Emilio's of Morris Park

No pricing on the signs inside, The slices here are WAY overpriced. My slice was $8 then I added chicken on top (extra $3) which brings it to $11! I don’t feel like the quality was that great to warrant that amount. Just another spot trying to become a gimmicky Pizzeria and overcharge customers, I will not be coming back here.

Update: came back to try again. Ordered two salads and pasta fagioli. $62 bucks. Are you kidding. Will never be back. 1st review. Grew up on pizza in the Morris Park area of the Bronx. There were so many pizzeria you could not go wrong. This was my first time at Emilio's, which was highly recommended. I was disappointed at how flat the pizza tasted. No depth to the sauce at all. The crust was crispy though. Also had a rice ball, which was an impulse. It was OK, but nothing of note. Overall, I was not impressed.

Based off the conversation, I just had with this business. They are the best pizzeria in the Bronx. They will deliver anywhere they’re not like Tommy’s and they’re lazy. They’re not like crazy pizza and change their food. They are America! Albanian you get some points I think. 😉 also, you should call Giacomo from Patricia’s on Tremont and teach him how to make chicken with tomato pizza.

After seeing their advertisement on TV, I had high expectations. Food is pricey (ex: slice of pizza was $4.50 for ordinary size). Many choices on menu. Mini canzone was barely warm. Pizza sauce tasted sour. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and doubt if I'll return.

Tried a couple of slices over the week while I was working in the area at the recommendation of one the guys at Einstein. Great pizza, great staff. The restaurant has new toppings everyday. Vodka chicken was very good. Bronx pizza isn't to be underestimated.

Ordered a chicken parm with spaghetti. This was the driest chicken parm and spaghetti I ever seen. Smh. My kids slices tasted bitter. Patricia’s or Patsy’s from now on.

I have read the other reviews and yes, the prices may be a bit high, but it is quality food that taste so good! It is definitely worth your money. overpriced but the food is good. i love their penne vodka! the service is fast aswell. however the vibe is alittle off. the music is sometimes loud but bearable. the bathroom is clean too.

I ordered because of the high rating on DoorDash and the grandma pie. This may be a matter of taste and preference, but I feel the ratings are based on their trendy chicken vodka sauce specialty pizza and neighborhood nostalgia. They touted their grandma pie as the best in the Bronx. I admit anyone with a grandma pie is up against tough competition because Frank Pinello's grandma slice at Best Pizza is my all time favorite. But this one really missed the mark for me. It was thick and doughy and really reminiscent of a Detroit style pizza. And about 30 bucks, the price is wild (maybe it was increased for DoorDash, and I get that). I also got a couple separate "regular" slices. One with extra cheese and pepperoni and one with extra cheeses, sausage, and mushroom. Without extras, it's 5.62 a slice on DoorDash, but they are HUGE. So a value. One person could have one slice and be done for the night. That being said . . . a few things. One, the extra cheese is TOO much. Literal mounds. I should have known better than to order extra anything on a first time order. But I think these slices would have been cheese heavy no matter what. Flavor was meh and it was again thick and doughy. And by the time I added any toppings (the mushroom, the sausage, etc), prices were 10-11 dollars for each slice. Emilio's has garlic knots, several different types of pizza, salads. On lunch they have wraps and mini-8-inch heroes and combos, wings, pasta, soups, calzones, paninis. I'm not going to tell anyone to not try it out . . . again, a matter of taste. And it was DoorDash. But I think the reviews over-sell it and I wouldn't eat here again.

1/3 Food + Beverages; 1/1 Service; 1/1 Value My roommate and I ordered in one night as we just needed a quick bite without having to prepare anything ourselves. The service and delivery were seamless without any delays, and they were kind enough to package us some extra plates and napkins as well. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the hype. We got the cheese pie which had a nice, crispy undercarriage, but the tomato sauce and cheese did not have much flavor or robustness. We got an 18'' pie amounting to $20.30, and it was enough to feed us both for several meals. Please note that I did take photos after eating some slices already, so the cheese had congealed by that time. Upon reheating, I would recommend sprinkling some water on the crust and eating immediately, as it does get really hard and stale rather quickly. I would definitely be open to trying their other pies, but probably not the regular again.

1st when you use your credit card they charge you a fee. And they are very prices compare to the other pizza shops in the area.. I only went there because my son like there penna chicken slice and it was his birthday. But they need to stop charging a card fee.

