Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent rates. House keeping staff are very friendly but no surfaces, floors were ever cleaned during the long term stay. The ceramic coffee cups were never replaced or cleaned and there was no cleaning products to clean yourself. We ended up cleaning the cups with hand soap. I highly recommend the hotel for short stays but not longer stays due to the lack of cleaning. There was a refrigerator but it had the shelving had been removed. I checked out early and moved to a brand hotel.

Hotel has a swanky vibe with an industrial feel and fabulous lighting and decor. The guestrooms are well lit and nicely appointed. We had a TV issue one evening and Matthew from engineering was great! He had to make two trips but kept a upbeat and friendly attitude despite the late hour. The lobby bar is happening and bartender Brendan is awesome. We also visited the rooftop bar and Ethan took good care of us. The only reason I didn’t give this a five star is the housekeeping is hit or miss. One day two rooms out of our family block didn’t get serviced. They left the cleaning spray bottle in our bathroom, missed refilling items like tissues and water and never bothered with the floor. That being said, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The staff and the hotel was amazing. The staff, especially the valet, were super friendly and helpful. The room was incredible. The huge tub was the highlight with being so deep and long. Now the only down side was the bed. It was super uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on a rock, along with the pillows being insanely uncomfortable. For the price of the rooms you would imagine the beds with would be heavenly. However, everything else made up for it.

Hotel Vanderbilt (Hotel V) in Springfield is hands down one of our favorite places to stay — and honestly, one of our favorite places to be. From the moment you walk in, the lighting alone deserves its own shoutout. It’s bright, warm, and intentional — the kind of lighting that makes everything look good and makes it an absolute dream for vlogging and content creation. If you’re someone who films, photographs, or just appreciates beautiful spaces, this place delivers every single time. The rooms are always spotless. Like, impressively clean. Every stay feels fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. And the views? So good. You get that perfect mix of city energy and calm, which makes mornings slow and cozy and nights feel exciting. One of the biggest perks is the location. You can literally walk to everything. Restaurants, nightlife, coffee, entertainment — it’s all right there. My husband and I make it a point to frequent Hotel V because it’s just easy, fun, and consistently excellent. It’s our go-to for date nights and nights out when we want to feel like we actually got away without leaving town. Now let’s talk about the food and drinks — do not sleep on their menu. It may be small, but it’s intentional, fresh, and so well done. The drinks are unique, the food is creative, and everything tastes like it was made with care. You can tell quality matters here. One of my favorite things about Hotel V is how much they support local farmers and work to incorporate local ingredients into their offerings. That commitment to local businesses and community really shows, and it makes the experience even better. Between the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the walkability, the food, the drinks, and the overall vibe, Hotel Vanderbilt earns a 10 out of 10 from us every single time. It’s classy without being stuffy, fun without being chaotic, and welcoming in a way that keeps us coming back again and again. Truly our favorite spot in Springfield for date night, nightlife, and a little escape. Hotel V never misses. 💯✨

The room looks nice on the surface. Unless you're here for an event or something specific downtown you're better off getting an Uber back to the Holiday Inn. Service is great food/ bar is awesome. Bed is not comfortable, shower is mid at best.

Overall, the hotel Vandivort is a nice boutique hotel experience in Downtown Springfield. It is clean and "upsacle" (as much as Springfield can be) and the staff is kind and easy to work with. Reserving online is an easy experience and the lobby and rooms have a great classy vibe. Personally, I do feel it is a tad overpriced and the restaurant has small portions and crazy prices. Fine if youre wanting to splurge, but not really worth going back for. The view can also be quite lacking depending what room you are in as it is downtown and it's a gamble of if you will see a quiet side street or a crackhead shooting up in the alley. Not Hotel V's fault, but unfortunate nonetheless. If you do go, make sure to hit Gailey's across the street for a top tier breakfast before you head out!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Vandivort. The room felt very safe and secure, and it was spotless, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The staff were outstanding, always helpful and friendly. Even the elevator was a fun experience every time. The only challenge was parking, which could be hard to find at times, but that is to be expected in a downtown location. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

