"As one of France’s more beautiful towns, Honfleur is rife with delightful lodgings. La Maison de Lucie, however, remains a cut above the rest, not only for its exceptionally warm service, but also for its discreet charm and peaceful atmosphere. Right in the heart of town, the 18th-century manor house sits on a quiet street, surrounded by an airy courtyard that makes for the perfect place to escape the bustle of high season. Guests can choose from nine rooms (with brightly colored walls, wood paneling, and tiled bathrooms), two suites (one with views of the courtyard, the other a loft-style space under the eaves), and the Pavilion (a private, 18th-century structure in the courtyard, complete with a fireplace). When not out exploring the town, cozy up by the open fire in the lounge, have a cup of tea among the flowers in the courtyard, or head to the intimate spa, housed in the vaulted cellar with its exposed brick walls and stained glass windows."

Location location location! On the main square. Rose Room #2 was one floor up and staff kindly noted our bags(no lift). Very old and a little worn but a linens were great, bed comfy, and wonderful shower. Buffet breakfast was very good.

We were able to spend one night at the Hotel La Maison De Lucie and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very quaint and beautifully decorated. Our room was clean and charming. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The hotel is within walking distance of the center city and very quiet. We highly recommend the Hotel La Maison De Lucie for anyone visiting Honfleur. It is a beautiful town with very nice people.

I do not know why anyone would choose to stay anywhere else in Honfleur. Every aspect of our stay was absolutely perfect. From our warm welcome, the impeccable décor, perfect location, to a wonderful departing breakfast. We arrived and were warmly greeted by a lovely woman who showed us around, explained the history of the house, and showed us to our room. We had the room on the top floor and a gentleman helped us with our luggage to the top floor. (I felt bad as our bags were heavy to due the length of our trip and eventually traveling from a cool climate to a warm climate requiring different types of clothes.) We loved the winding staircase up to our room. Our room had beautiful views of the rooftops of Honfleur but the best was the bathroom. The huge clawfoot tub was a welcome sight after such a long day of travel. The stained glass, towel warmer, light switches, and bathroom products added the perfect finishing touches. We slept so well on the bed with the windows open to the fresh air. (I did not look for a/c as it was not needed during our stay. I would guess there is none.) Its location is a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the main square of town, so you are close to everything you want to see but away from the noise. There is also a lovely antique store just down and around a corner. When we returned from our exploration, there were beautiful vases of fresh flowers everywhere including our room. We sadly did not have time to enjoy the jacuzzi, but we will be sure to make time on another visit. We had dinner at L'Art du Bistrot (fantastic by the way) and upon return, the equally as lovely different woman who was manning the desk for the evening allowed us time to enjoy a glass of rosé in the living area before heading to bed for the night. The next morning we sat down to the most perfect and delicious petit déjeuner. Our cappuccinos were delicious and the best of our entire trip. The downside - it ruined every other breakfast we had the rest of our time in the Normandy region. Ha. My only complaint - we only stayed one night. If possible, plan for at least two. It's a great area to make a base to see Étretat and other inner areas of Normandy before heading west to the beaches. Merci for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return on another trip.

We had an excellent stay at La Petite Lucie (adjacent to Maison de la Lucie). The staff were incredibly kind, warm, welcoming, and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and beautiful. Lovely indoor and outdoor communal seating space. Delicious, fresh breakfast in a wonderful setting as well. Easily the best stay during our trip to France. Can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely the cutest hotel in Honfleur/Normandy! I say that because we were in town for 4days for a wedding and did get to see/compare it to the many other hotels our friends were staying at around the area haha. We truly loved our experience. The staff was ever so kind, the location was perfect - walking distance from everything in town, and the hotel itself had so much character. If we were ever to return to Honfleur, would definitely stay here. Shout out to Francois (hope im spelling it right) for all his help. Merci!!

A beautiful hotel in the heart of old Honfleur. Getting there by car a little challenging due to narrow streets. However, staff couldn’t be more helpful. Guiding us to public parking around the corner and helping with baggage. We stayed on the top floor in a beautiful room under the eaves. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the hotel but strongest impression was left by the staff - so warm and welcoming. Thank-you for making this a special visit.

I recently stayed at Hotel A Maisin de Lucie and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived the owner Muriel made me feel incredibly welcome. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely hospitable and attentive — it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being hosted by an old friend. I thought that Kazakhstan the ones who offer hospitality but Muriel shows me how hospital can be Honfler🥰🥰🥰 The rooms were clean, comfortable and well designer with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. But what truly stood out was the personal touch — Muriel took time to share local tips, showed me house of Francoise Sagan, Deauville and helped arrange transportation to Paris, and even offered a complimentary tea coffe and breakfasts upon arrival. Each morning, I was greeted with a smile and a delicious breakfast , often with fresh, local ingredients. Muriel and staff were available for a friendly chat or to help with anything I needed. It’s that kind of warmth and attentiveness that turns a good stay into a memorable one. I highly recommend hotele to anyone looking for a cozy, authentic, and heartwarming stay. I’ll definitely be back! Love Muriel, staff of Maison de Lucie and Honfler 🥰🥰🥰

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the outdoor space incredible, and the staff is absolutely 5 star. We had 3 couples in our group and we were treated like we were the only guests at the hotel. We stayed 3 nights, but we all wished we had stayed longer.

Yelp
My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years. It's a great small place that's walking distance to the ancient harbor and several wonderful restaurants. It is a converted old house that is impeccably kept. The place sits up above the city a bit so you have some interesting views of the old village. The breakfast that is made just for you in the morning is perfect to get your day started. You can decide between several rooms to sit, one with a fireplace if you choose. The woman that runs the place is super nice and accommodating. If you are only English speaking, no problem also. I highly recommend trying this place, you can use it as a launching place for your Normandy D-day beach tour trek.

Yelp
This is a beautiful place in a lovely, historical village. My room was impressive with a private terrace. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower had a rain head. The bathroom had stained glass. Breakfast isn't served until 8:30-how civilized. And Florence, who greeted me at 12:30 am, has a beautiful French-accented English. It is well-worth finding yourself here just to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
