Tremblant

Mont Tremblant is one of the few resort style villages that genuinely works in both winter and summer. The pedestrian village is set up to be easy and enjoyable on foot, with that classic mountain town feel where you can finish an activity, wander the lit streets, grab a meal, and keep the night going without needing to drive anywhere. I’ve been a few times across different seasons, and it has never disappointed. In winter, the appeal is obvious: it is a substantial ski destination with a wide spread of runs, and Tremblant’s own mountain statistics list more than a hundred ski trails. Even if your group is mixed, there is plenty to do beyond skiing, and the resort markets a large range of activities across both summer and winter that are suitable for families. In warmer months, the same village base makes it easy to shift gears into a relaxed getaway with plenty of activity options still on offer. Food is a big part of the experience here. Tremblant positions dining as a village wide offering with something to suit different tastes, which matches what you see when you walk from one end of the pedestrian area to the other. It also feels like the place continues to evolve, with new venues still appearing, such as Léo at Le Westin Tremblant, which was announced as opening and operating year round. The only real caveat is price. It is increasingly easy for the trip to become expensive once you add accommodation, meals, and mountain access. Tremblant uses variable lift ticket rates depending on timing and trip length, which can push costs up quickly during popular periods. That is the one factor that might make me, and others, weigh up alternatives next time, even though the overall experience remains excellent.

Good solid skiing. We particularly loved skiing straight out of our condo onto the slopes. Great location with a great little town that looks like you're in the Swiss Alps with lots to see. Gondola. Some beautiful views

The views from the top are stunning, especially on a clear day. The pedestrian village at the base is lively and well designed, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops, making it perfect for both skiers and non-skiers. Lift operations are generally efficient, and the resort feels well managed even during busier periods. Snow conditions are usually well maintained, and night skiing adds an extra layer of fun. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend trip or a longer ski vacation, Tremblant delivers a full alpine experience with great atmosphere and scenery. Mont-Tremblant is truly an amazing and beautiful destination — a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and charm. I visited during the fall, and the fall colours were absolutely stunning. The scenery looked straight out of a postcard, with vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows covering the mountains and trails. There are lots of activities available for all ages and interests — from hiking and biking to shopping and relaxing in the village. One of the highlights was definitely the gondola ride to the summit — a must-do! The views from the top are breathtaking, especially with the fall foliage in full display. The Village Market area has an excellent vibe — lively, welcoming, and full of character. There are plenty of food options, from cozy cafés to international cuisines, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, you'll find great choices. I absolutely loved the experience. The whole place has a peaceful yet energetic atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you're there for outdoor adventures or just to relax and soak in the scenery, Mont-Tremblant delivers on every level. Highly recommend visiting — especially in the fall! 🍁

Date of visit: February 15, 2026 Visited this past Sunday, and unfortunately, it was a very frustrating experience. A major lift breakdown led to significant congestion at the north end, resulting in two-hour wait times for the only remaining lift. Even the backup shuttle service offered by the resort had a two-hour queue. We paid nearly $200 for full-day passes but were only able to complete two runs the entire day. While we expected weekend crowds, the technical failures and limited lift capacity made the cost of admission impossible to justify. I cannot recommend visiting until their equipment and crowd management protocols are addressed.

Mont Tremblant has it all: the village, the vibe, a wide variety of terrain, and beautiful. accommodations that are both luxe and affordable. We met up with our good friends and had an absolute blast for New Years ‘26!! At one point I misplaced my credit card and Antoine went above and beyond to help return it to me. Thanks so much, Antoine!!! That saved me a few different headaches and really showed how good all the operations work. A special shoutout to the snowmaking/grooming crew as the trails were in tip top shape. It was the best snow I’ve skied in 15 years. The corduroy was TIGHT, and I loved charging the groomers. Our 11 year old loved how well marked all the greens were, and my printer was able to challenge herself with some blacks because of the perfect conditions. Thank you Mont Tremblant for the memories. This entire community is truly magical, and we’ve already started planning New Years next year!!!

Best skiing on the Eastern seaboard. Village is great. People are friendly. Lots to do. Scenery is amazing. Loved our week long stay. Worth every penny.

Visited the Village in Mont-Tremblant for the first time over Thanksgiving weekend and it was absolutely stunning. The fall colours were in full display — vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows everywhere you looked. It made for some incredible views and photo ops. It was definitely busy with the long weekend crowds, but the atmosphere was lively and fun. There’s so much to see and do - shops, restaurants, outdoor activities -you could easily spend the whole day just exploring. The weather couldn’t have been better -clear skies and mild temperatures made for a perfect fall day. Already planning to come back in the winter to experience the village in a whole new way. A must-visit spot in any season!

It's always nice to visit Mont-Tremblant resort; it's beautiful in every season, specially during fall season when leaves change color. There are multiple paid parking options; the prices vary depending on how close to the resort they are. There are lots of fun activities to do here; zip lining, hiking and biking, gondola ride to the observatory deck, sliding, etc. There are many clothing shops to shop around and restaurants to enjoy the view and the food.

