"Urban Education No swimming in this wash—it’s the treated urban waste on its way to Lake Mead. But a brand-new $15 million visitor center offers an interesting education on how the system has greatly improved in recent years in order to allow the Wetlands and its vegetation and wildlife to thrive. The volunteers there can also help interested guests navigate the miles of concrete and gravel walking trails."

This was such an awesome spot to find! It was a great escape from the noises of the city. Definitely felt like we were away from it all. Super peaceful with lots of trails and things to see. It's an amazing spot for a "reset" when the city starts to feel overwhelming. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Wow! Nice job, Clark County! 👏 I worked on the Las Vegas Wash restoration project and we collaborated with folks from the County and all local cities back in the day when this park was an idea in design. You guys knocked it out of the park! This is a great place to do some quasi-urban hiking and bird watching. There are many critters that live in the wetlands and thanks to places like these can be enjoyed by the community.

This place feels like a monastery for the wildlife more than a park for human. And in this case humans borrow this wildlife monastery as a park. It's like we step into the wildlife's world and temporarily jogging and enjoying in it. Meanwhile the true owners are the wildlife. I can hear the sounds of animals living their lives , something splashing in the water covered by leaves, birds singing, ants and other insects crawling on the ground yet in the middle is a paved road that we created.

Wetlands has so many interesting sites to see and things to do. The visited center is amazing, with classrooms and displays. If you can take a walk, go see the stream as it tumbles into beautiful rapids. Great place for a weekly walk or to get out with the family.

I enjoy coming here with my son to immerse myself in nature.I love that it has a wild feel to it.I love the tall blades of grass and the fields that look like wheat,I don't think it's actual wheat, but still very pretty. The water surrounding it is a treat,it's the wash that goes through the city but it's a nice break from the desert landscape that surrounds it.Big bridge to stand & watch the wildlife in the wash.We saw a crane.Great trails for bikers to ride as much as they want.Clean walking trails, most including duck creek are stroller friendly. The benches are a nice touch to just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. They also have a playground. My only complaint is all the houses & development surrounding it.I like the feeling of getting lost in nature and seeing all the development is a reminder that I'm truly not.Kind of a bummer, but still, beautiful place enjoyable for all.

Beautiful wildlife area. Mostly random birds are visible. Water and lots of short pathways. I walked a mile, and there was plenty more to see. It reminded me of a desert oasis version of Norfolk Botanical Garden, where i'm from.

Would definitely recommend. We stopped by while killing time before our flight home from LAS. Saw lots of bunnies & bunnies. Plenty of paved & unpaved trails & really well done signage & maps.

I love the wetlands! It’s my favorite place to go when I want a really long walk. Every time I visit I feel like I discover something new. Even after the fire, there’s still so much to see.
