Saw this chicharron and guacamole on TikTok. Made a plan to go to Kensington for something else, but I definitely wanted to stop and try this. Located in a building with multiple food stalls is taco love. Limited seating indoor and outdoor but the turn over was fast. It is hot inside but that is because they are cooking up some great food. We placed our order and sat outside. We then ordered a Cerveza from the outside bar while we waited for our food. The staff from delivered it to our seat which was nice. Pork belly was freshly fried guacamole tasted like it was just made. Tortillas were delicious overall I definitely have been thinking about this Chicharron and guac since I had it yesterday afternoon and I 10 out of 10 will wanna come back again.

I stopped by for a quick work lunch and decided to try the famous chicharrón with guacamole—and I’m so glad I did. The dish exceeded my expectations in every way. The chicharrón was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the pairing with the fresh, flavorful guacamole was spot on. What really stood out was the way the dish was served—with warm tortillas and a variety of sides, allowing me to build my own mini tacos. It was not only delicious but also a fun and interactive way to enjoy the meal. Each bite had a great balance of textures and flavors, making this one of the most memorable lunches I’ve had in a while. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. It’s clear the team takes pride in the food and the experience they offer. This place turned an ordinary lunch break into something special, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon—hopefully with colleagues next time!

We tried Combo #3 and got a great variety of tacos — everything tasted fantastic! I had the chicharrón with guac, and hands down, that one was my favorite. Totally recommend it! Alan is such a great person, and the food is just a reflection of that.

Taco Love at Augusta is a true gem! The tacos are bursting with flavor—especially the birria and Korean BBQ. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, and a chill vibe make it a go-to spot. Highly recommend for a quick bite or casual hangout!

Yesterday, a friend brought me a torta from this place to St. Catharines. When I ate it, I was surprised to find it had some metal pieces from the dishcloth. I managed to spit them out, but I was almost done with the torta, and I hope I didn't ingest any pieces I wouldn't feel. Otherwise, they'll have a visit from a lawyer and city officials this week. The hygiene they maintain at this place is incredible, for them not to notice a mistake of that magnitude.

While it's tucked away in an unassuming storefront in Kensington Market, this place has the best burritos I've had in the city. No question about it. Food and chips are always good - the spicy sauce they put on the side is fantastic. Only problem is it can get crowded in there (as is any place in the Market)

Worst Mexican fries I have ever had in Toronto. I ordered via Uber and they didn’t even add cheese which is a basic ingredient of Mexican fries. Fries were super saggy and not fresh. Very disappointing

Was passing through Kensington yesterday on my way to a book launch and stopped by to quickly pick up a vegetarian torta with tofu from this spot and it was so good. Absolutely incredible flavours. Reminded me of my visit to Mexico City a few years ago. This spot used to be called Pico de Gallo with a cult following of sorts I’ve been told, but rebranded recently. Hope to return soon and also looking forward to also try some other interesting spots at the Latin American food court at 214 Augusta.

Yelp
This is very decent taco. My company ordered catered food from them. The taco came unassembled. There were two kinds: chicken and beef. I had to assemble it all together. Definitely not the most authentic kind. They were not bad but you can tell its the fusion style kind. There was also churros. I wished the churros were more fluffy. Overall the food was not bad.
