cheese, coffee americano and cappuccino, espresso and so forth. You can order eggs for a small a la carte fee.||The location cannot be beat. This hotel is steps away from Piazza di Duomo and close to the famous marketplace. There is a metro stop at the Piazza and a taxi rank as well. There was a restaurant next door (Pino) which served great food and wine. ||Overall, I cannot imagine a better hotel for that location.