After growing up coming through Springfield for Bass Pro, I kind of can't believe downtown is actually so cool now. And Hotel Vandivort appears to be an independent, local Springfield hotel (unlike the Moxy, with the same MO nearby). The room we had in the annex was really beautiful and had good design, a really good shower. Beds were comfy and even though it was a very hopping Friday night, I wasn't kept awake by street noise (I couldn't be sure this would be as quiet in the main building). There were just a couple minor things that could be better: one is that there's only one elevator in the annex and it was shared with a VERY popular roof bar, so that made wait times kinda long on Friday night. And I love love love that there was a record player and records in the room, but ours wasn't working with the speakers, so we couldn't get sound when we tried to play one. Price was fair for how nice the hotel was, and the cocktails in the bar downstairs were really cool mixologist type things, but also totally L.A. prices. Luckily I had vouchers for two free ones due to Hotels.com Platinum status-- with 2 free, buying just one more for our party of three was a total bargain... all staff were really chill and nice and clearly the cool, weirdo kids of Springfield

This has become our favorite hotel along our route from Texas to Indiana. It is always warm and welcoming with a dash of elegance. The rooms, no matter if it's a regular room or a suite, are always super clean and well stocked. The walk-in showers provide adequate water pressure to wash off a days worth of driving. We love the turntable and records in every room. I don't think we've ever turned the TV, we usually just play a record and enjoy the music. Sometimes the record selection is a little thin, but occasionally you hit a home run like a Miles Davis jazz record that really compliments the entire hotel vibe. In addition to the hotel being absolutely top notch h I have to comment on the location. Located in downtown Springfield, Hotel Vandivort puts you in walking distance of some of the best fare the city has to offer. I'm sure during the school year the downtown area is popping but we usually travel during school breaks and it's a nice leisurely pace everywhere you go. Overall, I'd give the Hotel Vandivort six or seven stars if I could. The price point is in line with any other 4-5 star hotel in the area so you might as well pamper yourself a little with an elegant night. We will continue staying here every time we travel through the area. As an added bonus, we were told during our last stay they are about to update bedding throughout the hotel so look for more improvements to come.

We had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel. The staff was very kind and quick to respond to needs. The rooms are spotless and well appointed. Valet service is timely and friendly. We had brunch with friends at the sister venue down the alley. The food was delicious and service professional. A wonderful weekend!

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Springfield Missouri, rooms were clean and well kept. Love the shower/ bathrooms , very roomy with all modern finishes. Lots of construction going on in the area, so the views were not great but overall top of the line hotel, with a great restaurant on the rooftop and downstairs.

I was visiting Springfield, MO for a work conference. I've never been to this city before and after searching for hotels, thought I'd give this one a try. Little did I know I'd have such a wonderful experience. I felt so welcomed from the moment I checked in, with great service throughout including drinks on the rooftop bar and lovely dinner downstairs. I even went back for breakfast this next morning. The room was beautifully decorated, large and quiet. Also loved the tv/channel selection when unwinding before bed. Really hope to have the opportunity to revisit this hotel again one day. Very LGBT friendly!

I come to the area often on business and was excited to try out Vandivort. I've stayed here twice now and I'm over it, I will gladly return to the Fairfield. While the lobby is beautiful and I appreciate the concept, the hotel lacks practicality. Both rooms I stayed in were just odd with very small windows. This time I was put in an "atrium" room which might as well be called a dungeon, it's in the basement. One side is a huge loft with teeny tiny windows at the top and you can pretty much hear everything going on through them. The light switches are fussy, they work sometimes but most of the time I had to stand there and push them over and over. The fire alarm went off when I was taking a shower which is what happens when you put a bathroom in a basement with no fan I guess? Not sure. I'm a foodie and really wanted to like it here to enjoy the room service after a long day of work. Honestly the restaurant is not good. Again, appreciate the concept, but it tries to be something it isn't. The menu ends up being pretentious and the flavors just don't hit. This hotel is by no means a dump but it just doesn't do it for me for the price.

Worst hotel experience ever. Dirty floors and stains in the shower. Beds had black marks on them also. When we brought this matter to the manager was told they had no other rooms and we could, "take it or leave it". We obviously left it and will never be back.