I'm so glad we choose to visit Mont Tremblant during out Christmas break vacation. The staff was very friendly. The ski lines were not long. The ski instructors great. They had movies in the hall for the kids. Ice sculptures outside. Everything about this place was perfect. We will be back!

Another ski area on my list checked off. Enjoyed a nice midweek trip to lovely Mont Tremblant. We were in a ski-in/ski out property, unfortunately due to lack of lower elevation snow it was not this time but a short walk to the gondola. We had snow 3 out of 5 days, so conditions improved all week. All the lifts go to the top. Restaurants, hotel and ski shop at the top. On a low visibility day I recommend taking the 9:30 mountain tour. Ski the north side first for the best snow. Loved the runs off the south chair. Do stop at Le Refuge for a cup of stew & a hot toddy. Tres Bien Tremblant.

I don't ski so I came in summer. My favourite place for a mini vacation. Lots of Restaurant and nice place to walk around.

First time there, we really enjoyed it. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was busy as it was a holiday weekend but they did their best. Prices were reasonable for a ski resort and parking and shuttle buses worked well. One suggestion would be to add a second attendant at the bottom of the gondola, to help people get their gear in quickly, in order to maximize capacity, as some gondolas were going up with less than eight people and when it's really busy every seat counts.

Really loved this resort. It looks beautiful and I can only imagine how amazing it looks during the holidays. A lot to do from riding the luge, taking the gondolas and zip lining. My favorite was the luge. A lot of places to eat and nice shops. Highly recommend it.

So, I'm not one to leave reviews in general and especially not bad reviews, but I guess there's a first time for everything. The skyline luge activity was a huge disappointment for me and my kids. They make it look like the wait is not so long at the bottom (30 minutes) but when you have already bought your $130 tickets and get to the top, you have to wait another hour before your first ride down. You're stuck waiting in the full sun with no water ... I didn't expect tremblant to be the Quebec Disney world. We asked to go down on the chair lift and they refused. So we hiked it down on a steep path. Customer service was closed by the time we got down. The employees were doing their best but clearly the management is just trying to maximize the buck and minimize the client experience. Go do mission laser tag instead and don't spend money on the overpriced bad experience. Sadly

Pretty but pricey. Lol. I just went recently on a weekend trip before Christmas. They decorate the village with pretty lights everywhere and it was snowing so buildings and grounds were covered a bit. Ideally you will want to park either at VIP or P1. P1 is even pretty far in my opinion, like 15 min walk at least. If mobility is an issue, get there super early like before they open and get a spot at VIP lot. Even though you pay, it's usually full and its conveniently located right across the rental shop. I only did rental for skis, polls, half day lift (start at 12pm) and it was about $150.00 for the day. There are lockers on 2nd floor but ideally just leave everything in the car cept your wallet and phone. Whatever is only necessary. That way you dont have to go back and forth. There is a free gondala that will take you up the mountain (its maybe a 10-20min walk otherwise). Once you get to top there are all the restaurants, shops and snow hills. I'm a beginner and havent skied in like 10 years but I had a good time. You can practice on bunny hill (which dont need lift tickets btw) and once more comfortable try the main hill. You can go either half way up (still very high) or all the way to the top. There are many different routes and some are learning, intermediate and black diamond. Overall, would recommend a visit if you havent been. Just make sure you budget for it. Lol

Beautiful mountain and awesome village! With gondolas, that's another plus! A group of us made our way to Mont Tremblant from New York City to check out this mountain. It was cold but the snow was white, fluffy, and powdery! Conditions were excellent for snowboarding, we got lucky! The gondola rides were quick and easy to get to the top of the mountain for various green, blue, or black diamond trails. After our day out snowboarding, we enjoyed the village for dinner and activities such as the escape room! It was fun! Village was festive and the buildings had beautiful architect. By far, my favorite mountain on the east coast!

Mont Tremblant reminds me of Chamonix or any little European Ski Village, which is a good thing, because I cannot just fly off to Europe to ski (and incidentally, I have yet to do so, so no, I'm not a ski snob yet, but I digress). I love the Cambriolet; as we stayed offsite, the walk is not far from Parking 1 (although there is a shuttle bus from P1 and P2) and then you take the Cambriolet up to the ski area. It's a fun ride that takes you over the village and surrounding hotels, shops and restaurants (and you get your picture taken while on it, too). The lift staff are awesome-super friendly and fun at the bottom. The ladies at the quad to the left are dancing and singing as they scan your tickets. The gondola is great-holds 8. So many nice lifts all over the resort, mostly quads. The trails themselves are awe-some. So many great greens, blues and the blacks are pretty nice, too. The food is okay; I had a meh clam chowder (bland) but my coconut curry chicken soup on the second day was delicious. I took an afternoon group lesson (rates are extremely reasonable, but don't forget to tip your instructor-lots of people don't know you should) and it was pretty good. We just had two experts in the group with two intermediates, so he did a good job of differentiating instruction (can you tell I am a teacher, LOL), but I would have liked it to be tailored more to one or the other. It was overall a great mini trip and I might be back if I can afford to stay on site where the real action is after dark. FYI: it gets really cold more frequently in the Quebec ski areas, so wear extra layers!

