"Hotel Adriatic Art is the focus of this quirky hotel, located right on the seafront in Rovinj’s main square. In fact, artwork adorns almost every corner of the historic building—both the rooms and public spaces feature breathtaking works commissioned by a curator and created exclusively for the hotel. In the 14 rooms and four suites, you’ll find everything from a stunning oil painting by Croatian painter Zlatan Vehabović to wall drawings by French artist Abdelkader Benchamma (many also boast spectacular views of the island of St. Katarina across the way). The original staircase features an installation by Austrian artist Valentin Ruhry, while the French-inspired brasserie and café on the ground floor showcases works by Sofija Silvia and Jasmina Cibic."

When I dream about an ideal stay at a fishing village, I think of being right in front of the marina, in the main square with a fountain, overlooking the jetties. Once we left the minibus and boarded the hotel's golf cart, I just knew that this was the quintessential hotel in Rovinj. After walking all around the harbor, I am reassured that this hotel is strategically located with best views and proximity to major restos and shops. The open market and fish market is five minutes away.|We stayed 3N in room #5 with view balcony. Absolutely breathtaking! Wonderful staff, large room. perfect bed. |Breakfast was ala carte. Served by Christina, the food was delicious and unlimited. The breakfast was served in the large room just beyond the bar counter. You can choose to dine inside or outside.|I doubt that there is a better situated hotel in Rovinj. Choose Adriatic Hotel.

This is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve stayed at most of the world’s top luxury hotels. Rooms? Well-decorated, functional, and spacious. Bed? Super comfortable. Shower? Excellent water pressure. Location? This is literally the best location - it genuinely couldn’t get any better. Restaurant? Incredible. We went to the nearby one- and two-star Michelin restaurants, and call me crazy, but I still preferred the hotel restaurant. The breakfast is perfect too, and sitting outside on the porch with a coffee is the best way to start your morning. The staff were 11/10 - friendly, accommodating, and helpful. If you’re looking for a hotel in Rovinj, this is the only one you should consider. Plus, it’s a nice perk that you can also access the amenities at the other five-star hotel just up the road if you’d like.

We loved our room, the bar and the restaurant here. We think the food and drink quality here is the highest on the waterfront of Rovinj. The lamb and the mushroom pasta were amazing! The breakfasts were ordered from a menu rather than a buffet and included several poached egg options. It was one of the few places on the waterfront that had a great drink menu options including bourbon and whiskey drinks. The hotel is central to the Rovinj waterfront and that made it easy to navigate the area. Our room and bed were comfortable and had a nice view of the waterfront including windows that fully opened. The only downside for us was that the service was sometime slow, but we attribute that to our American culture where we expect to be checked in on every 5 minutes. 😄

This is a perfectly fine hotel with a great location right on the harbor of the city. Large comfortable bed. Quiet enough.||But there are some oddball features. We had a big room divided by a four-foot-high, seven-foot-long “bookcase” that held TVs, a mini-fridge, and more. Not all that useful. ||There was a round table that served as a desk in a corner, but with three plugs hard to reach over the table. No USB ports at the table, but there were USB A ports (and plugs) at the nightstands. Overall, the set up was substandard but okay in the end. The Internet connection was rock solid.||There were no luggage racks, and we had to repurpose a small table for the purpose and put another suitcase on the floor of the closet.||The bathroom was good size with a decent shower. It could have used more places to hang towels. But the emergency cord in the shower (a nice touch) was only four feet long. So if you are disabled on the ground, you can’t reach it. And the door to the bathroom was heavy, but it did deaden sounds,||Bizarrely, the stairs hallways are all black. Excellent location on main square at entrance to old town. Hotel sent a shuttle to collect us from the parking area, town is pedestrian. |Room (piazza room) was large, well equipped – safe, fridge, coffee with great view of harbour but surprisingly little storage – huge closet begging for more shelves, table with no drawers beside the bed, single armchair.|Excellent breakfast ( al a carte)|There is competition for outdoor seating as the bar is open to everyone – we never did snag one of the comfy chairs during our 3 night stay– almost got one until a bad tempered waitress ordered us out so she could clean!|Enjoyed visiting two of the sister hotels - one on its own little island and the other across from the harbour.|Overall good choice, recommended

This is a terrific small hotel in the heart of Rovinj. The rooms are adequate, not huge but big enough. But the location is great. We were able to walk to all the best restaurants and shopping streets. If you want more amenities, you can go to their sister hotel by buggy or walking. The breakfast is great. It's all made to order.

I came as a couple to try out this hotel, supposedly one of the 10 best in Croatia! Here, for my 7 million visitors, are my first impressions... after a disastrous first night!! Indeed: it was impossible to sleep peacefully... which is supposed to be the primary function of a hotel!! For starters, all the light turn on automatically... as soon as you enter the room, which is problematic if your partner is sleeping!! Then it's impossible to to turn off the TV with the remote, without lighting up the room. And finally, the bathroom door systematically slams by itself!!! In short, if you want a quiet night without being woken by light and noise: unless you're alone, move on!!! You have to like the color black... which is present everywhere, from floor to ceiling in the common areas. However, the staff provided an excellent welcome, doing everything they could to make guests feel comfortable. Small, tasty touches awaited you in the room, which helped alleviate the discomfort mentioned above. Finally, the room is large and comfortable. In conclusion: the owners would have been better off avoiding divisive decorating choices and giving free rein to idiotic architects obsessed with art over functionality...

The Hotel Adriatic is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Rovinj, offering the best location by far. Situated across from the marina, the hotel offers a convenient base for exploring all the lovely cobblestone streets and is walkable to excellent restaurants, bars, and shops. The decor and ambiance are sophisticated and elegant without being stuffy or overly formal. The service from the staff and housekeeping was friendly and welcoming. The quality of the included breakfast was also very good. We stayed in a surprisingly spacious Piazza room with a beautiful view of the marina and very comfortable beds. The only disappointment for our stay is that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the complimentary access to their sister property's amenities or ferry to the nearby islands. We absolutely loved Rovinj and would be thrilled to return again to the Hotel Adriatic!
