Not much view....compare to the riverside or promenade of Budapest or Prague. The view is not as nice as another two. But it is good for a walk, cycling or walk your dog. Since most of the parks do not allow dogs,here your dog can walk freely on grass along the river. There are some briges connecting two sides.So it is quite a long walk.

The Donaukanal (Danube Canal) is a former arm of the river Danube, now regulated as a water channel since 1875, within the city of Vienna. It is 17,3km/10,7mi) long and, unlike the Danube itself, it touches Vienna's city center, where the Wien River (Wienfluss) flows into it. The line up of restaurants, bars and chill-out zones without compulsion to consume bring holiday feeling and colorful murals make it Vienna’s “graffiti strand”!

Cool walk by the Danube canal, with various bars along the way, as well as beautiful and interesting paintings everywhere. I assume that during the summer it is even more busy, but the autumn walk was calm and beautiful. Some of the bars were still open and had tables with heaters outside.

Hipster cool place. Good to take a walk or stroll. Also note that the point in google maps is not the location of where the bars or most graffiti is. You would be better going to schewedenplatz u-bahn station.

from the day I came to live in wien, donau is my favorite place, and i drive quite a lot because it is a place full of life and has a lot of movement, especially during the summer it really gives it the feeling of a beautiful coast there around the bridge there are many young people who have fun and the restaurants there are very good one of my favorites is the restaurant (blumenwise) their food is 100 ****** I adore visits worth it