We've stayed at this hotel a handful of times over the years, but it has been a while since we've been here. The downtown location is great. There are lots of bars, restaurants, and shopping within walking distance. It's also near Missouri State University. It also looks nice - it's in an old building and the inside is pretty cool. This wasn't my favorite stay. The staff used to be so attentive and I feel that it wasn't that way this visit. The majority of the staff we interacted with were just doing their jobs. They weren't friendly or pleasant. They weren't unpleasant - just there doing their jobs. The valet guys were friendly, but that did not extend to the front desk. Some outlets in our room didn't work. A few lamps didn't work. The toilet room floor could use a scrubbing. We used their valet service. Someone put our car keys where they didn't belong and we waited for half an hour before they were eventually located. Upon checkout, it was all business. No smiles or "how was your stay", etc. So why four stars instead of three? It is a cool place! The location is great and as far as I know, it's the nicest hotel in Springfield. They just need to take better care of the rooms and go back to being a friendly staff.

Gothic glamour vibes at this super hip hotel in downtown Springfield. I loved the hotel decor, including the linens and record player. The bed was comfy, and the in-room coffee was good. I also enjoyed their lounge robes, and the cheeky 'do not disturb' signs. My only complaint is the size of the bathroom sink and the black out shades that don't block the light. In addition, their rooftop bar was cool, but I've had much better drinks elsewhere. The gym has pretty good equipment, but could use some yoga mats and better towels. Overall, cool hotel with great service. An enjoyable and unique experience.

Gorgeous location with amazing staff. It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown Springfield, MO with plenty that you can walk to and enjoy the area. The lobby is warm and welcoming with great lounge spots and solid WiFi to support your work / play needs. The secondary building also has a great lounge area on the first floor. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. They checked us in without issue and answered a few questions periodically as we stopped up front to find out info around the area. I was also greeted by staff that would walk by while I was sitting in the lounge area. They have two dining options with Vantage Rooftop Bar and The Order. They were both excellent and a must try. Overall: A+ Great hotel to stay at while in the area. Plenty to offer and conveniently located in downtown.

My husband and I stayed here for three days. It's beautiful and located close to all the best restaurants in town. The valet staff was delightfully friendly (and we didn't even use their services) as was the gentleman who brought us extra coffee pods and creamer at the asscrack of dawn before our flight. The rest of the staff was cold and uninterested in us. Unfortunately, it's insanely loud outside in the late evenings. Each night it sounded like people were drag racing up and down the streets; we were kept awake by the sound of tires squealing and engines revving. While this is not directly the hotel's fault, it will 100% stop me from booking there again. There is a small free parking lot across the street, but we weren't always able to get a spot there, meaning we either had to pay to park around the corner or risk getting a ticket on the street. For the price of a nightly stay, it was odd to not have free and reserved parking for guests. Our room was clean and tidy, and while we felt the bed was uncomfortably firm, I know that's a personal preference kind of thing. After our stay we both needed massages, though.

We LOVED staying at Hotel Vandivort! We were there the weekend before Christmas of 2021. We had a wedding to attend that Saturday night close to Springfield and many in the wedding party were staying at the Hotel Vandivort. We stayed in the original building. Our cousins stayed in the newer building. Both rooms were great! Our cousins even had an old record player that worked in their room. We liked being in the original building with the hotel lobby restaurant downstairs. Friday night we had rented (we scheduled this a month in advance) an igloo on the rooftop bar of Vantage (their building next door) and that was so much fun. The drinks and appetizers were great. Then had dinner in the hotel lobby restaurant, The Order. Wonderful food too! It was nice to not have to drive anywhere as it was cold and rainy Friday night. Love the location of Hotel Vandivort, it was fun to walk around downtown. Saturday morning we had breakfast across the street and then I walked around and shopped at the local stores downtown. My husband and cousins hung out in the hotel lobby bar and the bartender Jess made them great drinks and gave them samples of the upcoming winter drink menu. A great time was had by all. Then for lunch we walked over to Casper's for burgers, (see my review on that one). The people that worked at Hotel Vandivort were helpful and friendly. Super welcoming atmosphere. Loved how it was decorated for Christmas. We so enjoyed hanging out there all weekend and would definitely stay there again! Oh the bride's parents stayed next door to us, they had a huge room (forgot what it was called) on the 4th floor and it was perfect for entertaining a crowd!