We trekked up to Canada for a long week of school break. When the resorts in our area had patchy snow, this place had mostly all-natural white stuff in abundance. The resort is well run, European in feel (in a good way) and fun. It's compact in the village and crowded on popular mornings. Get there early if you can. The rental shop is extremely friendly and competent, a great experience. The tickets should be digital, but they're the old-school scan-individually type - the one minus. The mountain itself is vast. I got lost coming back and had to go all the way to the top and come down the other side. Don't do that at the end of the day! Many trails were open, 107 I believe when I was there. Greens are easy, but blues can be challenging even for this intermediate skier. Some ice on steep areas in the center, best to avoid on the sides. The ski village has many cute, and overpriced as you would expect, shops and restaurants. They are packed on busy ski nights. We saw the actual MT village on a short drive to get groceries - which we will go to next time we come. There's a small, walkable area with shops and restaurants Buses abound for return to your rental of choice. Would definitely go again.

SUNDAY April 2 - Sunny Day SPRING SKIING Snow on the slop. Barely no people sling at 3:30. VILLAGE Gravel rock on the walking area. Very Uncomfortable... damage boots/shoes - Annoying !!! ATMOSPHERE Dull - barely no one in the main restaurant. People aren't laughing or look happy . Specifically, the restaurant SHACK ... very neglected. Have to disturb the workers at the bar to get service. All of them that we have experience are nonchalant. Young girls, working look awful, overweight, big hips. OVERALL Breaks my heart to see beautiful INSTALLATION with barely NO people and NO spirit !!! Owner and Manager - have a responsibility to help the worker to understand people go ther to live a beautiful experience! IN GENERAL OVERRATED AND OVER PRICE ST Jovite - Ghost Town TREMBLANT wake up ! Nostalgia of the Fun days at Tremblant !

White Christmas do come true! After an arduous drive from Montreal to the mountain through a blizzard, we were greeted with a beautiful ski resort reminiscent of some of the European ones I have been too in the past. The Pedestrian Village at the foot of the mountain really makes all the difference. It is a bustling town with activities from fine dining, live music, carolers, shopping or just chilling in the pub, it's just simply festive. The Gondola ride, lift ticket booths and rental centers scattered around the base adds to the ease of ski in- ski out concept. There are enough trails to accommodate different ski/snowboarding levels. Although I've seen some higher ski mountains with larger ski-able acres, Mont Tremblant still delivers a fun filled, magical ski experience.

Mont Tremblant is a top notch vacation destination. There is a huge selection of activities to keep everyone entertained. The ski hills and facilities are well maintained. All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly and professional. It is obvious that this is a well managed resort.

First time doing in Canada and mint tremblant didn't disappoint. It's a very cute, European feel village. Car free. With a lot of -expensive- shops and tons of places to eat. You park your car at the base, then walk to the Cabriolet and open tram and it will leave you at the slopes. There's a lodge near the Cabriolet where you can buy your tickets, bathrooms, cafeteria, lockers , ski rentals and an area where you can change. Very well done.

Our friend suggested Tremblant as a good destination for a post-Christmas ski vacation. I haven't skied many places, but I did enjoy our time here for the most part. Likes: * Normally, we shop around for the best deal on rentals, but went ahead and rented on the mountain; what I liked about this was that we could valet our skis and not drag them home. Key because the weather was icy. * There were a good amount of greens for the beginner skier. * The Express gondola to the summit on the south side was great when the weather was really cold. Dislikes: * On the south side of the mountain, there isn't a lot of space between the lift line and the sidewalk and the drop off is steep. It can get very congested with people coming off runs and others putting on skis and getting in line. * Lack of cafeteria-style places at the base. There were plenty of places to eat, but most were sit down places. I would like a place to grab a quick bite and get out and back on the mountain. * I've been spoiled by the Epic pass, where I can track my runs, etc. easily. * Transport; I felt like the options for getting to the base and getting into town from the mountain (they are about 15 minutes apart) was not easy to figure out on your own. Our weather while there wasn't the greatest and the lifts close at 3:30. On our first ski day, we were able to get a decent amount of runs in, but lost a decent amount of time trying to get a quick bite. The conditions were ok, a but icy, but not too bad. On our second day in town, it snowed and then rained quite a bit, which made for really icy conditions on our next ski day. We took the north side from the summit, which really shook our confidence. Given how many blacks were closed, the summit was really busy. None of the beginners in the group made it down without at least one wipeout. Of the two sides, we were more partial to the south and from the summit, it's the easiest run right off the summit. One thing I didn't expect was snowshoers, hikers and cross country skiers to share the greens. With the weather, the greens were crowded and they took a section of the trail that was probably the least icy. Is it expensive? Yes, but what ski resort isn't. Overall, we enjoyed Tremblant and felt like we had good options for beginners. I wish the weather was a bit better (aka less icy), but you can't have everything.

