Perfect quintessential pub atmosphere and the best service! Tracy was so wonderful and welcoming; immediately made us feel like we were regulars. The food was great all around (butter chicken, buffalo chicken wrap, and clam chowder). if you're looking for a cozy spot to get some comfort food and a cheeky mid-day pint, this is the place to go.

First time here and got the roast beef "special" on Sunday. While the food itself is undeniably tasty, I was a put off and even insulted at the portion size. Even the vegetables were scant (6 WHOLE pieces carrot and cauliflower? WOW! 🙄). For $22 one shouldn't be hungry an hour-and-a-half later and be made to go get a 2nd dinner. I'm not even that big of an eater. The portions would need to be nearly doubled in order to just make it worth the cost. Nope, this place isn't for me at all!

Locally owned and kid friendly! I've been to the Kingsmen Ale House multiple times now with my family for the roast beef dinner special on sunday. My family and I have always had a positive experience, so much so that we try to make their roast beef special a monthly thing. The roast beef dinner meal has always been hot when served and the yorkshire pudding that comes as a part of the meal is great. The seasonal vegetables are always good as well. For $20.00 the roast beef dinner provides good value for the portion size. I've always been full at the end of my meal. My son has had a variety of items from their kids menu and all the meals provide a good portion for the cost. My oldest is two years old and my youngest is 3 months old. The english style decor on the inside of the ale house really adds to the atmosphere and I am happy that I've found a place that is kid friendly but also serves a good selection of beer.

Visiting from out of town and looking for great fish and chips, we decided to try this place after seeing so many positive reviews—and we’re so glad we did! The food was incredible (the Lobster Bisque and dusted fries were standouts), the atmosphere was lovely, and our server, Tracey, was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

My partner and I dropped by for a mid-afternoon beer and appetizers. Chris was an excellent server. The food was great, just be warned the crispy crown onion rings are very crispy. That might not be how you like onion rings, but we very much enjoyed them along with the sausage rolls

Food is absolutely fantastic! Lived in Manchester, UK for 12 years and their butter chicken is as good as any on the curry mile! One of the only places to serve (great) mushy peas. Tracey is an absolute delight as well. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Lethbridge!

Friendly, excellent customer service from Michelle on a very busy night. There were only two servers and a bartender on a Saturday night, and the place was packed. The Duke burger and "dusted fries" were delicious. I liked the crispy onions. The hot pot was excellent. The beef dip was tasty, too, but I won't recommend the fish taco wrap. It was lacking flavour and the side of bacon and potato soup was cold. There are lots of other menu choices to make. We will be back. The atmosphere of the ale house is excellent.