Me and my husband stayed in the new building for a night. We stayed on the fourth floor all we heard was partying all night. People running through our halls screaming up until 3am. On top of that there is never staff in the building (like at all) so it's a free for all. Second, you have to pay $5 for the parking garage every time you park your car. Or you can pay extra for valet parking. You also have to walk through a sketchy alley way to get to the main building. Our room wasn't very clean either. Looked like the sink hadn't been cleaned off from the previous people, our lamps, table, and complimentary water bottles were all super dusty. Last complaint is I am 7 month pregnant and I'm pretty sure I could've slept on the floor more comfortably. The bed was super firm and the pillows were thin as paper. I wouldn't typically make all of these complaints but it cost over $300 to stay one night. I would definitely look around for cheaper hotels in a better area of Springfield.

Words for this stay. Swanky and Chic. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are very art deco and modern. Check in was fast. Disappointing to find out that the roof top bar was closed on Sunday. The gym was well equipped , towels , sani wipes and water. There are two buildings. We were in the back building, in the Explorer Suite. The room made up for the horrible view of the parking garage and alley . A nice sitting area, 55 inch TV, mini bar area with a small fridge and microwave.. Have to say the complimentary toiletries were the best smelling of any hotel we've stayed at, even the Hyatt. We didn't eat on site at The Order, but we did have a couple of drinks which were made well. The odds coming back to Springfield aren't good , but would definitely stay here at the hotel and would recommend to others. It's a great hotel for a romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Vandivort for one night while visiting friends in Springfield, and overall, I was very pleased with our stay here and thought the hotel was hip and comfortable. The location is convenient to downtown, and there is very accessible parking. The hotel is split into two buildings separated by the street, and we were in the newer building. The suite we had was very large and the bedroom was a corner room that had plenty of windows. At the same time, privacy was not high because you could still see in from the outdoors and the building is only a couple of floors high. The bathroom was quite large and the shower was almost too large. (So big that the soap dispensers were about 3 feet away from where the water was. But I guess that's better than having a shower that is too cramped!) There was a old fashion record player with some 1950s and 1960s albums, which I thought was an interesting touch. The bar area came with plenty of glasses for some small entertaining. With the layout of the room having the living area separated from the bedroom, we did have some people over to visit and the sitting area was not "in" the bedroom. Another aspect I appreciate  about this hotel was that it accepted dogs. In the lobby there were a few dogs in so that certainly is a positive aspect of this hotel. There was even a doggy welcome bag! Overall, I thought the hotel was very modern and sleek and centrally located. A very good option at an affordable price relative to the quality.

This is a stunning hotel, with modern furniture and high ceilings. The service here was impeccable and I loved all the public work spaces in the lobby. The restaurant is fantastic as well.

I reserved the master suite for my wedding day this last weekend and unfortunately several major things went wrong. I called ahead of time and asked if I could have my wedding dress steamed prior to the ceremony, and was told that they do not offer someone to steam my dress but they had a steamer they could send up to the suite so I could do it myself. Totally fine, but the day of durin in they said they do not have a steamer. The gal told me there should be an iron in the suite though. So I find that and it's broken and leaked water everywhere. Then we realize that one of the couches legs was broken and so the couch was completely lopsided. I politely let the person know at the front desk all of these issues, but was never offered any reconciliation. Considering how much money it costs, I really expected more.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is great! During our stay we really enjoyed the attention to detail in our room. The shower in our room was absolutely wonderful and I liked the layout of our room. The rooftop bar is absolutely stunning and serves amazing drinks.

Awesome hotel. We stayed in the annex and went up to the rooftop bar and had drinks while watching the sunset. Great service. The valets did a good job getting out car in and out a couple times and recommended some good jazz music. I like that check out is at noon.

Recently hosted my second event here and the staff, food, And accommodations are excellent. Brought in a guest speaker and author who commented of all the locations he visits, Hotel Vandivort has been his best venue - mine too. We worked with the staff to secure 12 rooms, menus, special request...all w/o a hitch. Perfect day.

This is a super swanky modern hotel! Love the room decor, and we found our double queen room very spacious. So my hubby ordered an amazing cocktail: the Smoked Old Fashioned - $11. It's made to Hollywood standards. Made from Missouri Spirits local bourbon, house made simple syrup and bitters, poured into a glass (prepared with captured fresh smoke) over a single rock ice cube and garnished with lightly flamed orange peel. Do yourself a favor and order one. We got two.