Words can't do this place justice! Skies for two days. The first day was a bluebird day and the second was quite overcast. Once you are half way up the mountains the pine trees are just covered in snow- looks like narnia/whoville/something magical. Take your time skiing down and appreciate the beauty.

I've been to Tremblant 10+ times. The skiing is great but you spend half the day waiting in line for chairlifts. Way too busy every time. It also cost me $146 (CAD) to spend half my day waiting (which is nothing short of larceny). Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back for a long while, as I'm hoping to try Saint Saveur or Bromont for a better experience.

Mont Tremblant was an awesome place to ski and board. We had snow the entire time we were there. So there was always fresh powder on the mountain. We stayed at one of the hotels on the mountain so we were able to get first tracks tickets for the entire time we stayed here. The trails very a good amount, i feel that the trails are pretty well marked difficulty wise and that there would be something for everyone. From long green circles that meander around the mountain to black diamond glades that are not for the faint of heart. They glades were pretty nice as road through the various difficulty one. I was surprised by how much powder was on the trails each day. The lodge was crowded as expected but it was pretty nice. If you don't want to deal with all the people upstairs at the summit lodge, the downstairs always seemed empty when I was there. As for the rest of the resort, there is plenty to do, most bars are open to 3am and there is really no need to leave once you get here so pay the money to park underground if you can. There is a small grocery that is overpriced but if you need something last minute it might be worth the extra money.

I am not a skier, so this is a review of the resort itself and the service in general. I went here for zip lining. I called the week before to see how the weather was impacting events. I was told that they had cancelled some events, but anticipated having everything up and running in the next day or two. I was advised to go ahead and make a reservation because those who were bumped would be given first choice to go the next day, so I made a reservation. I called the day before to make sure we were on. They said no changes. If there were, they'd let me know. Keep in mind that Tremblant is 2 hours from Montreal. I asked if I needed an appointment for a massage at the spa. They said I could walk in. So, I drive up early to get in the spa. No can do. It's sold out. The zipline happens at 5:45. They call at 4:00 to cancel. So basically, they wasted a whole day of vacation with bad information. As for the site itself, I am not a skier so I don't know what to compare it to, but it's basically some ski clothing shops and a ton of restaurants. There is a gift shop and chocolaterie, but that's about it. Not a lot to do if you're not eating or skiing. It's a beautiful place, but I wouldn't be back.

Came here during non-ski season, but still a great place to visit. I did the Ziptrek tour here. This zip line is one of the biggest in North America. Student ticket available, but you need to ask if you have a student ID with you. The tour is around 3 hours and fully guided. There are 5 zip lines in total, and 3 of them are around 1 km long, which means it's super fun! The second one is a bit scary when look from the top, as it is so high, and the next station seems so far away. One of the ladies in our group decided to quit at that point. If you feel scared, go early; the longer you wait then more scary build up inside you. But it's pretty safe and not scary when you are actually doing it. The view is fantastic up there. I'm so glad I came here for the Ziptrek!

Great ski resort in east coast. Facility is the best, trails are really great with beautiful view. village has a lot of shops and restaurants. Great place for family getaways

Beware. They are refusing to refund us and telling is we should still come after we had to cancel due needing to follow isolation protocol in Ontario (family member with high risk covid exposure + symptomatic). Management wrote to us "We understand how worried you are and that Toronto Public Health recommends you stay isolated, which you will be when your family is isolated in the condo, just as you are at home. Rest assured we at Tremblant take this matter very seriously." Really?!! Asking us to break isolation and travel from Ontario? Quebec is currently in a state of emergency due to covid. Mt Tremblant is clearly not following the covid precautions they are advertising, and pointing out they do not value their guests' loyalty or safety.

This is definitely the best ski resort on the east coast. We went there with a group of friends in february and it was very very cold so bundle up We where there with kids and there is something intresting for everyone.They have a daycare at the bottom of the slopes just make sure to reserve your spot. The village is very cute with restaurants and shopes just a bit pricey.Variaty of activities, all informations you can get at the activity center,we went dog sleeding and that was a great experience...I definitely recommend it.

Came here for Thanksgiving with my family. Learned how to skii for the first time - instructors were very patients and super helpful. Had an amazing weekend trying places to eat, enjoying the scenery and trying new things! Would definitely Come back!!