Super good pizza! Bottom crust is crispy and can hold up to the weight of the toppings. That vodka sauce is the BOMB! Highly recommend. Kid also tried the Mac and cheese pizza...it was fine but exactly how it sounded. It was right up his alley. Servers are friendly and welcoming. The area to sit in is pretty small but we found a table and it wasn't a problem. Great stop for a slice!

This place hands down has one of the best specialty slices/pies in the Bronx. Although a bit pricey, The Chicken Vodka pizza is amazing, it's what they are known for and for good reason because it's the best item on the menu! Only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because their regular slices are decent, but if you stop by here you'd be doing yourself a disservice to get a regular slice over the chicken vodka!

Expensive. Check the menu before coming here. I sometimes think the only reason why someone would up the prices of otherwise mid food is that they need their rent paid for.

Chicken cutlet sandwich is very bland really no flavor. Paid extra for dressing on the side was not even given to me. Fries could be cooked more boarder line raw. Definitely not something I would buy again. Supposed to be a lunch combo paid $17.50 for garbage.

Solely based on the chicken vodka pizza. Of course not your traditional NY slice, but if you are in the mood for great vodka pasta with chicken and excellent crust/bread all in one bite, this is for you! Must try! I have also tried the pepperoni slice which is pretty standard but good.

One of the greats of all time...like 15 years ago. :) It is definitely a neighborhood beacon and institution but it seems the quality and taste have taken a hit. I have been going to them since I was kid. There seems to be a lapse in standardization. Good pizza but there are better options around. Worth a try. One try.

I placed a rather large order for delivery a few weeks ago. I ordered 3 chicken cutlet sandwiches that were supposed to have red sauce and when I received the order they had lettuce and tomato instead. When I called, the person who answered immediately told me that that is what I ordered and when I read to him exactly what I ordered only then did he look up the order and see that THEY made the mistake. He claimed he could not give me my money back and offered a credit instead. I don't even live in NY so I wouldn't be able to even use the credit myself, but I digress. Today, my cousin tried to use the credit and they claimed there is no credit there. Now, I am out $68 and I have no way of getting that money back. It's a shame. The food that was actually correct tasted good.

Good pizza, great variety, awesome customer service but a bit on the pricey side. Specialty pizza slices are $7.50 each. But they do have affordable lunch specials for $14.50 that come with a salad, garlic knots and a soda, u can pick from pasta's & sandwiches. As soon as I walked in the gentleman behind the counter greeted me and said he would be right with me, he answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations. They are known for their chicken vodka slice so we got 3 of those, everyone liked it a lot. I got the regular slice and margarita slice and both were very good. There is some seating in the restaurant but not very big. I would definitely be coming back here.

It was my first time there. The slices were huge and filled with plenty of toppings which leads to the pricey slices but it was all worth it. I am definitely thinking of getting some catering for Emilo for my next get together.

Emilios was always best known for their pizza in this neighborhood, but lately we've been ordering sandwiches, pasta, and paninis. Can I just say that their Spring Panini has become my new favorite lunch staple?! With delicious grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted red peppers and spring greens, on The Best Panini Bread I have ever tasted, this sandwich is worth the visit to Emilios. But be forewarned: it's only available M-Fr until 3pm. So be sure to get there early! I usually get my ordered delivered and their delivery guys are awesome! Thanks, Emilios, for always providing a great lunch!

I'm not sure what's up long to come to this place. Every time I would pass by the smell, wouldn't invade my nose with such pleasure. I took it upon myself to make a stop here today and it will not be my last. I need to try that vodka slice for sure.

Exorbitant prices, especially for their salads! However, anything I order is fresh and pretty tasty. I've rarely ever had a food order I didn't enjoy. Yes the chicken vodka pizza is really that good. Solid place to grab a pizza slice.

They have a huge menu of Italian cuisine and pizza, I ordered the lasagna, and was saddened by it, it was a single layer of mostly cheese and a little meat and sauce, it was mostly mozzarella cheese. Cost around $20 .if you go, get something else

Do everyone a solid and replace your delivery guys. They harass people for tips. One time, i had one of them refuse to hand my box over without being tipped. Just now, i placed an order, they canceled it and THEN called me to say "we don't have fried ravioli", instead of calling me first to ask if I wanted to switch the item out. I had to reorder, spend 2x the money, for my food to get here cold, and the delivery guy to go "it's no tip here, where's the tip?" Homeboy stood there giggling. It's weird, hire some young people. They'll appreciate that off the books money a lot more.

