Bar Sprezzatura

Had a light snack and drink here before a broadway show - the ambiance was nice with a great city view. Starter food was decent, nothing that really stood out to me (the crostino was $7 for a small bite size plate). Best to have a reservation here just in case!

Bar Sprezzatura not only has stunning views and beautifully presented dishes, but what truly stood out to me was their exceptional service. We accidentally ordered a few dishes that contained pork (which we don’t consume) and only realized it after tasting one. The staff couldn’t have been more understanding — they immediately removed every pork item from our order, didn’t charge us for it, and even replaced our plates and utensils without hesitation. It wasn’t their fault at all, yet they handled it with such kindness, respect, and professionalism. The two gentlemen serving our table were outstanding — attentive, polite, and genuinely caring, constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect. A truly elegant experience from start to finish. Highly recommend not just for the view and the food, but for the heart behind the service.

Went to this rooftop bar based on a Tik Tok influencer who named it as one of her top 2 rooftop bars in NYC. I reserved a table for 6 and requested outdoor seating. However, there were only indoor seats available for our party when we arrived. Indoor seats for a warm summer evening were not nearly as nice as outdoor. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the evening dining on restaurant week menu and drinking some nice wine. The food was okay and the service was just okay. It would be nicer if the bar had a more extensive menu and more attentive service.

Bar Sprezzatura offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, embodying the stylish decor and comfortable seating. The breakfast buffet, which was provided complimentary during the stay, is fairly standard with an "okayish" flavor profile; nothing particularly standout, but it gets the job done, especially for an included meal. Service is one of the highlights — the hostess was friendly and attentive on each visit, contributing positively to the dining experience.

Great food and amazing service. We had the mozzarella straciatella appetizer that came with pieces of focaccia for dipping and it was delicious. We also had the truffle fries which came with an amazing Pepperoncini aioli, one of the best sauces I’ve had. We also got 2 orders of the wings and they were perfectly cooked. For the main dish we ordered the sweet potato gnocchi and it was amazing. It came with pieces of sweet potato and guanciale. For dessert we had the tiramisu and vanilla gelato and they were both phenomenal. The tiramisu had perfect ratios of rosemary salt. I don’t have pictures of the dessert because they were eaten immediately. Our host Emily, waiter Tomas, and runner Jill were all extremely polite and helpful. Will be back!

A gem of a place. We started out with the Guanciale Meatballs. Quite tasty with a little zing. Grab those! Our entrees: the Steak Skewers with Shrimp. Oh my they were cooked to perfection. I wish I could say the same about the Veal Milanese Fritters - unfortunately way overcooked and edges so crispy you needed a saw to cut them. Desert was the creamy Italian Vanilla Gelato. That is the most delicious way to end a good meal😁

This was the cutest hidden spot! Definitely underrated! Great vibe, great waitstaff, drinks, and nice happy hour!! (shoutout Kylee) I’ll definitely be back and I will absolutely be sending my friends here as well!

My family and I flew in from out of town, headed to a Broadway show. Our server was very kind and patient, he ensured we were taken care of and that our food came out quickly. We were able to make it to the show with some time to spare thanks to the speedy service. We sat out on the terrace, which was a beautiful view. The small plates and cocktails were phenomenal—especially the lobster bruschetta, oysters, and mushroom crostini. 10/10 recommend
