The rooms wasn't so clean. It has some dirties on the carpet and in toilett. What I really liked at the service that was the parking garage under the hotel. The included breakfast was normal, not bad, not good. And finally the location was the best. The hotel is top of the mountain, you can see whole Oslo from the there. It was amazing. And I also like artitecture design of building.

Recently checked in to this beautiful hotel that is very well presented on the outside as it is indoor. Large parking area as well as charging points for the e-cars are complimenting the set up. Our room was spacious, clean with a large bathroom, brilliant mattress, aircon and a fantastic view of Oslo. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant, grilled fish and a selection of traditional Yule meats, complimented by wine. Breakfast was a typical Scandinavian spread of cold meats, cooked meats, cheeses, pancakes, jams, fruits, selection of hot drinks and cold (fresh) juices, sourdough bread, scrambled - boiled and fried eggs. Looking forward to return to this hotel in summer.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we asked and needed. The bistro is limited to what you can have but the food was particularly nice there. The area where the bar is present was very warm, cosy and just a nice vibe to it. Would definitely come here again and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels. Also, the pool and gym was very nice and definitely take advantage of it.

All the staff were very friendly and attentive, from reception to the bar, restaurant, and spa. The breakfast buffet is delicious, with plenty of healthy options. The views are breathtaking. It includes a sauna and spa. We missed having the treatments, but perhaps they weren't available due to the dates. I will definitely recommend it and we will return!

So it's found on a hill. Its not in the main town area. Taxis are available and we used the Bolt app. We found the basic smallest taxi was around £24 into the city, but you'll pay more if you need a bigger taxi with more space. The lounge area was very nice. The breakfast was included and of high quality for a buffet style. Dinner was again, good quality with excellent presentation. We paid for a superior room, which meant we had a view over the city. The room itself was not massive. The hotel gets alot of visitors, both to stay, and to look at the view point out the front. We found this to be very noisy and somewhat intrusive. If you require a quieter room I'd sadly suggest one not at the front with the view, due to the noise. There's a gym and pool at this hotel. This is a good place for families, and very close to the slope, but tranquil, it is not.

No regrets choosing this hotel for stockholm. The view right outside the hotel is breathtaking! We were greeted by this spectacular scenery every morning. Wished we could stay more days here. My family room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all, my family had a good time here. One thing to take note, it would be so more easier if you drive as the hotel is located uphill. Though the metro is just nearby, it is going to be difficult i.with a luggage.

Lovely hotel with stunning views beautiful decor and a cozy vibe and friendly staff. A couple of things that could be improved in my opinion would be the food options for dinner there wasn’t much to choose from especially if your wanting to eat at the hotel every night we would have if there was more options as there wasn’t really anywhere else to eat close with parking a problem we found throughout Oslo. Breakfast was lovely I would recommend some sort of potato option hash brown etc and maybe mushrooms as the only vegan hot food option I could see was beans I think. The swimming pool was lovely but we only got to use once as it was only open 4 hours we would have used more if it was open longer especially on the rainy days when we didn’t want to venture out. I wouldn’t stay here if you weren’t renting a car as there’s not much to do there is public transport but quite far away and we witnessed people slipping over so we didn’t risk the walk down also the parking for the hotel was frustrating just because it feels like your constantly being ripped off we paid £19 to park for 1.5 hours in the city centre and then had to pay to park at the hotel and pay all the tolls driving etc and in my opinion it was expensive with not much worth seeing but that’s my poor research. Overall I was happy with the hotel though.

Google
Big, classic hotel overlooking Oslo. Amazing views, fantastic breakfast, expensive bar (but hey, it's Norway), comfortable rooms, lots of facilities. It's right next door to the famous ski jump and the Norwegian ski museum. The photos mainly show the old part at the front, but most of the hotel is in a modern building behind this.

Yelp
Really a 3.5. I attended a meeting here that took place over a few days where the topic was ironically, luxury adventure travel. The Scandic Homenkollen Park was a decent host with both hits and misses. HITS: The entrance and main lobby to the hotel was beautiful and welcoming. The food served at breakfasts, the included lunches, cocktail party and the farewell dinner were all very very good. The meeting room set up was comfortable and run well. Lots of us commented that the one big culinary surprise was how good the reindeer main dish was at our dinner. I loved the bed in my room with the double separate duvets (I must be in Europe!) - the rest of the room, not so much - see below. Wifi worked well. MISSES: Many of us ended up in very small, dark rooms. Very basic. If there was a room safe, I couldn't find it easily. After I checked in, I had a really hard time finding my room. I asked several housecleaning staff for help, and I was sent down long corridors to no avail. We had lunch one day at the dining area near the main lobby. Service was pretty atrocious and unfriendly. Overall, it served as it was meant to be - a conference hotel.

Yelp
10/10 views from above OSLO probably one of the coolest hotels I've been at. Service, food GYM and overall atmosphere is amazing. If you in Oslo I would definitely recommend stop by for a night I'm telling you won't disappoint. Little spooky Scandinavian vibes.

Yelp
My husband and I needed somewhere quiet, peaceful and beautiful to rest. My sister recommended this place. The room was TINY, the decor of the hotel is very eclectic. Very cozy space and feels very outdoorsy. Restaurant was very tasty and also very pricey. Struggled to get food delivery food options but the desk clerk was very helpful in assisting us. Was a nice cozy spot but may get something with more food options nearby next time.

Yelp
Have a reservation booked here for late April 2021 and was very much looking forward to my stay. However, Scandic has closed the hotel to all guests due to the pandemic. That is understandable. But what is not understandable is that they refuse to issue a refund on the rate. They essentially want to charge me for something that they cannot provide. Multiple appeals have been ignored or met with a flat no. They simply will not provide what I paid them for, which is a simple contracts case. Not to mention, other non refundable rates I had booked at hotels in Norway, Germany and the UK -- where the hotels are open -- were refunded due to the government restrictions that essentially prohibit Americans from entering Europe. But know Scandic Holmenkollen Park and Scandic Hotels wont' do right by its customers and should be avoided.

Yelp
Amazing views all around, beers food a bit pricey but well worth the visit if on a romantic holiday. If into outdoor sports, hiking, biking, or snow sports this is the place for you. Do bring your own snacks the stores around here are few to none.

Yelp
Stay far away from the lobby cafe/bar. Slow service and the worst waffles that I've ever had in Oslo. The view is nice tough.

Yelp
Went for the midday buffet lunch...and, of course, the views and history of place. The food was good...but the five stars come from the setting and scenery. Lovely...certainly worth the time to take the scenic ride out of the city.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay at Park Hotel Rica in Oslo very much.It certainly made my business a pleasure :) its far from the city centre but its got some great attractions near by, its welcoming, friendly and the rooms are great.
