I cannot rate this gem of a wine bar highly enough! A couple of my bridesmaids had organised a wine and champagne tasting as part of my hen do and it was one of the most memorable moments of the weekend! The lovely Caroline led the tasting, taking place in a cosy but beautiful space and providing us with the most spectacular wines, alongside cheese and charcuterie. It was obvious that a great deal of thought had been put into the wines selected as each one was very different but equally exceptional in taste. We were a large and bubbly group of 20 and she read the room perfectly, delivering information and knowledge but also allowing us time to chat amongst each other and soak in the surreality of us being all together, tasting wine in Paris! It was also wonderful to meet Thierry at the end of our experience and the team went the extra mile, generously gifting us with some special and personalised memorabilia. A truly special place.

We loved this place so much. Such good wine and cheese and bread for a great price. The owner was so lovely and gave us a little treat at the end of the night. Had this casual vibe with a spectacular culinary experience which is my absolute favourite combination. Would recommend to anyone.

We had the most AMAZING time at Cave Vino Sapiens for a hen party of 17, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. Caroline was INCREDIBLE, she was so knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about wine. She added so many personal touches that made the experience feel truly special, especially for our bride 🥂💖 The wines were fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and intimate, and it felt like such a hidden gem, all while being so close to the Eiffel Tower. Every single person in our group loved it. If you’re looking for a unique, memorable wine experience in Paris, this place is an absolute must.

We had such an amazing experience at Cave Vino Sapiens! We came in just 10 minutes before closing, looking for a bottle of Dom Pérignon for a picnic by the Eiffel Tower. Not only did they have the bottle, but Michel was incredibly kind — he chilled it for us on the spot and even provided us with two glasses! On top of that, he gave us tips on how to enjoy it properly. Such professionalism and kindness are rare to find these days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great wine, champagne, and exceptional service in Paris!

My wife and I happened to walk by this place on our vacation to Paris, and saw so many people having fun and drinking wine together through the window that we had to stop by. We received cheerful, quick, bilingual service, amazing recommendations that helped introduce us to the different growing regions of France, and delicious cheese and bread. But the best thing about Vino Sapiens that made us visit twice was the atmosphere. When you’re here, you’re around others who truly love good wine and good conversation. We highly enjoyed our romantic dates here. On our second visit, the boss came around with a sharpie and let us write a message on the butcher block bar counter alongside countless other well-wishers, and he even gave us a free tote bag to take back to Canada. When we are back in Paris, we will definitely visit again.

Wow! What an amazing business from start to finish—everything from the staff to the owner was exceptional. The hospitality alone deserves a five-star rating. The atmosphere is both beautiful and relaxing, making it the perfect setting to unwind. Their products—especially the cheese, wine, and pints—were all absolutely fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful experience and for sharing your knowledge with us! We truly loved every moment. Highly recommended if you're visiting Paris—this place is a must!

Fun neighborhood wine shop with friendly wine experts. Grab a glass of wine or any full bottle off the shelf to drink in the place. Thierry took the time to ask us about our vacation and shared some stories with us which was a natural personal touch. We found this place just walking around and will definitely be back!

We made a reservation and were so excited to test it out. We went in and waited for around 10 minutes before asking if we had to order at the counter because no one had come by. A staff member asked his colleague to help us out - instead, the guy kept chatting away to people who already had their drinks and food, saying “yes, yes, ok” to us. We waited a few more minutes and then finally left, 20 minutes after arriving. I guess the message is don’t go unless you are a regular?