Consistent, friendly, tasty highly recommend to all my friends. Great way to end a training session with some great pizza.

Omg their pizza is amazing. My favorite is the chicken allá vodka. My job is always ordering pizza pies from here. I highly recommend them. You won't be sorry!!

I ask for a two grandmas pizza they told me they have only one and then if I want to, I have to wait 40 minutes I work 12 hours shift. I don't have a time for this so I'm not going back again.

Ordered delivery through Ubereats, chicken tortellini soup which was outstanding with chunks of chicken in delicious broth with cheese tortellini and julienned carrots. Also, minestrone with chunks of broccoli, potato, zucchini, carrot, celery, elbows. You could make a meal out of the soup. I would give five stars just for the soup if it wasn't so expensive, $12 for a cup of soup is a little much even though it is so good. I guess if you ordered enough for two, it would come out cheaper at $15 for two. Chicken Francese and side salad (choice of pasta, salad or potato croquettes) also wonderful. Both came with delicious pizza knots. The dressing was full of garlic which I love. I wasn't so crazy about the garlic bread which was very doughy and not the best Italian bread I've ever had. The sausage, peppers and mushroom pizza was good but overly salty. They neglected to provide disposable plates which I specifically asked for in the instructions.

Quick service and good pizza. Prices are kinda high but ingredients and taste make it worth it. No outdoor seating. Indoor seating is tight.

Been a customer at Emilio's for 7 years! My kids love it and so does my wife and I. Food is always top notch and the pizza is the best in the Bronx. all of holiday means are catered by Emilio's as well.

When it comes to the Bronx, especially the Morris Park neighborhood, you can really get overwhelmed with the sheer amount of Italian restaurants and pizzerias that have taken root here. I'm not complaining though, because this neighborhood is one of the sweet spots in the borough where you can really get a killer slice of pizza and a solid Italian meal. I've ordered (and still order) from a number of businesses along the strip, though I had not been to Emilio's in a while. I was over one of my friends' houses the other day so we decided to order a pie from here, which gave me the opportunity to rediscover them. You can't miss Emilio's - while it sits on an unassuming corner of Morris Park Ave, the side of the building it's in has a huge red and green painted mural on it which makes the business pop. It's not large inside at all - typical pizzeria set up and super casual. They have a large menu filled with Italian dishes and also provide catering services, which is a nice option if you want more than just pizza. That being said, the pizza is great - everything you want out of a New York slice. The crust is thin, the sauce is flavorful, and it has that high quality that makes it one of the top pizzas I've tried. One of their more unique pies is the chicken bruschetta - a generous portion of chicken, tomatoes and seasonings sitting on top of a SUPER thin crust; it's a standout for me and worth trying at least once. Overall, you can't go wrong with Emilio's. This is not a trendy place by any means, but you can get a solid slice from here with high quality ingredients. I look forward to welcoming it back into my portfolio of go-to pizzerias in the Bronx.

the eggplant rolls/calzones lately are horrible. it is flavorless sliced egg plant with a small amount of sauce and mozzarella cheese, definitely not made to good standards. It is not enjoyable. Don't waste your money. We have delicious pizzerias all over Morris Park. I'm done here. This is an embarrassment to Italian cooking.

I love everything about this place. From the decor to the awesome food. I had the famous chicken vodka slice and man did it not disappoint. It was perfect and filling. It may be the best vodka sauce I ever had as well. The segued was friendly and the order was prepared quickly. I'll definitely come by again!

Not necessarily known for healthy food, but the No-Cheese Pie and Cauliflower Crust Pie on their menu- actually brought me here to Morris Park in The Bronx. Lemme not forget their entire regular Pizza menu, Italian Entrees, Sides (even Garlic Knots!) and that freaking bodacious mural Emilio's got going outside. Plus Frankie Vali and Doo-Wop playing- to sum up that old-timey Italian Bronx feel. Whether you're looking for a regular slice, pie or a healthy-conscious one- Emilio's has it covered with their own flair. Large overhead menus, less than 10 eating tables...place is small. Mom decided on 2 Pepperoni slices and I went for the 'No Cheese' small pie, a 'Chocolate Egg Cream' soda for me, Orange for Mom and Zeppoles. My mom's 2 slices were out quick, but it was at least a 20 minute wait for mine- so munched on the Zeppoles while I waited. Then noticed cheese on my pizza when it was brought over. I went upfront and ran it by Richie. There was some misunderstanding and I didn't do it by making a scene or emailing the entire executive board- so Gracias for making me a new one! Looking on the bright side- I fell really hard for Emilio's simple tomato sauce without seasonings whatsoever- and liked it! But between the look-alike canned mushrooms and my pizza feeling like a cracker instead of it having a nice pizza chew- I was under the impression I was getting regular pizza dough. Fast forward though- attention from Richie and his crew was cool. Plus really digging that unlike most pizza shops in The BX- Emilio's kind of stands out to offer No Cheese or Cauliflower Crust on their menu. And whether you're a Vegan or just a non-dairy eater- you don't have to jump through hoops to get decent options.