I went to Vantage a week ago with friends while visiting from out of town. The space is so swanky, the view is awesome and the drinks are top notch. HOWEVER My credit card number was stolen from using it at Vantage. The charges occurred shortly after using my card here, so I know it was stolen here. One of the friends I went with never had his card returned to him after paying his tab. When he went up to get his card from our server it he been sliced on the top. The server gave him a run around excuse "it got caught in the door" and "I thought you were going to stiff me" were two of the lame excuses the server gave. Vantage *definitely* has some bad apples among its staff. It hurts to leave this review because the space is awesome and the drinks were great!! If you're going to go... USE CASH!!

Beautiful hotel! We had an amazing experience and loved the theme. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and we had no issues during our nights stay. Highly recommend!

A beautiful observation deck and equally nice decor. The drinks were also very good. Our server was attentive to the group. They also have 3 heated domes for outdoor seating.

Absolutely love this place from the balcony suites to the lobby To the rooftop lounge. Only having been in Missouri for a little over a year this is our new favorite place to stay we love a weekend getaway and we plan to visit here at least once a month thank you to the staff especially Zach the general manager for giving us such a wonderful experience each and every time

So if you're anyone who's anyone in Springfield, Missouri you know about the selfie mirror at Hotel V. I was skeptical, and I was proven complete wrong. I had been a awake since 3am and obviously have no makeup on, and the photo attached has some of the best lighting I've ever experienced. For you folks that give zero f's about selfies, I only tried the cocktails... they were amazing works of art. Each one I tried: wanderlust, Bollywood, old fashioned, sgt pepper, and it's got a la croix in it; were absolutely delicious. They change their menu regularly and have new creations each week with their weekly feature. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty comfortable even though the hotel is considered high end in Springfield. My hubby had on shorts and a T-shirt and fit right in (mind you it was nice shorts and a nice T-shirt). I would definitely love to try the food and the hotel at some point! What I liked the most is the atmosphere says get this cocktail for $20, and yet they were $9-12, perfect for my budget! I sadly didn't get the waitress's name, but she explained the smoked old fashioned with beauty and made all three of the men in my group get it without looking at the menu, and they loved it. We had a wonderful time!

It has been quite some time since I have been THIS in love with a hotel. And I am no stranger to upscale stays. Check-in was a breeze, or at least it looked like it from where I was sitting in the lovely lounge area while the other half checked in. Within minutes, and with a complimentary chocolate in hand, we were on our way up to our room. Lights were on, music was playing from the speakers in the ceiling, and the space was very nicely decorated. Felt like it was maybe too good to be true and the bed was going to be uncomfortable or the shower have terrible pressure, but it really was all utterly perfect. There was even a touch of nerdiness that I absolutely loved, with the assortment of do-not-disturb door hangers. The first night we were worried about it being Friday and the bars in the area being loud, but no issues. The second night we went down to the hotel bar, The Order, and had delicious crafted cocktails with our bowler-hat enthusiast bartender. He even stowed a beanie we left behind which we returned for the next day after checking out. Throw in that we used the HotelTonight app to book our stay, costing something around $125 a night if I remember correctly, and you have officially blown my mind with this hotel. Truly impressed with the accommodations and staff, and will definitely have friends and family stay here when the need arises.

This was my favorite hotel from all the hotels I stayed at on my way in from Arizona to Ohio. The room was modern and up date. They included a nice gourmet cooked breakfast tip not included. The history of the downtown Springfield MO, was very interesting I couldn't stay long as I was traveling to Ohio but had I had more time I would of done some more walking. I'd stay again if I had the chance...

This boutique hotel would be impressive in any city/town. Historic building with sweet modern decor that is comfortable, not stuffy. Lobby is impressive, with "pockets" of casual seating for groups meeting or for drinks, with the hotel bar/restaurant (The Order) adjacent. Clean workout room, if not a bit sparse. Rooms are very clean, cleverly decorated (my room in the new addition had a vinyl record player with several albums to choose from....that's pretty cool. Rooms have blackout curtains and nice showers. TV quality is decent, not great. Best hotel in Springfield for location...walk to any downtown restaurant, bar, site. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Beautiful views on the roof deck! Great selections of drinks, and great servers! Definitely a fun little place to start your night with a good cocktail!

