My husband is an owner. We were visiting the island for several weeks. During one of our non-Divi weeks we attempted to have a meal at Pure Beach.
We sat at the bar. There were 4-5 bartenders behind the bar, all of which were too busy looking at their phones to ask if we would like to order.
The truth was, we weren't wearing divi wrist bands.
Before greeting us, the female Hispanic bartender needed to announce loudly that we couldn't use the room charge system or cash and that they only take credit cards. This is a known process, it's common sense, it's posted prominently on a sign.
We started with water, but also wanted to order drinks. Bartender grabbed the menu from me before I had made a decision on what to order. We eventually ordered an App. Bartender never took our drink order, which should be the next step. We ended up walking out.
I would give a zero if I could. This isn't poor service it's non-existent service. This isn't the first time we've had an issue at Pure Beach. The most recent visit was a hopeful attempt at a better experience. It's just a very sad, it's a beautiful property.
Bar Manager attempted to get our business back, but the damage was done. Will not return.
