One of the best pastel de nata I’ve ever tried maybe even the best so far! I’ve tried many before, but none were worth recommending until this one. Mr. Bruno was very welcoming and shared the history behind this traditional sweet. We even had a great talk about CR7 and his mentality! In my opinion, if you visit Lisbon you must try this place and eat it immediately to enjoy the full experience. Highly recommended 💯

I had been wanting to try authentic Portuguese tarts forever. This place had pretty high reviews so we popped in. Stood in line and grabbed a box. Found a seat outside and took a bite. The tarts are super sweet. Crust was nice but the custard was too sweet. It was creamy. Not at all like the Portuguese tarts in California. Not my cup of tea.

If you are in Lisbon, you should not be missing on one of the best pastel de nata we have tried. Very great experience, the staff is very welcoming and you can stay back and enjoy the warm pastels while watching the process on how they make this at the store. Highly recommend as this is a local delicacy.

This is as good as it gets! According to my local friends, Manteigaria is the "second best" in Lisbon. So if you don't want excessive queues, or to go out of your way, then just drop by here. They have a bunch of outlets around the city. After having tried a couple different places including Rossio for pastel de nata, I can say this one is legit 👌🏼

In my opinion, the best Pastel de Nata I have eaten so far. The cake was crunchy, while the custard is sweet and soft. Really make a harmony in my mouth. Will definitely come here again.

Had quite a few Pasteis de Nata during my visit to Lisbon but these were consistent and delectable. The crust was the perfect crispness and the custard was sweet, but had that nice cinnamon punch to it. highly recommend getting an espresso to help balance out the sweetness - as how a Pasteis de Nata should be eaten! There’s regularly a queue for this place, when we first arrived and walking to the hotel; it was queuing down the street! They are open until midnight, so you’ll find at least some downtime to be able to get yours. Had to get two sleeves of 6 to take home with me; they were even queuing as they opened at 8am! They are a chain, but their marketing on the trams and around Lisbon makes it hard not to at least give them a try and I’m glad I did.

For me, Manteigaria is the best! The pastry had the perfect crispy crunchy texture and the creamiest filling I’ve ever experienced. It was absolutely mouth watering. I will have to travel to Portugal again for many reasons and Manteigaria is definitely one of those reasons!

Long queue in front of this place indicates that it is worth waiting for your turn to get those delicious Pastel de nata 😊 not only they are warm and taken straight from the oven but their flavor is outstanding !🤩 staff is very friendly too! Too bad there is not a lot of seating spots outside to sit down and enjoy your coffee.☕️
