Tour The Game of Thrones

Tom did an amazing job of giving me and my family a personalised tour. We went to most places used for the scenes shot in Dubrovnik, while enthusiastically telling something about the history of the town as well. Some of those places we would've never found on our own. I recommend this tour 100% if you are a true fan of the series.

Did a private kings landing tour and it was great, the guide had a lot of knowledge about hame of thrones and Dubrovnik as a whole, this is a tour where you learn alot not only about the show , but the history of the city itself. The tour involves a few steps in the beginning, but he's in no rush so we could take our time , he was also very good with the two dogs we brought 🙂.

We had an amazing time on the Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik with Tom as our guide! Tom was incredibly friendly and accommodating, tailoring our private tour to exactly what we wanted. He had a deep knowledge of both the show and the city, explaining how specific scenes were filmed and how they connected to Dubrovnik’s landmarks. He even brought large photos from the show, which made it easy to see where filming took place and what was added in post-production. Tom's passion for the show really shone through, especially with his insider stories—his sister was even an extra on the show! This added a unique and personal touch to the experience. Even one member of our group, who had never watched an episode, thoroughly enjoyed the tour thanks to Tom’s fascinating mix of Game of Thrones trivia and historical facts about the city. It felt like a perfect blend of GoT and Dubrovnik history. We were also impressed with the extra effort Tom put in—he sent us his pictures from the tour so we could refer back to them. Overall, we would highly recommend Tom’s private Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik. It’s a must-do for fans of the show and history buffs alike!

My husband and I traveled to Dubrovnik in June 2018 and did the Extended GoT tour aka King's Landing + Qarth (Old Town + Lokrum Island) with Tonka. We are big Game of Thrones fans and thought the tour would be a great way to see Dubrovnik and get oriented to the town. Initial communication with Tom was easy and he was very responsive, accommodating and aware of the events happening in Dubrovnik. For example, Tom made us aware that 4 cruise ships were coming in on June 14 and recommended splitting up the tour to avoid the crowds or arranging another day. I feel that other companies would have just booked us to get in as many tours as possible, this was much appreciated! Because of Tom’s knowledge, we chose to do a morning tour on June 15 and finish on Lokrum Island (where the replica Iron Throne is). Tonka was our tour guide and she was very professional, knowledgeable and gave great ‘insider’ information as she had been an extra in a few episodes. A huge plus with this tour is that it is private, we saw many other tours with the guide holding up a sign and basically yelling to ensure the rest of the group heard. As we were leaving many of the attractions, the tour groups were coming which, also shows that this tour is aware and considerate about timing to ensure that you get the most from the tour. Sorry Tom and Tonka that it took so long to write this review. We would highly recommend to any Game of Thrones fan or anyone interested in a tour of Dubrovnik and Lokrum Island!

Me and my dog had a private, personalised, fantastic/ funtastic Game of Thrones tour plus historical facts with Tom. He was very flexible, adjusting the time and order to avoid big crowds and finally encouraged me to do part of the City Walls because my furry friend still seemed capable. Thanks a thousand times, fair price, highly recommendable!

I chose this tour 1 day ago. Im huge fan of GOT. And my wife didnt see any episode at all. But both of us were very satisfied with the tour guide and the whole tour program. I wish i had chosen the complete tour(5 hours) we took lots of pictures. Thank you from south korea

Excellent tour with a friendly, fun and knowledgeable guide. It was great to see where lots of GOT was filmed and to hear some insider knowledge from a former extra. Such a beautiful location too.

My group of 9 LOVED the Games of Thrones tour in early May of 2024. Tom understood what we were there to accomplish and took us out at 8 AM before ANYONE was even in the old city. It was an amazing walk through DBV and we enjoyed getting first hand knowledge of all the details of our favorite show in this incredible city. Tom was communicative and easy to work with and sent us all the photos after the tour. He also was so kind to use one of our cameras for group shots. I'm coming back to DBV next year and we plan to go again! It is a MUST do and go early to avoid crowds. Worth the early wake up!
