Great record shop overall. I bought 7 brand new vinyl albums and everything was excellent except for 1 issue. Unfortunately, my all-time favorite group’s album — a-ha — had a fault. The track Take On Me was distorted, even though the rest of the album and all the other records played smoothly. If the shop would like proof, I’ve recorded the issue and would be happy to share it. A refund would be greatly appreciated. Aside from this, the selection and overall experience were good. Hopefully this was just a one-off pressing issue.

What a great find in Hongdae! Bought Pearl Jam Ten and U2 18 Singles for S$67....place is packed with audiophile on a Saturday afternoon.

Almost gave up looking for if as there's no English sign outside. You have to locate a black building that says "FOR studio" on it and go two floors up (there's a perfume store on the 1st floor). The staff are nice and they play good music but the focus seems to be more on international artists, so if you're looking for Korean/Asian music in particular, it can hardly compete with the likes of LP Love or Mine Record down at Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Center. (EDIT: Place is also good for digging CDs and cassettes.)

After visiting a decent amount of record shops in Seoul, Gimbap was by far my favorite. Great selection of Korean indie LPs with fair pricing.

Offers a great vast selection of vinyls LPs. Once inside, I had to hold myself back. Found what I was looking for and for decent prices too! The logo and member card of the store are very cute. Service was kind and I enjoyed browsing. It's organised and offers a lot. Would recommend coming here if you're a vinyl LP fan. It's in the second floor, as far as I remember, so was a bit difficult to find first thing, but very worth a visit.

Super awesome little record store in Seoul. A must visit if you happen to be in town, well worth the journey!

Probably one of my favorite spots in Seoul. They have an extensive collection of vinyls, CDs, and cassettes (at least for my taste) and at times they hold a huge sale. You don't want to miss this little place if you visit Hongdae. Closer way to get here is take Exit 3 at Hongik Univ Stn and take a left. Then just follow the road, you'll find it at the right side of the street. If you're looking for a specific record, make sure to check their catalogs first on the website or their Instagram.