One of my favorite pizza place from the Bronx. I discovered this through my coworker where he asked "have you ever had pizza pie bigger than Costco pizza ?" Just on that I was sold. I made it a point to venture to try my first chicken vodka pizza. Boy my first experience was amazing. Typical NY style crust, crunchy and thin. Filled with delicious sauce and a lot of chicken. Now this is a pick-me-up place every time I'm in the Bronx. Look out for their dinner special in store, it's the same price as a pie but with soda and garlic knots.

10/10 10/10 10/10 !!! Okay so first off, a pizza spot in the Bronx that delivers, okay yes! Haha I've been ordering here now for some time, back to back honestly they know my family by name lol. The food is honestly amazing and if you're ordering for delivery your food will come fresh and in a timely manner. I'm super picky when it comes to pizza, but they even have my kids hooked! Yes, they can be a little pricey, but there's not amount too much for great food! If you're in the area make sure you check them out! You won't be disappointed!

I have been at Emilios before and I have also ordered for delivery. Those times great. But this last time HORRIBLE. The staff in the back was just off task. And the one who took our order and charged us $66 for horrible two large pies. They were the worst. I will never again go to this spot. Man what a let down. The pizza had some black thing under I still don't want to remember. The second pie, the ham practically oinked at us. My kids and I were very disappointed and wasted that money at a place that wasn't worth it.

Definitely wasn't what I expected. Not my cup of tea. The pizza was just Soso. The crust was just Soso.

Emilio's of Morris Park, Bronx NY Having grown up in da Bronx, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. Having moved to the suburbs of Westchester County over 40 years ago, we don't get around the Bronx much any more. Today, we had occasion to go to the Bronx and I thought, gee this would be a great day to try that Emilio's we keep hearing about. OMG! So, So glad we did! Given COVID restrictions, we couldn't sit to enjoy a pie. I went in to check out the place at about 11:00am. When I entered, I was immediately greeted. There had to be 10 different pizza pies on display. One looked better than the other. A few different people had always raved about their Chicken Vodka Pizza so I ordered a large to go. I couldn't help but notice how immaculately clean and fresh everything looked. The army of young men behind the counter were all busy, busy, busy. I returned to pick-up my special pie and fell in love with the aroma that quickly filled my car. After a few pit stops on the way home, over 1 hour had past. I immediately pre-heat the over to 400 degrees with a cookie sheet inside. Now, the aroma filled the house! The first bite that everyone took resulted in the exact same exclamation, Oh My God, this is DELICIOUS! We each enjoyed every morsel. We concluded that they ought to change the name of this pie to "OH MY GOD!" Emilio's has been added to my Favorite "Waze" destinations, not because I need directions to get there. I just wouldn't want to get stuck in traffic, like we did today. Extended exposure to the aroma of that pie could result in road rage. If you don't believe me, just try it! Hmm, Hmm!

I ordered a pasta lunch special supposed to be 13.49, I ordered a piece of a chicken cutlet with it and I got charged 23.49.......... 10 dollars for one piece of chicken breast. Abuse. Nonetheless food is good. Not worth $24 for a lunch special.

I love this place... it's a 30 minute ride from my home. So the last time I had a slice of pizza was a while ago. So my husband decided, to go today I love it. I want to get the pizza and the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimps. Thank you

Been going here since I was a little girl. I used to live right up the street. Recently stopped in and the chicken vodka slice and rice balls taste exactly the same as I remembered them. They are famous for the chicken vodka slice. It never disappoints!!!!

I love Emilio's. Stopped in for a chicken parm slice, and it was so satisfying! So much better than my usual Salvatore's. Crust was perfect, topping was juicy and succulent. I brought home 2 rolls for hubby, and they were just as good!

I seen a picture of the chicken vodka slice and new I had to check out Emilio's. I thought the slice would be overwhelming with the pieces of chicken but it was perfect! The chicken melts in your mouth and every bite was filled with vodka sauce. I would definitely come back.

