We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris in Aruba this past September for my friend’s 60th birthday trip, and it was such a fantastic getaway! There were four of us, and we all agreed the resort was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location. It’s far enough from the busier part of Palm Beach that it feels peaceful and private, but still close enough to walk or grab a quick cab to shops and restaurants. (Best martinis on the island are an easy walk to Damy & Kelly at Moomba!)||The beach was gorgeous — plenty of chairs and palapas every day, soft sand, and the water was warm and crystal clear with no seaweed or debris at all. The resort offers rafts, kayaks, and paddleboards, which was such a nice perk. We loved the beachside drink service (happy hour deals were great!) and wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she was amazing. Also, a special mention to Daniella at the gelato shop in the lobby — she was so sweet and friendly every time we stopped by.||Before our trip, we were a little nervous after reading some reviews about construction, but honestly, it was a non-issue. Other than the pool bar being closed, it didn’t bother us one bit. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was bright, clean, and very comfortable.||If I had to give one small critique, it would be that the staff overall didn’t feel as warm or friendly as we experienced elsewhere on the island. No one was rude, just not as outgoing — which stood out a bit because Aruba really does live up to its “One Happy Island” reputation. But it didn’t take away from our experience.||We had such a fun trip and would absolutely come back to the Marriott Stellaris. Between the beach, location, and amenities, it’s a great choice for a fun and relaxing Aruba vacation!