Mont Tremblant is my preferred ski location around Montreal and there are so many things beyond skiing this place can offer. Mont Tremblant the village: frankly I find it kind of cheesy and artificial, but it has everything you need to spend good weekend or vacation, restaurants, bars, brew pub, hotels that may be a little pricy, but if you can afford it pick one with heated pools. Mont Tremblant during the summer: well maintained hiking trails, beautiful views of the Laurentian's from the platform on top of the mountain, a lot of family activities and kids fun, golf and spa Scandinave in the surroundings. The National Park of Mont Tremblant offers more outdoor activities if you like the nature. Mont Tremblant during the winter: I know, it's not Whistler, and it can be really cold, and you may end up skiing in some arctic like winds on icy surface, but come on, this is Quebec, Canada, better embrace it and enjoy your time. There are some nice long ski slopes, and few difficult ones and if you are beginner, no worries, the family zones will allow you to practice. The personnel is making amazing efforts to maintain the tracks even in very harsh weather conditions. The gondola on the South side of the mountain allows for a quick warm up in a cold day, but I really prefer the North side, more rustic, less crowded, some nice glades to ski in. My preferred spot at the end of the ski day: the chalet at the base of the North side has a fire place, get a hot chocolate and sit around to warm up your toes. The best is to get to Mont Tremblant after snow storm. Fingers crossed for another one soon.

The trails are long and well groomed. If one side of the mountain is in terrible conditions, typically the other side is much better. The greens are relaxing while the blues are much steeper but less traversed. Just make sure you maintain top speed throughout your runs because you will always encounter a flat. Even during spring season the mountain was busy on a Monday, while Tuesday simmered down to barely a wait. At the top of the mountain the tools to adjust your board are right outside the emergency/patrol house across the chalet. Plenty of shopping and dining options. Staff is very friendly. Make sure you buy your tickets online to save money!

Beautiful hill but be sure to stay in the village. We stayed away from the village and with only 4 cabs in the entire area it is difficult to get to the village within a decent time or at all. Busy at times, checkout the north side for some great skiing

The best! We've been coming here for over a decade primarily for skiing but we've visited in summer as well. It's perfect for young families. The pedestrian village makes everything easy to walk to--we park our car when we arrive and it sits for the week. There is a great ski school, two learning hills and ample green runs for novices. My 16 yo son loves the more challenging runs and areas of the mountain. Atmosphere is great. We look forward to our visit every year and now happily make the 12 hour drive to get there.

Dear Mont-Tremblant staff, management and owners, Firstly; sorry for the redic late review: But better late then never (which is what my boss says when she comes into work at 3pm) The entirety of my review of you can be summed up in two words (no! not those two words!) Thank You! Thank You, For providing such an excellently priced package deal (according to my Special Friends who paid for everything) even though the dollar is now essentially worthless in Canada (thank you Barak Obama for that one! one...grrrrrr) Thank You for providing me such perfect directions when my Garmin pulled a Hal from the movie 2001 and tried to send me over cliff. (Just me or is "Recalculating!" the word of dread for our times and the harbinger of the coming "Rise of the machines") Thank You for providing such world class room accommodations: I never felt so pampered in all my life. Our lodgings were meticulously clean (I think the cleaning staff is like the main character from Monk) and yet splendidly comfortable after a long day of overdoing it on the slopes and REALLY over doing it in the restaurant. Thank You for providing such a Magnificent Mountain and all that fresh powder for me to fall in (yes, I know that was mostly God, But the man made stuff was awesome to) Thank You for not treating snow boarders like second class citizens as many non-American places do. Really, other places in Canada got that whole Snow Apartheid thing going on! Thank You for providing 5 star cuisines in your restaurant! In America I am used to "resort food" (the reason I don't go to resorts more) But Every meal I had at yours was like dining in a the best North End eateries! Hats off to the cheff! Thank You for the sheer helpfulness of your staff! They even recommended a great route for my daily run! How many other ski places would do that: NONE! Never have I experienced such world class Customer Service! We stopped here in our way driving through the laurentian mountains and had to stay the night because we loved it. Pay for the gondola up to the summit as the views are worth it. However if you stay at the resort most hotels include the ticket to the gondola.

So beautiful. My 5 stars is going to the mountain not the hotels or stores because honestly I wasn't a huge fan. The mountain though was absolutely breathtaking. Also the little village on the bottom is very quiet and everything closes very early even the mountain so be prepared.

Having managed to squeeze in two visits to Tremblant this season I am happy to say "f*k you blue mountain" Tremblant which costs the same for a lift ticket although for shorter hours (since no night skiing) is well worth the trek and the cost of the lift ticket. I used a costco deal for 2 packs which worked out to $80 each but also comes with a $10 food voucher which can be used at the canteen on the peak. Both times I did not really explore the village, was too eager to get back to the chalet and soak in the hot tub so my review is really on the runs and what not. First the negative - really busy depending on whether there is some competition or event. The amount of annoying as hell skiers will cause you plenty of angry moments if you board. With plenty of idiots deciding to stop in the middle of a run without looking behind. As a boarder for only 2 years now I was ready to tackle some blues and these are plentiful on the south and north side. What I like about the runs are they are not just straight down shooters and do ease off to give you a chance to recover and just glide along with friends. Most of the blues are really wide which makes it even more annoying when skiiers feel the need to take up a wide route and just get in the way. The first time i went it was -36 with windchill at the top and to be honest it was not as bad as i thought it would be. Single layer of thermals did the job and the tip would be to make sure no skin is exposed. Also sun cream if you burn easy. The gondola going up is weather proof but it is annoying when they cram in 8 people without taking into consideration the size of some people. The second time was recent and was after a 10cm overnight snow fall and 20cm total that week. I thought they would have done a much better job at grooming the runs but some were so bumpy and difficult to carve that I am not sure if they did that to cater for the majority skiiers that visit the hills or they just did not care. The chair lifts are fine but on one particular cold day one of them did keep stopping for no reason. It was from a quiet base so it was definitely not because of people falling off it. Overall I loved tremblant and would keep going more often in the next season. It definitely is worth trek and booking accommodation nearby is easy enough.

