20 Best Things to Do in Bangkok

"A sprawling, air-conditioned shopping complex with over 250 stores across multiple floors, a large cineplex with IMAX, entertainment options like bowling, and one of the region's largest aquariums—an ideal indoor refuge from the city's intense heat and conveniently connected via elevated walkways to adjacent malls." - Katie Jackson Katie Jackson Katie Jackson is a New York City-based writer who covers travel, food, and more. "Top of the Shops Considered by many as Bangkok’s de facto city centre due to its location by the teeming Siam skytrain station, Siam Paragon has established itself as one of the most popular of the city’s temples of consumerism. With its easily navigable layout and tremendous range of shops, its elevated status comes as no surprise. Premium brands to be found here include Jimmy Choo, Versace, Hermes and Rolex while high street fashion is represented by the likes of Uniqlo, Gap and Zara."

The food court has countless options. Exploring it was my favorite activity to do here. Loved every bit of exploring it. Want to go back here again & again. Gourmet market filled with various special items from around the world. Make you feel like you have gone out to world food tour.

Siam Paragon is the original premier luxury high end mall in Bangkok before the opening of the newer ICON Siam and One Bangkok. Facing stiff competition, it still remains a popular shopping destination for tourist and locals alike. There's plenty of food options and fashion brands and I find it easier to get to compared to ICON Siam, and there are plenty of other major shopping malls in its proximity if you are done shopping here. The mall is expansive, beautifully designed, and offers unique attractions such as luxury car displays featuring brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini. Additionally, it houses a diverse food hall, an aquarium on the basement level, and a gourmet supermarket. Visitors are unlikely to find themselves bored within this comprehensive shopping complex

It has all you need. Good for window shopping. Asia books and Kinokuniya are probably the sanctuary in the whole mall. Very noisy especially in the entrance hall and the outdoor stage. Full of tourists and teenagers. Most fashion items are new, rarely on sales and costly. Best to window shop here and buy online. BTS is the best way to commute. Parking space is time-wasting. You’d end up spending 30 mins up, 30 mins down in the parking zone.

Siam Paragon is a premier shopping mall located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. It offers a wide range of luxury and local brand stores, making it a perfect shopping destination for all tastes. The mall is very clean, modern, and spacious, with a convenient connection to the BTS Siam Station. Visitors can enjoy an excellent food court featuring both Thai and international cuisines. Besides shopping, there are attractions such as a large aquarium (Siam Ocean World), a cinema, and a gourmet supermarket offering fresh and high-quality products. Despite sometimes being crowded, Siam Paragon provides a pleasant and diverse experience for shoppers and families alike, making it a must-visit spot in Bangkok. This short review captures the essence of Siam Paragon as a luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment hub in Thailand’s capital .

As one of the most luxurious malls in central Bangkok, Siam Paragon is full of designer brands and has a very modern feel. It's a shame that many of the shops, like those selling home goods, are increasingly focused on Western products instead of offering more Thai or Asian-style items. Downstairs, there is a great supermarket with a food court. There is also a food area outside, but be careful where you buy from. We were charged 360 baht for two small sticky rice, which was quite expensive.

A large mall in downtown Bangkok, clean and modern. Offering a variety of premium and high-end brands. I like the food court and restaurant area, the food has a lot of choices and is delicious.

Google
This place is the most luxury mall I’ve ever been to and it feels like it just keeps going on forever. You go up one level and think that’s the top just to find there are 3 more levels. Incredible design work! Plus the food court is a huge plus - many many Michelin star restaurants inside!

🛍️✨ Siam Paragon – A World-Class Mall with Local Soul & Global Taste Siam Paragon has always been one of my favourite malls in Bangkok, and with its recent renovation and reorganization, it has truly elevated its appeal to both locals and tourists. What stands out most is the revamped layout of the designer label zones — now beautifully curated and easy to explore, making it feel like a seamless luxury walk-through. Whether you’re looking for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle, every section is now more organized, elegant, and spacious. 💎 But my personal highlight? Definitely the Gourmet Market and Gourmet Eats. 🛒 Gourmet Market is a treasure trove for both locals and visitors — you’ll find a fantastic range of Thai local products, premium groceries, fresh fruits, beauty items, wellness brands, and uniquely Thai snacks all under one roof. It’s a place where every aisle tempts you to bring a piece of Thailand home. 🍽️ Then there’s Gourmet Eats, a true food lover’s paradise. They’ve gathered some of Thailand’s most celebrated restaurants — including Michelin-starred, Bib Gourmand, and legendary local names — into one convenient, clean, and beautifully designed space. Whether you’re craving traditional Thai, fusion dishes, or local street food served in air-conditioned comfort, you’ll be spoiled for choice here. ⸻ ✅ What I love about Siam Paragon: • Beautiful renovation with well-placed luxury zones • Easy access to both international brands and local favourites • Gourmet Market: the best place to shop for Thai goods and snacks • Gourmet Eats: dine like a foodie without hunting all over Bangkok 📍Whether you’re shopping for luxury labels or just soaking in the flavors of Thailand, Siam Paragon continues to impress — a true all-in-one destination.
