I attended the Toronto Fringe Festival for the first time this year and found it to be exceptional with tremendous value for a local theatre experience. It offers incredible opportunities for Toronto-based artists and performers, as well as for audiences who are passionate about live theatre. One standout production was Paper Chase, which cleverly explored the humour and frustrations of navigating bureaucracy, particularly through immigration and CRA processes. The show highlighted how the right support system can make all the difference when things go awry. Congrats to the entire production team, cast, and crew for a job well done. I'm glad to have discovered the Toronto Fringe Festival and will definitely attend again.