My husband and I stayed our wedding night in the Surveyors Suite. It was everything I could have imagined and more. It was decorated with the finest detail and impeccably clean. We walked in wearing our wedding attire and got applause from all of the guests in the lobby, which was fun. We were greeted with amazing service both at the valet and at the front desk to check in. We were actually awe-struck at the beauty of our room. It was exactly like the pictures, but the ceilings seem so much higher in person. The view from our room overlooked Walnut Street which was neat in the morning. Everything was perfect. My fiancé and I ate at The Order in the morning and it was fabulous as well. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We wouldn't stay here for any old reason, but to splurge for our wedding night was perfect.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Clean, spacious and very beautiful room. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The bedding and bed itself was very very comfortable. The front desk staff, housecleaning and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a flight canceled and we're stuck in Springfield another night and the hotel staff got me and my children into our room at noon so we were able to relax and have all of our bags with us. Those little things are so appreciated especially when traveling with children. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel and I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Springfield.

Wow! Exceptional service and an amazing room. Only complaint was that the water wasn't hot in the bathtub, but after at least 10 minutes of running it did eventually get hot. The staff was on top of everything and very accommodating. Thank you

The Vandivort, without exception, is the premier hotel in Springfield. The rooms are faultlessly decorated and come with all the supplies you need. The rooftop bar has the best drinks we've had. The staff was extraordinary, friendly, and accommodating. It's hard to find this much atmosphere in a big city hotel. We will return. Pat Signorino

We loved our stay here. The rooms are spectacular. The staff is amazing. The Sunday brunch at the order is the best. We loved our stay and will stay again. Worth every penny. We were in their new building. It smells amazing. Lay around I the robe. Take a shower. The soaps smell great.

I did not stay at the hotel but I met friends for drinks and dinner. The hotel is a boutique hotel. It is smaller but has lots of character. People are tired of being let down by the chain hotels so they are starting to migrate to the boutique hotels. The hotel has a beautiful lobby. On one side it has a seating area that has long wooden tables and a very hipster feel. There are unique lamps that are eye catching. The other side of the lobby had two big seating sections divided by decorative walls. You can hang out there and have drinks or dinner. They have big couches so it's very comfortable. There is a full bar inside the dining room. There are four individual bathroom on the floor below. Their is a very funky stairwell that you use to get down stairs or their is an elevator. I've heard the penthouse suite is an amazing place. Hopefully I will get to stay there at some point.

Love this place!! We haven't stayed in any other rooms besides the suite and they are great! They have stocked mini bars with snacks in the rooms and separated area seating area with another TV. As soon as you enter the room the blinds, lights and music invite you in. The staff will go out of there way for guests, they brought us water bottles late in the night and they even mailed me my straightener that I left behind. They do have an exquisite bar in the lobby with some tasty food! We are viewing the ballroom for our wedding venue possibly, can't wait!

I wish this was a chain. I would stay here every time. Service 10/10, room 10/10. Full sized closet with plenty of hangers, well stocked bathroom (q tips, nail file, and make up wipes, tons of towels.) Gorgeous room - even has a record player with a collection of records. The quality of service and amenities vs price is insane. Highly recommend

Heard the radio ad about the new chef and came back to the Vandivort for brunch after a business meeting after a long hiatus. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Everything was spot on....cured hand sliced ham was smokey and salty (just right) and paired very well with the poached eggs and muffins all with a crisp and seasoned side of side hash brown potatoes. I love the space, location and the ownership and after this positive experience will be back.

I stayed on business. The noise from the hallways and other rooms is so loud I did not sleep at all. I heard every footstep and word. I first assumed the people upstairs were having footraces in high heels, but I think the building just amplifies everything. I stayed in the new building.... perhaps the old one doesn't have this issue. The hotel is really beautiful, walking distance from lots of restaurants, and staff is great - but if you need to sleep, I'd avoid the new building (ask at checkin) or perhaps try to get on the top floor away from adjoining walls. If I was here for fun, it would probably be fine... but for work, this is not something I would do again - unless I could get on the top floor.

I'm a Uber eats delivery gal and this hotel made me want to stay the night, drink, eat and be merry! The staff were super friendly and this place smelled amazingly clean!

Just love boutique hotels and we would definitely stay here again. Parking is a little inconvenient but very friendly, accommodating staff. The lobby has several stylish areas for gathering apart from the restaurant (The Order). Nice kitchenettes in the rooms and we especially loved the expansive windows with several layers of curtains that opened and closed electronically.

