Kimsoonrye soonsal chicken 김순례 순살치킨

I tried the spicy original boneless fried chicken, and it was absolutely amazing. The pieces were perfectly crispy on the outside but still incredibly juicy on the inside. Every bite had that satisfying crunch followed by tender, flavourful chicken. The spice level was just right: bold, flavourful, and addictive without overpowering the taste. I also ordered the sweet corn fries, and those were a hit too. They came out super crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly flavourful. Sweet, salty, and the perfect side to the chicken. Together, the combo was honestly delicious. If you’re looking for juicy Korean fried chicken and a side that actually stands out, this spot is definitely worth visiting.

This is a super super cheap Korean restaurant in downtown (Korea town specifically). The space was quite small, we are a big group (6 people) and have to wait for quite a long time. The restaurant is really packed, and sometimes there’s line up outside (like us). Inside, The space was really cozy and chill. It’s a little small, I always bump into someone when I move in and out of my seat. The price of this space is really really cheap, especially with that quality, it’s a 100/10! The chicken was crispy, well marinated, juicy and super tasty! The tobokki one is really good I tried it so many times and still loved it. Also, the portion is big so we can share among the group. Even the service takes quite a longer time than typically, I saw only one staff running cashier, front, serve the food so that’s acceptable and actually doesn’t really affect our experience!

Food is good, we had a Korean fried chicken and we were forced to take away even after trying to get a table multiple times. The hosts were unwelcoming, not sure if because of the race or not, the place was full when we visited, but they didn’t even ask us to wait, after asking multiple times she said it will take at least an hour to get a seat whereas there were no waiting. Anyway we just took it away and they charged extra for credit card, the food is a bit expensive, but I guess all the Korean restaurants in this location have similar price for fried chicken.

We came with friends (who absolutely love this place) and weren’t disappointed! The beef bulgogi and the chicken were both really good. The chicken dish with chewy noodles was very spicy even though we ordered the « non spicy » one - so be sure to double-check with the waitress if you're sensitive to spice. Service was really fast.

this place is underrated! all the choices of sauces are so so good. the batter is not too thick so it doesnt feel too heavy. our fav would be the sweet cheese flavor 💯💯💯 tokbokki tasted slightly overcooked and the portion is a bit small but it tastes like good home food anyway~

This restaurant truly transports you to an outdoor table in Korea! In fact, from the moment you step inside, the decor makes you feel like you’re in a K-drama. I brought my friend here for her birthday, and we were absolutely delighted with the experience. The food was exceptional! We tried the rose tteokbokki, which was incredibly delicious, and the “all-in-one” combo. This combo lets you choose six flavors of boneless chicken, along with fries or rice, and two pops. As a party of two, we found the portions very generous, especially the tteokbokki, so we had to take some of the chicken home. However, the combo would be perfect for a group of two if that’s all you order. While they don’t offer bone-in chicken, the variety of flavors and the reasonable pricing more than make up for it. The owner/server was super attentive and kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already. I’m looking forward to coming back with my family!

First off this is a cute small restaurant, I found myself here for lunch with a few friends. Not a ton of seating but they are efficient with serving time. The decor is nice overall, but while looking interesting we weren't huge on the seating, which was a bit awkward - the picnic chairs are too low if you're short and the benches are too high if you're average-tall. Food-wise we tried 5 different kinds of chicken, all the sauce based ones were yummy (esp the spicy flavours), but the dry seasoned ones were too dry (maybe that's how it should be??). I also enjoyed the beef bulgogi with rice. Overall the food was good and the portions were sharable :)

This place used to be so much better I think management has changed. The decore changed, now there are sheets on the wall with folding camping chairs?? Before it was cleanly setup and nicely designed with wooden tables and chairs. Portion sizes are now so much smaller and service was aloof. They used to have such nice packaging now just regular generic take out boxes. There was a nice older gentlement before now a bunch of young folk that could care less. I paid 50 dollars for two small takeout boxes, the chicken while still alright, you now get half the amount for the same price. I guess back to the Fry or Sarangs.

Yelp
Drove all the way from the States to visit the city and had am immense craving for Korean chicken. Came upon this spot bc it was nearby and the photos of different boxes of chicken looked so good. The staff was really nice and and vibes were honestly wonderful. Loved the warm tea they served on a cold winter day. The food was great and satisfied our deep craving. We just chose the chicken with the stars to indicate they were the most popular. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was intrigued when I saw a photo of the chicken box that came in many (6+) flavours. This used to be the original location of Yummy Restaurant. They have now transformed it into a camping theme! The lighting is dimmed and some chairs were folding camp chairs! The boneless chicken was extremely juicy and tender and the flavours were well balance. I tried the spicy soy garlic and garlic mayo , loved both. Need to come again and try the other flavours.

Yelp
Excellent Korean fried chicken. We ordered the set where you can choose two and it didn't disappoint. I love the little pieces of tteok in there as well- a nice textural change. The fries here though are EXCELLENT omg. We ate all of the fries and took home leftovers of chicken. I hate the camping chairs though if you have a bad back/neck- order takeout instead! Would come back.