I didn't go for skiing so my review is based on a different excursion. My friend and I booked the zip-lining at night. We were staying over two hours away and confirmed with them that it was still going to happen the night before and even checked the weather before driving up. They said that everyone was still a go. We were scheduled to meet them at 5:45 and they contacted us at 4 to tell us it was cancelled because it was too cold. The temp was the same all day. We checked. We were going to book a spa treatment and were told that we could just walk in. When we did walk in it was all booked up so we drove all that way for nothing. There didn't seem to be a lot to do there either.

Pleasantly surprised with this ski resort. My family had plans to head to Colorado and at the last minute things changed and we found ourselves in Montreal for a few days. Having an itch to still hit the slopes (and having had a blizzard just blow through) we headed to Mont Tremblant to ski for the day. I grew skiing in the northeast US, so I was expecting short runs and probably some ice. Quite the contrary, the conditions in March were great and while not as big as some of the ski resorts out west, this place is large. There are a variety of runs and my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was quite busy but the employees kept the loft lines moving pretty quickly and were very friendly always greeting people and giving my daughter fist bumps and high fives on more than one occasion. Overall I really like the resort and would absolutely consider another trip out here.

My sister took me to Mont-Tremblant for the first time in the Summer for a day trip and it was such a fun first time experience for me. Coming from Southern California, it was fun to see the colorful European style village along with the magnificent picturesque scenery! The lake is beautiful and it was fun to see the many homes hidden amongst the trees. Although the Mont Tremblant village was quite small and the walk through was quick there were several fun filled family attractions around the village to entertain the family during the summer season. From the luge, mini golf, the free cabriolet, the gondola to the too of the mountain, the "beach", kids bungee jump, to the zip-lining, walking through the village, shopping and hiking. I feel there was more than enough different activities to entertain everyone of all different ages. Parking seemed to be a bit difficult during my visit as it was extremely busy during the end of July but there were several lots both free and paid available around the area. It must be amazing to experience Mont-Tremblant during the skiing season and hope I will someday have a chance to experience that! Definitely recommend others to visit!!

I've been coming to tremblant for years and have noticed a steady decline in the overall experience. During the most recent trip I found the whole mountain was very disorganized and I got the sense that the staff don't really care knowing this is the most popular mountain in Canada east of the Rockies. The mountain was ridiculously busy and you were basically dodging other people as you went down instead of skiing! Lines to lifts were over an hour long and people were cutting in everywhere. You'd think there would be a staff person around to keep order when the mountain is this busy but this was not the case. As a result I observed multiple fights break out which is not what you want to see on vacation! What was even worse was the decision to not groom the snow. Ice and moguls were everywhere they weren't supposed to be and I've never seen as many people wipe out/ get injured. Overall it would be great if you could at least be warned of these terrible conditions as you pay $100 to ski until 3pm! For a resort of international acclaim tremblant needs to step it up before they become another has-been resort.

More disappointing than not being able to take a short but well deserved holiday at the resort is the ambivalence their representatives have toward their clientele. We had booked a few days at Mont Tremblant, but had to cancel due to the covid lockdown for non essential travel. initiated by the government. We certainly weren't going to travel cross border in defiance of a provincial mandate that any responsible citizen should adhere to. After speaking with 3 different people at the resort who each ignored our concerns and request to waive the cancellation fee, we were rudely told there was nothing they could do, it is their policy and they would not refund the penalty fee under any circumstance. We had been forced to cancel because of unprecedented circumstances, and consider this nothing short of theft. We will not be planning to visit Tremblant again, they are a despicable and unethical business and we will be sure to share this terrible experience with anyone with know. Regretfully we can't review with ZERO stars.

This review is for the summertime. I came up to the summit to enjoy the beautiful view of the long Lake Tremblant, and it did not disappoint. You can buy round trip gondola tickets with lunch included. I thought the lunch deal was pretty good and you get a choice of sandwich, hot dogs, and burgers with drink for around $10 Canadian. For a tourist area, it ain't bad. In addition, you can eat this outside on the patio that has a view of the lake and hills. I did the 360 trail, which in all honesty wasn't that great. Not that many view points. Most of the time you're in the woods dealing with mud. The observation tower was closed when we went so that was a bummer.

