"Head to Terre di San Vito, a winery and orchard owned by the di Napoli family ten minutes outside of town. Walk the grounds with his sons, Giaccomo and Giovanni, these two very handsome Italian men, and sample the olive oil, the wine, and eat this black carrot jam they make that’s so delicious. You’ll see an olive tree that’s 1,600 years old, and you’ll see tomatoes literally out drying in the Pugliese sun."

I visited Terre di San Vito during my trip to Puglia because I wanted to buy olive oil straight from a local estate instead of a regular shop. I saw that most people join the wine tasting, but since I don’t drink, I emailed to ask if I could just visit the shop and buy olive oil and jams. They replied quickly and said it was totally fine. We went without a reservation, and as soon as we walked into the front area, a few local gentlemen enjoying tomato focaccia and wine warmly invited us to join them. Super friendly! In the showroom, a young staff member explained their wines and olive oils in great detail and let us taste some. He was really patient and knowledgeable. Our group—three Taiwanese and one French friend—loved everything we tried. We ended up buying some wine, a beautiful ceramic bottle of olive oil, and a few jams and preserved goodies. Highly recommend this place!

This was one of the best winery experiences I’ve ever had. Giovanni, our host, was one of the most compassionate individuals I’ve ever come across. He truly cares about his business, the wine, the tour, and the experience of the customers from top to bottom. It says a lot when the people within the business consider even the finest of details. You can tell he considers every aspect of the experience. Truly so blown away by the experience. The vineyard was decorated beautifully, the information crisp, and the whole environment extremely clean and well maintained. The wine- fantastic. The food spread, my god simplicity done stunningly. I recommend this tour, the wine to anyone considering! Thank you Giovanni for making our Puglia trip even more worth it! I wish the day never ended!

🍷 A place where wine becomes poetry – Terre di San Vito 🌿 There are wine tastings… and then there is Terre di San Vito – a world apart, where everything is done with soul, heart, and authenticity. From the very first moment, Elena welcomed us not just as guests, but as friends, inviting us to share in the story and spirit of her family’s land. Every detail spoke of passion passed down through generations – from the centuries-old olive trees swaying outside, to the carefully crafted wines that carry the essence of Puglia in every drop. Elena’s knowledge, grace, and dedication transformed the tasting into a heartfelt journey, where wine was no longer just wine – it was memory, emotion, and art. The food was extraordinary – honest, local, deeply connected to the land – and elevated each wine to perfection. Every pairing was a small celebration of balance and beauty. Words truly fall short when describing this experience. Terre di San Vito is not just a winery – it is a love letter to the land, a family’s dream made real, and one of the most unforgettable wine moments we have ever lived. Grazie, Elena – for your passion, your kindness, and for making us feel part of something so special. 🍇❤️

Giovanni is an amazing tour guide his passion about the place speaks for itself. He is very focused on what is in front of him instead of regular guidelines. The place itself is a Beauty good wines made with their knowledge but with grapes from all over the world paired with local dishes from farm to the table.

Writing my review a little late! - my partner and I came here in May on our Puglian road trip and it was definitely one of the highlights of the entire trip! The wine was incredible, the grounds of the vineyard were stunning and the food that accompanied it all was delicious! We really enjoyed how knowledgeable our hosts were and the information we learnt about each wine and the history of vineyard. Could not recommend more, one of the best wine tastings I have experienced :)

The most amazing experience in Puglia. Thank you so much to Elena for a beautiful day. The food provided was delicious and plentiful- make sure you arrive hungry! And of course the wine, 5 large glasses of superb wine. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. 10/10! Special mention to Leon the dog ❤️ If travelling from Polignano I recommend getting a Tuktuk from the station, €20 one way.

This was one of our favorite experiences we did while in Italy. Loved walking along the property (so beautiful!) with Elena learning about the different wines Terre di San Vito is known for and the stories behind each of their cellars. The wine tasting was incredible as well as the accompanying food!! My husband said the foccacia was the best he had while in Italy. If you have a gluten allergy, they provide alternative options if you let them know ahead of time. Elena’s way of speaking about each of the wines and helping you pick up on the different notes was super interesting. We loved the white and Primitivo wines especially and ordered some to be shipped home. Thank you Elena for a wonderful time! P.S. Highly recommend taking a Tuktuk from Polignano to the vineyard!

We attended a fabulous tasting on our last afternoon in the Puglia region. We absolutely LOVED our time with Giovanni! The vineyard is beautiful. The tasting was held in a fabulous glassed in space around an amazing square table and was overflowing with delicious food made and prepared by Terre di San Vito. And then the wines...just delicious. All presented and explained in detail by such an exuberant and kind host, Giovanni. I highly recommend the experience!!!! Julia Blailock
