"Just 30 minutes from the bustling tourist towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge sits this secluded bed-and-breakfast surrounded by 200 forested acres. Accommodations at Christopher Place are intended for couples rather than families: Nine individually decorated rooms, four with in-room hot tubs for two and several with fireplaces, have only one bed, and children younger than 12 aren’t allowed. You can savor in-room breakfasts and dinners in a few of the rooms; everyone else can enjoy meals at the Mountain View Restaurant, which serves an affordable, seasonal four-course menu with a backdrop that’s just as satisfying. Hearty breakfasts will gird you for a full day of exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or just hiking the trails outside the resort’s front door. Return for a dip in the pool, then a cocktail or glass of wine in front of a roaring fire at Marston’s Library Pub, named after the property’s owner."

We were married here yesterday and stayed a few nights in Margaret’s room. Everything was beautiful and the wedding coordinator was also the photographer and she baked our wedding cake! For having other new staff, everyone was friendly and seemed to do a bit of everything. We brought a few family members with us and they truly enjoyed the views as well. It was a great getaway and an intimate place to have a wedding. We will be coming back to stay for sure! A hidden gem in the mountains!!

My (now) husband and I rented the whole venue for our wedding on Nov 6, 2021. From the moment we booked to the day of my event was so smooth and painless. Debbie, the wedding planner, made my life so easy. We traveled from out of state and she helped me with vendors and how to get our marriage license. Not to mention she she also baked my wedding cake and was better than i could have imagined. All of my guests enjoyed every minute. The food was absolutely delicious. Jamie, the bartender, was quick and tentative even while training a new bartender and my guests kept her on her toes! I could go on forever about how amazing our experience was. I don’t have a single negative comment. We can’t wait to be back in the future. I will recommend Christopher Place Resort to everyone.

Thank you for a perfect weekend getaway! The estate was gorgeous and the mountain views from our room were amazing. It has been over week since our visit and we are still talking about how amazing breakfast and dinner was! Overall, the resort and the room we stayed in, was the perfect romantic weekend getaway we were seeking. We definitely plan on another visit and have already recommended Christopher Place to our friends.

Everything about this B&B was exceptional. We met 5 people who stood out beyond expectations. Amanda, Johnny, Debbie, Amy and Karen all went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable. I knew when I spoke with Amanda to make the reservation, this was going to be a wonderful place to stay. She was warm and welcoming on the phone. They all made us feel like family. Great food and hospitality! The B&B is gorgeous, clean and has lots of history in each room. The grounds are beautifully kept. The view of The Great Smokey Mountains was out of this world!!

My husband and I stayed here for a short weekend. It was our first time being alone since having our baby just over a year ago. It was the PERFECT escape we needed to really enjoy each other and relax. The staff were hospitable and the food was amazing. We didn't get to explore the trails, but we did enjoy the pool and sauna, and the beautiful views. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I spent 2 nights recently at the Christopher Place Resort on our way back home to Virginia from Alabama...it was the perfect half way point to rest and recharge before retuning home. Booking was easy and the staff were so helpful. We stayed in the room named Camelot that was spacious, clean and had beautiful views of the mountains. We loved the breakfasts and enjoyed talking to Amy. We loved the raspberry chocolate mousse with the gingersnap pie crust that the chef, Nancy, created. If you get time do the walk through the white arbor...beautiful peaceful hike right on the grounds. We went white water rafting on the Pigeon River with the Nantahala Outdoor company...guides and outfit are first class. Thanks for everything!

The staff was very helpful. Our room was on the top floor and huge! We enjoyed hiking around on the grounds. The common area upstairs was a fun bonus that I didn't realize we'd get to enjoy. I loved the views and the variety of porches to access those views. The bar area was really neat too! Breakfast was amazing and we had a great view of the garden. My husband and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary! When I got home and posted pictures a family friend told me she and her husband had recently visited and enjoyed their stay as well. Thanks again!

We had our wedding here, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The grounds are gorgeous and so is the resort. It made for beautiful pictures and scenery. The restaurant was amazing, and the staff was incredibly kind. Nothing we asked of them was too much or out of reach. They were excited to make our stay amazing and gave us every accommodation. It made for an absolutely beautiful wedding weekend, and we were extremely pleased.
