Absolutely exceptional experience at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate! From the moment we arrived, the service from all the incredible staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely attentive. A very special thank you to Loveness, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Her professionalism, friendliness and kindness truly stood out. You can tell she cares deeply about creating a beautiful guest experience. And a big shoutout to Kaizer, the security guard, whose friendly welcome and positive energy set the tone from the start, such a wonderful first impression! The famous duck parade was an absolute highlight, such a unique and charming experience to witness. Watching the ducks march across the estate is something special and adds so much character to the farm. The grounds are simply breathtaking, beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Every corner feels curated and serene. Vergenoegt is not just a wine farm; it’s an experience. Incredible service, stunning surroundings, and memorable moments all around. We’ll definitely be back! 🍷✨

We stayed at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate for three nights and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The setting is stunning – peaceful vineyards, beautiful grounds, and a real sense of calm that makes it perfect for switching off. The accommodation was luxurious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail taken care of. Waking up to the views and the sounds of nature was a highlight in itself. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. The wine tasting experience was excellent, and the dining was a standout, with high-quality food and a great atmosphere. Overall, it was a truly special experience and somewhere we would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, high-end stay in the Cape Winelands.

Hotel location is short drive outside Cape Town but once you get there, the entire setting is beautiful. From the moment we checked in to the day we checked out, the staff were 100% committed and on hand to delivering an excellent experience for us. We stayed 3 nights and found everything was to a high and quality standard - service, food, rooms, amenities, information. We were celebrating our engagement and they also prepared a special surprise for us with a bottle of wine, rose petals on our bed and little desserts waiting for us when we got back to the room one evening! Dinner at the Homestead (equivalent of the hotel restaurant) was delicious (get the Lamb shoulder if it’s available) and lunch at Geuwels is great too. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely come back. 5 star experience all round.

We stayed at Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate and had a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning scenery and a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming, always making sure everything was perfect during our stay. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the wines. And of course, the famous duck parade is such a charming and unique highlight — something you really won’t find anywhere else! We would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Stellenbosch.

Geuwels restaurant as the new flagship is beyond disappointing. After avoiding the forerunner to this place we were excited to try the new restaurant. Be warned while the food is not the issue the service is appalling. We ordered a simple meal of a fish dish and a burger. 2 hours let me repeat that 2 hours later our food turned up. What a disapponting anniversary lunch. My suggestion stay away

The wine tasting was great, the wines I mean. The service on the other hand was absolutely appalling. We we denied seating outside and instead got stuffed into a small tasting room with a 2 year old who just want to be outside. It's not like there wasn't seating available outside, we saw plenty of tables available. There were old plates standing around the room which wasn't taken away or cleaned the whole time we were there and the staff doesn't even know what they menu items are. Lastly, we had to ask for the bill 4 times!

I can’t thank the staff enough for the incredible hospitality throughout our stay. From reception, to the drivers, waiters, cleaners, gardeners, and management. Everyone was so friendly and treated us with professionalism and care. The facilities were immaculately well taken. We absolutely loved the exclusivity and intimacy of the entire state. We will definitely be back, thank you all so very much 🙏❤️

I originally went to this winery just to see the ducks, but I ended up having an incredible experience! It’s the most beautiful winery I’ve ever visited, and thanks to Loveness I had a wonderful introduction to exploring wineries. The wine tasting with Nolu was amazing — full of learning and great vibes. Highly recommended!
