Location was great. In between two metro stations, both only few mins walk away. Easy walk to Le Marais. Rooms were clean with plenty storage space underneath beds for bags. Each bed was equipped with curtains for privacy. Check in and check out process was easy. Toilets were clean. Hairdryer available in the women’s bathroom.

The vibes are okay. The black mold is not. Stayed for several nights in a shared room with an ensuite bathroom -- one we repeatedly informed the staff was full of mold. It's bad enough we started weezing and coughing as soon as we opened the door. The first time they offered to move us to a much more crammed, no amenity room, without reimbursement for the price differential. We refused, on the condition they promised to have someone clean the mold the next day. Two days later, the mold was still there, prompting us to contact the staff again, and ask for something to be done. They said the director was right there, so they asked him what was happening -- again they told us some "mold guy" was going to fix it that day since he just got the supplies. It never got fixed. They never offered recompense. They didn't even seem to tell the other hostelers sharing the room, since they would repeatedly use the bathroom to shower and inevitably start sneezing uncontrollably. In addition to the mold, plenty of shelves in the room were broken and unrepaired, making it incredibly easy to drop and lose items behind the immovable beds. I had a much better experience at The People Lyon a month ago, but I think that was simply because it was a newer location. It's clear from general wear & tear that this chain is focused on vibes and growth at the cost of low-quality, understaffed, and almost-well-designed hostels, for example, the fact that one cannot use the lift to move luggage back upstairs from storage, because accessing the lift requires still having your keycard before checkout.

I was quite disappointed by this hostel. The bar is nice, but there’s no welcome drink or organized activities to help guests connect, so the atmosphere feels lacking. At reception, the staff even addressed me with the formal “you” (« vous », « usted »)which felt oddly distant The rooms are uncomfortably hot, though the beds are comfortable. What really bothered me was the luggage storage fee of €2 per hour, I had never seen that before

It’s located in a really cute area of Paris but you definitely get what you pay for. This was one of the cheapest options I could find for one night in Paris that included storage lockers to secure your items, which is a must in a hostel. However, there’s no mention of the luggage storage being paid. I’ve never had to pay for luggage storage pre check in/post check out but their system only accepts coins. It aould’ve been nice to know ahead of time to prepare. Also, had an experience where I went to my assigned bed after check in (which was a more spacious lower bunk) and found another guest in it and I was the one who had to move rather than housekeeping changing the sheets so I could use my assigned bunk. Every other hostel I’ve stayed at has a policy where if you move to the wrong bunk, you are charged for it. I feel like the staff could’ve handled this better and it really put a bad taste in my mouth. Also, not the cleanest facilities. The bathrooms have a weird odor as if something was rotting. It truly was just a bed to sleep in for the night but Im sure I would’ve been more satisfied with my stay if their policies were more clearly stated on their website. Just be aware. Overall, I did feel safe and secure but I questioned the upkeep of the property just based off things I noticed.

Great place to stay in Paris. Beds are very comfy and the curtains block all light, so it was super easy to sleep without any light from the street coming in. If someone else in the room turned on the overhead lights, i would barely notice it. The only annoying part was the bed; i was on the bottom bunk that was above the lockers, and i could not get into bed easily as a short girl. I had to physically clilb up and pull myself in 😭 hostel staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are good. Amazing location , great neighborhood for young people and very close to the rest of Paris

Merci! This was a great hostel for my long weekend in Paris. Transportation to/from the hostel was easy - there is a Metro station within two blocks, lots of city Velib bikes to rent nearby, and plenty of cafes and parks within walking distance. My bed was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, I was warm enough with the bedding provided. The downstairs bar always had a fun, lively vibe, but the upstairs rooms were always quiet. Wonderful stay!

Good place for this money in Paris, but: I would recommend to take room without terrace on the cold times (I took with one) Because terrace is small and u won’t sit there anyway (rain, wind). Also r room on the roof much more colder than others located inside on the 1-5 floor And toilets muuuuch more better on the 1-5 floors, despite that it’s shared In the shared rooms with bath inside is not really good smell and there is mold on the ceiling. Beds are comfortable 🙌🏻 Conditioner is working 👌 Service is very polite and help with everything 🥰

My first time staying at a hostel. I felt safe, it was in walking distance to very lively locations. Atmosphere was nice, quiet and calm in the mornings and upbeat at night. The rooms were great, very clean and bed was comfortable. Locker size was super big! The bathrooms were the only negative. Not very clean during my stay unfortunately.