I put my 5 year old son in Mont Tremblant ski school kids group lesson on March 7, 2016. According to the school rules, there are maximum of 6-8 children per instructor. I took some pictures of the lesson: there are at least 10 kids per instructor in all of the pictures. My son fell and broke his arm during the lesson, but no one saw how it happened. He has had a cast on his right arm for the last five weeks, and has been unable to do any sports, or a lot of activities. The ski school took no responsibility for the accident, and claimed that the children were sufficiently supervised. Let this be a cautionary tale for the parents considering ski lessons here.

Last update, promise. Went Friday January 22, beautiful sunny day, not too cold. Crowds were not too bad, though TGV and Duncan had 20 minute waits around 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Why? Because they only groomed 40 runs. And it must have been the new guy - very gnarly, really crappy. They opened one run on Soliel. It was a nice bowing alley in the ice shoot near the bottom - very dodgy and lots of morons flying through with no respect for anyone. At least we got in a lot more skiing than on a weekend - until everything was skied out at noon. I cannot upgrade my rating. It was better, but a long way from good value. Well, at least I made my contribution to the Intrawest fund for disheartened skiers.

What a beautiful resort. The village is awesome right next to the slopes. We skied for two days even though the first day was very foggy, the second day was perfect! Beautiful views and plenty of trails for every level. My only complaint is the ticketing situation. I went on the website, clicked 2 days adult tickets, clicked on Friday on the calendar. Any normal person would think that means a two-day ticket for Friday and Saturday. Apparently, Mont Tremblant only sells weekday or weekend tickets, so if you buy a ticket for a weekday it's actually valid for any weekday of the season and not just the date you chose on the calendar. Why do you even have a calendar as part of ticketing then?! Luckily, it didn't cost too much more to upgrade the ticket to a weekend ticket, but really. I have never been to a resort where you purchase 2 day tickets that aren't for two consecutive days?!

Heaven of skiing especially the runs on the north side! Diff entry recommend staying at the Fairmont Tremblant such a nice hotel with heated pools and amazing restaurants, but going back to the skiing the south side is also really nice and goes straight into the village there are 4 person chairlifts and gondolas,also for the new commercial there's a nice long and not to steep magic carpet.

Do NOT buy Tremblant gift cards ! You will not be able to use them for online ticket purchases, which can sometimes mean a $25 difference. Don't they realize the gift card is the same as cash ?

Awesome resort and hands down, the Queen of ski resorts of Eastern North America. And this is not just a whim, this is factual information of countless surveys. In all, amenities, service, resort size and facilities, Mont Tremblant is unbeatable for an Eastern resort when you consider the ski conditions in the East. I've seen some trashing of the resort on Yelp, some may be factual but much other is in my opinion, unjustified. Here's my take: The resort is owned by Intrawest. Same as Copper CO, Snowshoe, WV, Whistler/Blackcomb BC, and Stratton VT. Intrawest's business model, by-and-large, caters to an upscale clientele. It's not going to be cheap. It's made that way. If you want a Walmart equivalent of ski resort, you may wish to go somewhere else because the corporate culture of Intrawest may not be what you want. And they make enough money on the crowd that is used to Fairmont Hotels, Hiltons, Marriotts and the very exclusive Club Intrawest, where yearly fees range in the five-digits. Add to that the fact that skiing is an expensive sport and you get the intuitively obvious answer... It's Canada. Taxes are high. You have Federal Tax, Provincial Tax and Local Tax. And VAT, where each step in the process of a good or service is taxed. On the other hand, Canadian's have an awesome quality of life. It's Quebec. And with it, is a very typical Franco-Canadian attitude about being attentive to the obvious. Whiney Americans are exhasperating to them. Read the ski report in the morning. If it says in the report that a ski lift is closed, and you go there, expect to be treated as if you didn't know the obvious. The official language in Quebec is French. Yes, French. Not English. And the struggle for their cultural integrity has been a hundreds-of-years-old historical issue between Quebec and the rest of Canada. Like it or not, it is. For many if not most locals, English is a second language that may even denote historical oppression. Learn at least a few words to show the locals that you care. They'll go to the end of the world for you. A good "Bon Jour", ça vas, Merci Beacoups, De rien, etc, will work wonders in this province. I came over to the customer service center the first day I got here right when they were closing, and as I saw other Americans being turned away, I spoke to them in French. I got my tickets and rental skis on the spot - and a complimentary upgrade for both my family and I for first tracks so we could ski a full hour before the rest of the customers. Respect for their culture works plenty and gets results. On the resort side. An entire town with hundreds of shops, from the budget-geared Columbia outlets to the uber glitzy Prada and Bogner boutiques. Dozens of restaurants. A Microbrew serving their own Belgian-style "Devil's Brew". Its own airport with international connections. Two gondolas, 20-something lifts, four mountains. Not bad. As a matter of fact, damn good. The skiing: Intrawest's business model is to provide for the best groomers possible. Their members want that. So most of the runs will be groomed to perfection. Still, the resort is also geared to provide some amazing mogul runs and steeps. As well as an unequaled ski school. The "bunny slopes" are conspicuously segregated in one side of the mountain, allowing for intermediate and expert skiers to be able to ski at speed. Quality of snow is usually awesome. Much of the resort gets enough snow that snowmaking is reserved for the lower elevations. Four mountain faces with enough Black Diamonds to suit any expert skier. Weather: Dress warmly. Winter-time temperatures in the -20F are the rule rather than the exception. And remember you're over 100 nautical miles to the North of the point halfway between the Equator and the North Pole, so in the dead of Winter, dawn will be around 7 AM and sunset will be before 4 PM. And should there be sunspots happening, the events of Aurora Borealis are an incredible sight. Overall, a world-class resort with something for everyone. A place to come over again and again.

