A very nice selection of vintage and antique items. The vendors were friendly and I loved that there are restaurants in the same place. While I visited on a slow day where locals were still celebrating a local holiday. There was plenty to see!

Cool please! Firstly I thought it’s just parking spot :) the main entrance… However inside is like ancient museum , and there are cafe shops at the behind and more shops … Good place to explore !

Absolutely faboulous. Great experience and nice and cozy place to step back in time. Gastro is gorgeus, you gotta go!

My favorite spot around Barcelona if I am looking for an artsy-oriented Sunday! Very beautiful old/vintage/cool furniture and decor. I recommend going in the library-bar around 12.30-1pm and sit by a table and wait for the mini concert to come (just on Sundays). Enjoy your day!

Warning: I wouldn't advise people who suffer with sensory overload not to go but my advice would be to take someone along with you who is good at navigating their way through crowds. At the Mercantic you will see stalls selling handmade jewelry, fabrics and other crafts. You will also see the Bibliotheca, one of the biggest, and I mean massive, second hand bookshops in the world, as well as being a jazz venue and a place where random people can play the several pianos dotted around the place. You will also be greeted by the height of Catalan visual culture i.e. stained glass Infront of the loos depicting generously built naked young women sitting provocatively on the lavotory in art deco style. I'm sure that appeals to a certain type of person, but no one I know.

Magical place for all the antique lovers. The place is huge, so be ready to spend there up to 2 hours and this does not include grabbing lunch or a drink in one of the many lovely places to eat

Really great market to visit, full of antiques and handmade things! It's definitely all very expensive but it's still worth a visit, even if just to walk around. There are also a lot of cafes/restaurants where you can stop to have a drink. Entrance fee was €2 on a weekend, not sure if you pay during the week.