Yelp
This was my first time going to this place the ambiance is very relaxed its a smaller restaraugnt and they do fill up the prices are very affordable. This is a good place to go with a small group the staff is very nice and the service is quick we ordered and received our food shortly after, it was very hot. The plain chicken was good but out of the three it wasn't my favourite but I prefer my food saucy so that's just preference. The spicy soy garlic wasn't very spicy but it was flavored well the Galbi mayo was also very good flavor was nice it was a little bit sweet but everything complimented eachother well the fries were very good so crispy and fluffy similar to Costco fries. Tokpoki was not my favourite but I don't like the texture of rice cakes that is a personal preference everyone I went with enjoyed it and they said they would order it again

Yelp
Thought we'd like something a little different and came across this place. The carpet is astro turf, tables are low, and the chairs fabric lawn type chairs (very comfy). It reminded me of a cafe I saw on a TV show about Korea. I loved the decor. It didn't photograph very well, but once inside it was really cool, a very relaxing atmosphere. The lunch special was an excellent deal. It came with coleslaw and chunky pickled radish. Slaw was a little different. It had mayo and ketchup on it. I was unsure at first, but it was good. The flavour mix worked. The chicken was crisp and for the full price, it was a large portion and an excellent value. We had the spicy original and the garlic soya. I'd definitely order these again, but we will be returning and trying the other flavours. I used to think other fried chicken was the best, but Korean fried chicken is. And this is good. The service was excellent. They bring cold water when you are seated, are quick to explain the specials, deals, food prep. The kitchen was spotless and clean. This would be a great place to go for dinner or a late night snack with friends. The food is totally shareable.

Yelp
I have only ordered take out from here, and every time they always arrived well packed! The last order i got was their quadruple box, and the flavor i chose were Cheongyang pepper mayo, thai chili, sweet cheese, and spicy soy garlic. I love spicy, if you can't tell :) the spiciness wasn't too crazy, but it's present. The spicy soy garlic is also a little sweet. The thai chili is on the tang side while cheongyang pepper mayo is savory. There was a promo in ubereats where an order over $40 gets a free cup tteokboki, and i didn't expect much of it. HOWEVER, that tteokboki was one of the best I have ever eaten. The sauce was not too runny, and taste was just right.

Yelp
I shared a Triple Box and Gimmari with my friend and had a few beers. Their chicken isn't big, almost like pop-corn style, and I quite like it this way as each mouthful is full of the tasty sweet sauce. The flexibility to try out different flavours, whether you order half-half, triple, quadruple, or all-in-one, is perfect for sharing no matter how many people you have. In the midst of all the Korean food competition along Bloor Street West, this Korean Fried Chicken specialist offers a unique choice for casual diners. The restaurant isn't too big but has quite a few tables to sit and I see many people ordering takeouts. The atmosphere is very laid back and I highly recommend having a few drinks with fried chicken after a hard day at work.

Yelp
Tender yet crunchy spicy chicken. Rice cakes embedded in the sauce. Absolutely delicious.

Yelp
My new favourite KFC place! Can't decide which flavour to get? You can try all 6 in 1 for an unbeatable price! Original Sauced: Umami flavour with just the right seasoning! Original Spicy: SUPER spicy and my favourite one of the night! Thai Chilli: Sweet, tangy and not too spicy! Green Onion: Classic that can never be beat! Chipotle: Unqiue and different! Spicy Soy Garlic: Another must get classic! All orders come with complimentary side dishes and tobokki ANOTHER MUST TRY: Cheese Buldak - my new Korean favourite! Fire chicken with instant noodles and cheese that's so comforting

Yelp
A friend and I were in the mood for Korean FC, so we decided to give this spot a try. We had the Tuesday special, which was 30% off large original chicken. The chicken was amazing, I loved the sauce they used. The fries were ok (a bit on the salty) and the kimmari was good too.

Yelp
This is a new Korean Fried Chicken place in Koreatown. They serve mainly Fried Chicken (of course) along with other Korean food like tteokbokki and stir fried rice. I got their All-in-One Box on UberEats ($~50) which lets you choose 6 different types of fried chicken. It also comes with a small side of pickled radish. For most of the chickens, there are also some small fried rice cakes mixed into it. There's definitely enough chicken to feed 3-4 people here. I choose: 1. Soonsal Fried (후라이드) 2. Original Sauce (오리지널) 3. Original Spicy Sauce (오리지널 매운맛) 4. Soy Garlic (마늘간장) 5. Thai Chilli (타이칠리) 6. Galbi Mayo (갈비마요) There are two other flavors that I didn't get - the Spicy Soy Garlic (마늘간장 매운맛) and the Cheongyang Pepper Mayo (청양마요) The chicken was delicious and keep in mind I got this delivered, so I can imagine eating in person would be even better! My personal favorites were the two 'dry' ones - Soonsal Fried (1) and the Soy Garlic (4). Also, all the chicken is boneless! Note: The Original Spicy Sauce (2) and Thai Chili (5) are quite spicy.

Yelp
Very nice Korean chicken. Almost 99% of the same tastes like real Korea chicken. I really like the food and the soju drinks they have. We order a large portion and it's more than enough for 2 people who are really hungry , so have in mind that large portions it's definitely big. Will for sure come back.

Yelp
Green onion chicken was my surprise favorite. Got the all in one 6 flavor combo. Enough chicken for 4. Spicy fries were really good too.

Yelp
I went to their pop-up shop in Korean Culture Festival. We got galbi mayo chicken and it was awful and tasted burnt. And there were lots of bits of char in the bottom of the clear sauce. So it's visually obvious that the sauce had some impurities. Unbelievable that they still decided to serve this anyway.