The resort is beautiful and super family-friendly. The skiing of course is amazing. I was in Vail this year it compares pretty well. Vail does have better skiing and a nicer resort but this is still a five star ski resort. I will be returning. The amenities are phenomenal. There are beautiful restaurants, shops and a stand that makes fresh maple lollipops. I'm exited to return.

Overall my experience at Tremblant was great, but I was also surrounded by awesome people. So I'll break it down for you ... 4 stars: The village is super cute. Tons of place to eat and drink all within walking distance. The crepe place is delicious and a must visit. The fondue place also wonderful. No matter where we went service was also attentive and polite. 3 stars: The mountain was good, not great. There is something for everyone, so if your party's skiing ability varies its nice. Not a whole lot of difficult terrain, backside is best place to find more challenging slopes with some glades. Three days is enough, especially if you like challenging terrain, you will get bored here if you stay longer. 2 stars: The nightlife is overrated or over-hyped (you decide). Two "clubs," 18+ (can't remember the name) and 21+ (Le Petite Caribou). Both are full of teens, so one night was about all I could take ... rather sit at a bar and chill. As I said, I had a great time because of amazing people. Its a nice place for a relaxing weekend, its not party central as advertised unless you're 15...

Mont Tremblant was my first official mountain ever (not counting the hills in Ontario, of course!) I visited Tremblant a total of 3 times now (FYI we're from Mississauga, Ontario). It's a nice mountain since my closest options are in Ontario! MOST AWESOME: Comparing Tremblant with other Quebec (and Ontario, duh) mountains, Tremblant's town/village is THE. BEST. Renting high-performance ski's here is awesome. TERRIBLE: touristy... crowded, ICY, and the mountain isn't as interesting as Le Massif and Massif Du Sud! ============The hills: I find this a relatively easy mountain for skiers. The NORTH side has a lot of moguls, and we actually stayed there all day! The SOUTH side has a lot of straight blue's and green's. Honestly it felt like "just another ski run" here at Tremblant. NOT that they're bad, but boring. Comparing my visits at Le Massif (beautiful view, curvy runs) and Massif Du Sud (really good tree runs!), Tremblant is just a bigger version of Blue Mountain (Ontario) The Gondola at Tremblant is quite old (and smelly) compared to Sainte Anne and Le Massif's. Snowboards don't even fit in the rack, you'd have to bring yours into the Gondola. In late December, the snow is fluffy and soft. In March, hills are extremely icy (even though there was a lot of snow this winter). For some reason, top of Tremblant is WINDY COLD all the time! I've endured much colder temperatures, but Tremblant for some reason is annoyingly (and strangely) windy at the top no matter the weather! ============Performance equipment for rental and shopping: Shops in the village offer performance ski/snowboard rentals: - Burton snowboards - Salomon ski's AND BOOTS (I love their boots) ---BTW your Salomon rental fee goes towards your next purchase of Salomon ski's, so save your receipt! ONLY APPLICABLE AT THIS LOCATION. - Atomic - and 2 other "general" stores that offer equipment rental on a variety of brands (Atomic, Salomon, Rossignol) - and of course Tremblant's own rental store We visited on the last week of March and every shop closed at 5-6pm. IT SUCKED. Especially after the ski day (last lift at 4pm), I CAN'T go back to the hotel to change/shower if I wanted to visit the shops!! ============Cafeteria, Town, and Nightlife: Lots of food options, a few bars, a lounge, a club, a creperie.. a candy store! Tremblant during high season (weekends, early-mid winter) is pretty lively at nights. By late March (after March Break), the nights are dead. We stayed at the Hilton (ski in/out, SUPER AWESOME) so we were super close to the pubs and shops. ============SUMMARY: RECOMMEND: if you want to try new ski's, rent them at these shops! A new Burton board? Definitely rent and try it out. And yes you can revisit the shop to switch and try another. DO NOT RECOMMEND: March weekdays!!! They closed HALF the lifts, so we skiing with lots of slow beginners (and families) on the same crowded runs. Did not enjoy.

Having never headed over the boarder from Northern VT to try Canadian skiing, we bit the bullet and used our Marriott miles on the Mt Tremblant Marriott hotel right in the center of the resort. Well, we are back in our room relaxing after a morning spent on pristine, long, wondrous runs! So happy to be here. Dinner was fantastic last night just at the hotel cafe. I would definitely like to return again to ski or come hike in warmer weather.