Fantastic boutique hotel in Downtown Springfield. Friendly staff--valet and front desk staff were warm, courteous, and engaging. I especially loved how the decor brought out and accentuated the history of the building. The mood lighting and wall art were great touches. Comfortable beds and well-stocked with snacks and drinks.

GET THEE TO THE V!!! Springfield has been gasping for something like Hotel V to infuse hipster vib into a slowly southward migrating population! Kudos to the McQueary's for their visionary aptitude (& deep pockets)! Viva la Hotel Vandivort & Downtown!!! 2nd visit for dinner. The 5 goat cheese rangoons were quite tasty & non-appetite killing for my main dish of Quinoa, Beet, Arugula with Chicken Salad -- healthy & hearty!

We arrived in Springfield from Nashville, TN at 2:30am and our Airbnb was a disaster! We had to find accommodations at the last minute and Hotel V came through!!!! They were so kind and helpful. Literally, they saved us from sleeping in the car. It's so clean and high end inside that I was so extremely impressed. Stay here, y'all!

Beautifully repurposed building, formerly a Mason's lodge remodeled from the lodge to office space to the present iteration. Pleasant atmosphere and staff. Investigate the "Atrium" designation of rooms on floor one, actually sub street level, the effect gained by an opening let into the ceiling allowing a glimpse of windows at street level twenty feet above. Distinctly subterranean complete with the echoes. At least for me, not the experience I was anticipating. The room was nicely appointed with above average amenities. Bar and restaurant off the entry-lobby with a view of the busy and diverse street life. Location is convenient to old town's many activities.

Who knew something this cool could exist in Springfield?? This place will WOW you. I felt like I was in an old Swanky hotel in SF. Used a discounted website to book, so was well worth it! Located in walking distance to all of the spots you wanna hit up. There's a small bar/restaurant inside that's great.

We stayed twice in the same week, three days apart. Our second experience was far superior to the first. The Atrium rooms are below grade...odd. We found it too be noisy. The room is nice, but has overly fussy and, in some cases, illogical light switches. I know this sounds like a very minor issue, but in a room with virtually no ambient light, practicality should be the word of the day. Our room had one window at the top of a high (30 ft?) shaft at one end of the room. It had a shade, which was thankfully down when we arrived. We were unable, despite several attempts to make the automated shade go up. A miss. Most of the lighting had buttons that you held down and then brightened to full and then went back off. Frustrating when you just want to turn a light on and off. There's a large chandelier that wasn't wired for such theatrics, so it launched into a dizzying array of flashes whenever it was adjusted. A miss. The bathroom lighting was just bizarre. The randomness with which the lights worked with the switches was maddening...again, in a room with no ambient light. A miss. This room also had a wooden frame around the box spring. We noted that it seemed unusually high and would likely cripple one of us during our stay. It aligned perfectly with my knee cap, so I was the unlucky victim. A miss. Our second stay we asked for a "different experience" and were placed on the third floor of the second building...it's a short walk, across an alley from the front desk. The "lobby" which unmanned in V2 is a nice space. A couple was having their engagement photos shot when we arrived. This building is quieter, but does have a lounge, open to the public, on the roof. It's a nice space to watch the sunset and draws quite a crowd leading up to that, so you'll likely wait for the single elevator if it's in the hours leading up to sunset. A miss. A separate elevator should have been installed for guests going to the room floors. The room floors do require key card access, but since you're all in the same elevator, it's a bit of a security miss, too. Overall V2 is the better option. At nearly double the price of other area hotels, it's a place we are glad we tried, but it is unlikely we'd return.

The absolute best option for a place to stay in downtown Springfield. You can walk to everything downtown has to offer, and even over to campus. It really feels much more expensive than it is! The furnishings are really unique and thoughtful.

I have stayed here multiple toile times. Although it is expensive and the rooms are amazing, I have had the worst experience riences here. I have been moved around to multiple rooms during one stay. I was next to a party over a weekend I had to work and so they moved me to another room. I was told by the assistant manager that he would comp me on my next visit but there was no record of it and he left shortly after. I had a room where the heat didn't work the entire time I was there. On my last stay, my room was already paid for but they charged me a second time and then gave me attitude when I asked them to address it. Nice rooms, horrible sound proofing, bad service. And you have to pay to park now!!!!!