One of the best pizza's that I have ever had. I love there bacon,pepperoni, and chicken vodka slices. I have never had a more flavorful pizza dough. You can see that there is another level of attention to detail that they put into there pies. The thoughtfulness of using quality ingredients and quantity of those ingredients that are put onto every slice. They have the only pizza shop that I have been to where the toppings are coming out of the oven dehydrated. It is a mystery to me how it is that they can get there chicken on there slices so juicy.It is always packed in here so you know its good and the turnover of the pies. They are far from the cheapest slices and pies. It will cost you a pretty penny, but it is worth it. This is one of those places where the mantra "You get what you pay for for is true."The staff is always nice and accommodating. Your best bet is to order it online and come in to pick it up. Parking sucks in the area. I would definitely recommend this pizza to end one looking to get the good stuff. P.S. Because of the price it may always work out to order a whole pie for the best value. P.S. (again) Largest drink selection that I have seen at a pizza place in a while.

An easy decision for pizza, great pizza. I've had Emilio's before, but this is a no contest kind of thing. I love this spot, their pizza never disappoints. Always amazing fresh and filling. Definitely recommend, if your around Morris Park. Happy Eating!

For sure, without a doubt, a very tasty slice. Also a very good looking slice, my compliments to the pizza chef! This would would usually be a ground ball 4 star review for me, but after getting banged $4.50 a slice I gotta drop it down to 3 stars. That being said, I've never ordered a large pie from Emilio's which I intend to do soon. If the pie blows me out of the water, I'll update my review most likely to 4 stars. That being said if you're in the neighborhood and don't mind the 4.50, check them out!

Came here because it was one of the only few places open around 10:30pm. I had high expectations but didn't leave this place feeling happy. I ordered eggplant parmesan calzone, big portion size but it was missing something. It wasn't flavorful. My friend ordered a slice of Chicken francese pizza. It was different, the chicken had a strong lemon taste. I liked it but you will only like it if you like lemon flavor. There is a limited seating available inside. The cashier was friendly. Even though I liked the pizza, I don't think it was extra ordinary. Don't think I will be going back.

Frequent customer for my office staff and always very satisfied with their catering dishes and set up. All time favorites Chicken vodka pizza, penne vodka & eggplant anything! Richie, Mike and the team bend over backwards to make everything delicious and special. A must for your next catering event! You won't be disappointed!

After hearing about this place for so long, I decided to finally give it a try - and I will be returning. As mentioned, this place was recommended for me for quite some time and being that I'm always on the lookout for a good pizzeria. I initially was going to take 2 plain slices and a drink, but when I saw all the different types of pizza and everything else, suddenly a plain pizza slice seemed boring. There was honestly so much my eyes saw, that I wanted to order one of everything and just eat until my stomach exploded. I settled on the chicken vodka slice, the bacon chicken ranch slice, and of course 1 plain slice. The plain slice was average really. The other two however were not only filling, but tasted great and I immediately knew I would be returning for more. They gave me a fork and knife with the 2 specialty slices and I figured they'd both fall apart as soon as I picked them up, but they held together well as they make the crust crispy enough to hold the weight if you eat them carefully. The fork came in handy near the end of the chicken vodka slice when the remnants started to come off. I was extremely hungry when I walked in and totally full when I left here. I NEVER leave the crust, but I had to since I ordered more than I should have and regretted even ordering the plain slice. The glass display in the front had more than enough items and everything looked fresh - not like they've been sitting out for hours and hours like a lot of places do. I will be coming back for the rest. The place is small and the seating is limiting. I sat on one end where a line formed inside and people were next to me as I was eating, which I hate. Next time I'll try for another spot if it's available. Someone was cleaning the tables frequently, which is always a good thing. The drink selection is just ok - could be better, but could also be worse. The area is busy and it's hard to find a spot during certain times. You could try for a side street or in the street, though I'm not sure if it's metered (there is a one hour time limit sign). I walked over from my job, so I wouldn't know either way. For all those who claim all pizzerias are the same, they don't know what they're talking about. And all pizzas don't taste the same. The plain slices here are average, but more towards the above average than not. Certainly the specialty pizza here is unique (the chains don't count) and tastes great. There is more than enough on the menu to satisfy most and you could come here for a while without ever having the same thing twice. I will be returning for sure.

Let's see, 1st people behind counter are not that pleasant. $5 bucks for a slice ? Really??? Not the greatest slice either, would not go out of my way for this pizza.
