"Mouthwatering, Modern Chilean Comfort Food In the window, the neon sign states what is obvious once you clean your plate. Comida rica. Delicious food. Here, well-known chef Juan Pablo Mellado, has conquered Santiaguino palates with food your mother would prepare at home. An updated concept of a local Soda Fountain, an informal and bustlingly busy bistro,Las Cabras pays homage to homecooking. It’s a short but tasty menu where you can savor classics like "crudo de filete", Chile’s lemony take on steak tartare or the ever-popular "palta cardenal", half an avocado stuffed with shrimp salad. They also excel at sandwiches like the "fricandela" on crunchy "marraqueta" bread (Chile’s version of the baguette) and braised stews from pork to tongue. On the side, be sure to sip some of the best artisan beer brews in the country. Always full so arrive early or be prepared to wait. Quite a bar scene in the evenings and weekend. Luis Thayer Ojeda 0166, Providencia. Phone: 02/2232 9671. Monday to Saturday from 1pm-1am, Sunday from 1-4pm."

Really good food and helpful staff! I had the steak sandwich with cheese which was fantastic. Also the papas al pobre were freshly made and really delicious. Would recommend this place!

I think the food there is very amazing!!!! The place where you can enjoy trustable chilean traditional food. However, I think it is a little bit overpriced, since it cost me 18000 for one pasta, one salad and coke. I think it is still a good place to try out traditional food!!! The pasta with beef tongue is interesting haha, it taste good but i suggest to cut the tongue into small pieces rather than the whole three tongues lol

Straight up one of the must eat places in Santiago. This is tradition “Fuentes” food (diner food) with a throughly modern touch. Has the ambience of a 50s American diner, but that is where the western connection ends. Food is thoroughly Chilean (including beef testicles) and so is the service. Pricier than traditional Fuentes food, but expect to pay around 13-18 USD for a fantastic meal.

Excellent and authentic Chilean fast food, very good location, easy to be seated, clean area and cool waiters. The pulled pork sandwich and lemonade became new standards. Price very normal.

Old school fuente de soda but overrated. Menu looks original but when it comes to try those dishes my experience was poor. Crudo de Filete and Churrasco served in low quality bread and overall food was bland. Go to Tip y Tap instead.

Good selection of Chilean food. Very delicious. I had the tongue plate, it was yummy. Good be a bit expensive.
