"A clear viewing platform that hangs off of Europe's highest cliff, offering dramatic coastal vistas and an adrenaline-inducing experience—definitely not for those afraid of heights." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Ok. I’ve been living in Switzerland for 12 years so I didn’t expect this to be a big deal but it is incredibly impressive to step onto this viewing platform and look down and really see that we’re about 600m high! The views were incredible and it’s worth seeing the different plantations below etc. parking was sufficient around but clearly busy and you could buy a ticket for like 5 euros to go into the viewing platform. Bathroom needed 1 or 2 euros in cash only.

Absolutely stunning viewpoint. The glass skywalk offers a thrilling experience with breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and coastline below. Well organized, clean, and definitely worth a stop when visiting Madeira. A must see attraction for incredible photos and unforgettable scenery.

Beautiful view, 3 euros to get access. Ridiculously you ALSO have to pay to use the toilet (50 cents). Tickets are sold at the entrance, credit cards accepted.

Good parking facilities and an easy stop to make. Entrance is €3 per person, which felt a bit cheeky, but the view itself is beautiful and worth seeing. There are toilets, souvenir shops, and a few snack options available if you want to take a break here.

Lovely views, went off peak season, still had alot of people making it difficult to grab the opportunity to take a quick photo with no photo bombers. Can only imagine how hectic it gets in the summer......

Fun place. Medium crowded, but you could still get your photos without too much difficulty or wait. There's a nice cafe (coffee place) and big souvenir store. It's a reasonable price to go out on the glass floor overlook.

€3 to visit the observation deck but the view is spectacular. There is a steel grated section and a plexiglass section. Best pictures were over the rails or through the grates.

The Cabo Girao Miradouro is well worth the considerable uphill drive needed to get to it. It's only €3 to get in (per person) but note that to use the restrooms is another 50c per person. There is a good cafe and gift shop on site too. There is limited parking however so whilst there are a few car parks they are small and this is a popular location so I advise visiting either early or late afternoon if you can. The views are simply remarkable. The height is immense and the views are something you cannot really capture on a photo, it's something you need to experience. Highly recommend checking this out when on the island.

Yelp
With amazing views and a fun (I think some may say terrifying) glass skywalk that extends a little way over the cliff edge, Cabo Girao is a worthwhile stop on a tour of Madeira's byways. That said, I wound't go out of my way to get there or cancel other plans to see it.

Yelp
A must stop... most visited by tourists and locals for coffee, food and little shopping with great 360* view. Just dont look down through the glass floor.. LOL
