Planet Organic - Westbourne Grove

Hmm the sign clearly says dogs that aren't for assistance to be tied outside, but this is clearly not an assistance dog. Why was she allowed to bring it inside? Edit: they replied to my comment and saying it could have been an assistance dog but it clearly was not. It was a young woman with clearly no disability - check the photo, and I was shopping here so I noticed it all.

Their shelf items are fine but avoid their cafe/pastries. They sell 3 day old pain au chocolat and when you bring it up with them regarding freshness it’s dismissed. They won’t provide a refund either. Stay clear or discover worse!

Good and quality produce, can find a lot of products you don't in regular supermarkets. It has a vegan section, a supplements as well as a refills one. Offers food and amazing smoothies to go! Also caters for keto people offering bread, granola and deserts.Even has non-alcoholic spirits section.

Shop layout is nice but really need to watch expiry dates of items bought. Has happened to me multiple times that I bought a yoghurt (with ordinary shelf life of >2 weeks) and it would expire on the same day. Equally as others have pointed out bakery items can taste stale. Shops often doesn’t have most basic items available, eg today they had no potatoes.

The sign states no dogs allowed, which is what I'm glad about as dogs seems to explore with their noses and tongues and paws everywhere so it's not hygienic. However, this rule isn't even implemented. I saw a young woman clearly allowed to be able to walk her dog around this store. This shouldn't be allowed, it's an organic grocery store and very insalubrious. Also, it clearly wasn't a guide dog, I'm gonna have a guess to say the manager will see this comment and reply to it saying 'we welcome guide dogs'. It definitely wasn't, they just want to justify them going against the sign at the door saying no dogs.

*edited review* Good place to maybe have a coffee or soup. I would not recommend shopping here as the prices are unjustifiable (for example for frozen banana it is £3.55 for 300g). I understand higher prices for more luxury-fad items, but competitors have much cheaper prices for most of the brands on their shelves. Also the same items they sell can nearly all be found in Waitrose! I have taken off 1 star for that reason. I am taking off 2 more stars because of the behaviour of their employees. The staff are very rude and do not sell Planet Organic at all to the customers. They seem to have a dislike for the people who shop here. Unfriendly, rude and stand around chatting to each other. I used to be a regular here and will now switch to Whole Foods for organic produce

Moved here from further up the street. The place is light and airy with good and clear aisles and nice produce. Staff were friendly but the stock is a lot less than what it was.

Really nice supermarket with all sorts of organic products, could spend hours here. Foods and supplements and soaps and what not. Love it here!!! Staff were also lovely
