"Camping on the Beach Umm Bab Family beach, is located 80 miles west of Doha. Umm Bab Beach is part of a vast natural reserve called Alreem natural reserve. The beach is also known as “Palm Tree Beach” because of the small cluster of palms at the end of the road alongside the small pier. The beach is ideal for camping with young ones because it has its own fenced beach area for families, toilets and kids' playground, the water is shallow and the beach is very private, without being off the beaten path. To get there, drive west on Salwa road for about 60 miles until you see the sign for Umm Bab. You’ll have to drive north into the town and then south to the beach. N25 12.401 E50 46.067"

Visited here on Christmas weekend, not that crowded. Awesome place to spend with your family & friends. One of the best place for swimming and barbeque.

Umbab Beach is a hidden gem! I visited yesterday and was blown away by its serene and pristine ambiance. The beach is incredibly neat and clean, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The picturesque date trees swaying gently in the breeze added to the tranquil atmosphere, creating a sense of paradise. The overall vibe is peaceful and calming, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a quiet escape from the city's chaos. I loved my visit and can't wait to return! Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a relaxing getaway.

Its a free public beach with no facilities. Not very crowded; the shore is sandy and clean. There are some rocks in the sea.

Nice beach. Great place to have a Barbeque with friends and family. The beach area near the QE facility is easily accessible by normal cars no need for 4x4. Don’t have much crowd. There is only a Sidra convenience store in the Woqod nearby that too approx 3-4 Km away from the beach opposite to the cement factory. Don’t have any other restaurants or other convenient stores nearby. So be sure to pack enough drinking water and food/snacks.

Stunning Views but Rough for Swimming. Um Bab Beach is a beautiful spot with a breathtaking view—palm trees swaying near golden sands and clear blue waters make it a picturesque getaway. The scenery is truly postcard-worthy! However, the beach has a downside: the shore is covered with stones, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot and difficult to swim without stumbling. If you're looking for a relaxing dip, this might not be the best choice. Overall, it’s a great place for photos and enjoying the view, but not ideal for swimming. Bring good water shoes if you plan to enter the sea! 🌴🌊
